After paying and sending exact location details of my lost item from Apple Find My, they did nothing for 3 weeks. Airport staff had the item, but AirportRecovery never reached out or helped. They still haven’t refunded me.

Absolute scam. They claim there is a free tier, but then will text you immediately to let you know your submission isn't complete until you pay. Then they will send 100 boilerplate emails claiming to work with the airport. Airports will be unable to verify this and will be able to help you for free. Do not use.

I paid this company $133 to find my purse that I left underneath my seat on Delta airlines I contacted them two hours after I paid them and stated that I wanted my money back and they sent me an email that said I would receive my refund immediately but I did not receive it. These people are a scam so I reported them to my bank and had my card canceled and opened a complaint with my bank regarding reversing the charge. I will never fall for this again.

Clearly a scam! Took my money and then wouldn't take my phone calls or respond to my e-mails. No updates provided and DEFINITELY no actual assistance in recovering my lost bag.

As you cant give minus stars.. THIS IS A SCAM ! DO not pay for it. Do the job and call Lost and Found, call the local Airport police and search for your luagage by your self. I found my own lugage by calling and not giving up ! Please do not be as stupid as I was and paid in despair....They do nothing by searching. And I asked for a personal call, personal meet with their so called representative. NO ANSWER. ONLY more very well written mails!! I ve asked for a refund as I found my own lugage via the Aiport police and will pick it up myself.

After filling everything out, they inform you that you cannot submit a claim unless you pay $79.99.
From what I've seen, they will do the bare minimum so one can't charge-back or make a claim against them but items are rarely found/retrieved but they will claim

Initiate a claim as they are the first website which pops up when you make a google such for lost property at an airport. I gave it up once they asked for payment for an expedited service as this already seemed quite shady. They harassed me with e-mails non stop to try and get me to pay for the "priority service". After reading the reviews on trust pilot, one can only concluded they are a predatory company, preying on the misfortune of others and making them pay in hopes of recovering their lost possessions, only to then be left to dry once payment has been made.

Unbelievably bad. I’m so embarrassed that I fell for this scam. They asked for $75 to prioritize looking for your luggage. Otherwise they say that it could take two weeks for them to look. They pretend that they are affiliated with the airport and then they ask for another $75 for urgent concierge service. These people don’t even have any workers. It’s just a scam site. I have no idea how they could be in business. It’s really shameful and predatory.

It is a scam. I recovered my items myself, and they continued to email me that were working on the case.

ARS did not recover my item. (It was found by the airline.) ARS offered a partial refund that I have never received after 5 weeks of emails and calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Very much a scam you get one phone call to verify payment and then nothing but automated emails and chats. We found the device on our own and all we needed the service to do was arrange pick up and shipping. And they wouldnt read a single email i sent explaining this.

I want to warn others based on my experience. I paid Airport Recovery Service (ARS) to help retrieve my lost items from Istanbul Airport, and it quickly became clear that they are not doing anything they claim.

I personally found my items myself through the official IGA Lost & Found and received a reference number directly from the airport. I provided ARS with the exact location, the reference number, screenshots, official emails — everything.

Despite this, ARS kept sending me the same automated message every single day saying they are “still searching the database,” even though there was nothing left to search. It became obvious that they had not even read my messages.

It also appears they do not have any agent or representative at Istanbul Airport who can actually retrieve items. They never acknowledged the airport’s confirmation, never took action, and never provided real support.

I ended up spending time, energy, and money doing 100% of the work myself, while ARS continued to pretend they were working on it.

This service is misleading and acted in a way that feels scam-like.
My advice: go directly through the airport’s official Lost & Found. Do NOT rely on this company.

This is a scam. Left my coat in airside in Charlotte Airport. Airport recover charged $81 for recovery service. They do nothing. Went back to the Airport several days later and Lost and Found did not have it. They advised they never have any contact with Airport Recovery and none of their members show up. They continue to send updates on how hard they are looking even though I know the coat is long gone. Cannot make contact with them by any method. Got my bank to cancel the payment and block card details I used for payment.

This "service" is a scam. I was able to recover my lost item by working with airport police. While I'm disappointed that I fell for this scam, it was funny to recover my lost item (CPAP machine) and continue to receive emails from Airport Recovery Services (18 in total / all AI generated) about their tireless search for it in a seemingly VAST inventory of lost items. Unfortunately, Airport Recovery Services was never able to recover my CPAP machine, despite their thorough search. Meanwhile, I was able to identify and recover my CPAP after exchanging 2-3 emails with the police.

You are a SCAM. Do not send any money. I am out $153 and all I get is bullshit messages. The airport has verified that my lost article has been found and they won't even contact them.

Its a scam and unfortunately I checked trust pilot after I paid. Dont pay and report them. They start sending you emails in the beginning and next your ghosted. After I checked TP and asked for a refund I was told that they would keep some because the so-called agent started working and would refund the larger portion back to me. Never happened they never answered my reminders.

Absolute Scam . Charged me US $79 and when I figured out it was scam and informed them within 6 hours they said ok will refund $65 in 5 business days , pls don’t inform your bank . True enough the refund never came . Scam scam scam

Not a good service. I dont recommend using this when you lost items in airports. Refund takes a lot of time to process and their customer service is not helpful. No one is answering their phone either.

Total scam. I literally gave them the contact information and the location of where my item is. They keep sending vague messages that they are looking through inventory. I contacted the business that has my item and they have not received a call from Airport recovery. When I call Airport recovery I get a recording my call is first in line, then about a minute later it says there is no one available and I can leave a message. I have left several messages with no call back. I have emailed many times with answers that don't respond to what I wrote. Do NOT use this company. They will just scam you out of your money.

Except warm email they do nothing to find the lost.
I found it by myself at the lost and found office in Athens.
