Great customer service. My daughter is so happy with her dress

Absolutely love their dresses. I have over 20 that I’ve ordered over the years. I wear their dresses to my Xmas party every year. Fits to size, material is fab and the dresses are stunning!

Absolutely love their dresses! Just ordered a white corset halter for my second look for my wedding and I was obsessed. The quality exceeded my expectations. The corset was beautifully made with thick, structured material that provided amazing support and fit perfectly. The fabric felt luxurious and high-end, and every detail was stunning. On top of that, shipping was incredibly fast and arrived much sooner than expected. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and would definitely recommend it! Always my go to for dresses.

A very unfortunate and regrettable decision to purchase my bridesmaids dresses from this very poorly run company. It’s a shame because the girls working there are lovely but the policies are used and manipulated to blame you as the consumer.

I ordered custom bridesmaids dresses for my girls in March. I was so excited and so confident in my decision. I had all my girls measurements and was recommended specific sizes for each one based on the measurements I gave. You would think that the “professionals” would advise correctly. I was advised to go for an XS for my smallest bridesmaid, a S for my second, a Med for my MoH and a L for my final bridesmaid. This was PROFESSIONAL SIZING RECOMMENDATIONS GIVEN TO ME. I had one design element I requested be added which was a Lacey and sequenced panelling to be added to the bodice of the dresses. Easy enough and I was told it can be done.

I left so excited and happy and a month later, on Monday I got a message my dresses had arrived! I was ecstatic. I got three different types of shoes to try with the dresses and told my MoH let’s go we have dresses to try on!

Alas when we go there, the Med did not fit my MoH. Nor did the L! I started to panic and called my SMALLEST BRIDESMAID to come in for an emergency fitting! She made her way down after she finished work and, believe it or not, but the XS, S and Med all DID NOT ZIP UP PAST HER TORSO! And we were professionally recommended to order her the XS based on her measurements. By this point I was on the verge of tears. My wedding is 2 months away and NONE of my bridesmaids dresses fit the girls.

My MoH, bridesmaid and myself all sat there trying to figure out why this was happening. Came to the only conclusion that adding the lace panelling removed any kind of stretch around the natural contour of a woman’s bust / back.

I left and when I came back with my MoH, mum and fiancé the next day, I was met with an extremely rude and defensive woman who called from Brisbane and told me that she would not speak to anyone except me because I was the one who bought the dresses. Well firstly, she can’t make that assumption. What if my mum or fiancé or MoH paid ? How would she know and what does it matter. Second, when her immediate tone was defensive and rude I immediately felt like I was being blamed, at which point I got fed up and asked for a refund. At that point the lady started telling me it was my fault for not getting the sizes right and that she would “remake the dresses at a loss to the company out of goodwill”
I didn’t want a remake because at that point I did not/do not trust this company anymore. Not only that but I didn’t just say so and so size. I gave all my girls measurements to the stylist who served us and was professionally recommended specific sizes based on those measurements. However, I was not even able to communicate that the sizing was not the issue but the manufacturing was, and quite frankly, if these people were experts and so professional the way they claim to be it would have been communicated and advised to me that this specific design specification I wanted would not have worked and I should have been offered an alternative before the dresses were made. I was not and I cannot be expected as the consumer to know anything about this, which is why I had trusted the stylist/ designer when they said it could be done and these were the sizes I should get. When my mum tried to speak to the lady on the phone because I was starting to have a breakdown and crying, the lady basically said, “I can’t speak to you” and hung up !! I tried calling back and got sent straight to voicemail.

To cut a long story short, the simple fact of the matter is Do Not Do Business with this company. They take no accountability and once they have your money you will not see it ever again

I bought this dress as a backup wedding dress..... but its so beautiful that I am considering wearing it instead of the dress I am having made! It fits perfectly as per the measurement guide. Unfortunately it is too long for my legs (I'm shorter than the model) so I shall have to get it shortened to suit my height. Other than that, it's perfect!

DO NOT TRUST THEM. I cant recover my $400 from this company. Sent multiple emails with no response. Quality is average which is why i sent the garment back. Extremely frustrating. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Do not buy from here if you live outside of Australia!!! I paid $43 for an import tax and now have to pay an additional $28 for ANOTHER tax. I was not aware of this, as I thought it was covered. Now, if I do not pay, Alamour says that I will incur additional fees. This is wild - seriously avoid!

The WORST service, completely incompetent staff that won’t take responsibility and this was for my wedding day! I tried on a dress pregnant and got told and reconfirmed with my sister and mum as witnesses that it would be custom made with an extendable back for my growing stomach along with priority production. What transpired was a nightmare - once the dress finally got delivered it was without an adjustable back and Ofcourse it didn’t fit me.
The head staff arguing with me in an unprofessional manner, gaslighting into saying it was never ordered that way, just look at the text messages. Whatever you do, do not trust this store with special occasions - they should be sued and shut down.
There was no refund / they kept my money and the dress that didn’t fit.

Had the BEST experience! I ordered a made-to-order gown, and the Alamour Stylist was nothing but responsive, accommodating, and helpful! Communication was great! The quality of the dress was excellent! Nothing but great things to say about this company:) Highly recommend!

I purchased this dress for $50 (originally listed at $289). While I understand it was heavily discounted and marked as final sale, I was very, very disappointed with the quality when it arrived. In my opinion, the fabric and overall finish did not align with what I would expect from an item originally priced at $289.

I contacted customer service to raise my concerns, but was advised that no remedy was available due to the discounted, final sale nature of the item. This response was frustrating, as I believe the quality of a product should still meet reasonable expectations regardless of a discount.

Overall, this purchase absolutely did not meet my expectations, and based on this experience, I will never buy from this brand again.

I recently bought dresses from Alamour just because I found their prices are so reasonable for such opulent gowns. I was so impressed with the beautiful craftsmanship and its look of exceptional luxury. They were so accommodating with my requests and needs, the service unlike other online stores, so personable and kind, exceeded all my expectations!

Nouf was so kind and passionate with helping me choose my beautiful outfit for my engagement party. Their adaptability to merge two gowns together, show their willingness to support their clients. I was beyond amazed with my beautiful gown and would recommend their special talent to anyone wanting to look like a princess for their event.

Nouf and Alamour were absolutely amazing!! Nouf was so helpful and kind during fittings and gave great advice, I couldn’t be happier with the quality, sizing and look of the dress she helped me choose. Even though it was a last minute custom order, everything was delivered well before the event. I couldn’t be happier!

Amazing experience from the very beginning. I left it late to order a formal dress, but Alamour The Label found the perfect size for me, helped me style it and express posted my dress to receive it just in time. So happy with the dress, fits true to size and makes me feel like a princess. Highly recommend!

If i could rate them 0, I would because they are unprofessional. I ordered a dress in late Nov with a ship date listed on their website for Dec 26. Jan 5, I reach out and they just say they are busy. I couldn't get a hold of someone until Jan 11. Then they tell me it will be late Feb. They keep trying to convince me to take a cheaper styled dress than what I ordered or take a smaller size. I keep asking for the size I ordered. It takes them days to weeks to respond each time. Every time, I keep asking for an update and they would not commit to sending me the dress I paid for. Finally, they cancel my order after 3 months!

So many ways wrong with the way they handled this:
1) they shouldn't sell a dress that can't make.
2) lack of communication. they should always keep their customers updated. If they got the order in Nov and knew they hadn't shipped it, they should have said something the week of at the latest.
3) I have seen them do this multiple times based on the other reviews where people are asked to take a different dress than they ordered.

I never write bad reviews but here is my first. This has to be the most unprofessional business and bad quality purchase I have made. I made several attempts to get in contact with the store while they were ignoring my emails and texts. I purchased a dress on preorder (Mind you it was not a cheap purchase either) which they kept delaying the delivery for over a year and eventually store credited me my money with no warning or refund and put the dress price up by double the amount. My store credit did not work for majority of the dresses I tried to order so I ended up buying shoes instead. I had no option but to pay for express delivery at checkout which then took 10 days for them to process my order and 14 days to send to me in the same Country! These shoes are poor quality, had the soles of the shoes ripping up, glue all over the seems and the zips are terrible quality. I would never purchase from here again.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I ordered a dress (sometime in April 2025). I then received a message saying I had to pay a €100 import fee or return the dress. I chose to return the dress and get my money back. To this day, I haven't received my refund. I've emailed and messaged several times via WhatsApp, but haven't received a response. Poor customer service. My money is gone, and I can't get it back.

I booked a styling session in Brisbane for a wedding dress and the beautiful owner Nouf was my stylist. She was amazing! She had all the gowns I requested prepared, plus a few extra that were a similar style.

All the dresses are AMAZING. They fit so well and look stunning. I would've been happy with so many of them, but found my favourite that I am OBSESSED with.

Had so much fun with Nouf, my bridesmaid and my mum.

This online store is my go to for dresses. I've shopped here since 2022 and so far these have been my best purchases. the quality is great and the shipping is fast. For example, I wanted a made to order dress and I emailed them before purchasing it asking if they had the dress on my size, they confirmed they had one in stock and I was able to purchase it once they confirmed. They were able to get me the dress in 5 business days instead of 5 weeks (per the made to order policy). I love Alamour and can't recommend it enough. Nouf is who helped me and is awesome!

This is a scam! Never recieved my clothes and after I paid $60 to ship something that was $100 they told me o never got it because of customs and say I owed another 30. Do NOT buy from them
