Upon arrival ar my destination i was unable to locate my wallet. Afraid i would have to cancel all of my credit cards at the beginning of my trip, I started the claim process. Both Janice and Marge assisted me, walking me through the process for the best chances of quick recovery and when I later found my wallet in my luggage, helping me to cancel my claim

Agent Maja was very patient and kind to me. I’m hopeful her team can find my lost item.

Mark was great! He explained next steps and answered all of my questions. I appreciated his willingness to help and support me through this process.

I panicked when I realized I left my CPAP at the airport gate in Minneapolis. The Lost and Found would not open until the next day. I found Airportrecover on the Internet (I should have looked at Trust Pilot first!) They were ABSOLUTELY USELESS and when I calmed down I was able to recover the CPAP from the Minneapolis Airport Lost and Found within hours.

The fast detailed communication from the initial claim filed to the final recovery report. We had a phone within 10min from the claim and an email early the next day. We appreciated Mark keeping us up to date and Eric delivering the good news.

It is now clear that this is a scam. I stupidly paid for a search for a lost item, but now saw that the airport CDG in Paris does it for free. Is there anyway that a complaint about this scam can be made?

This is a complete scam. They advertise so they show up on the top of your search engine when you look for "lost and found" at your desired airport, and then they make it seem like it's a legit service. What you get is $60 money spent and some person outside the U.S. who checks the "logs" for you. There's no one who actually has boots on the ground to find your item!

This company is nothing but a scam. I lost my passport at the TSA checkpoint - I told them that in the form. Got a BS email that they were looking for my lot item. I thought, mmmm, I wonder if TSA has it's on lost & found? They do & it is a US Government service. Called the TSA office at the airport I departed and GUESS WHAT - THEY HAD MY PASSPORT CARD.... AMAZING, and sent it to me after I set up a FEDEx Account. I threw away $57 to this Scam airportrecovery. com which just emailed me they are sorry after 20 days they can't find my item... DID THEY EVEN TRY... I doubt it SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!! Save your $$$$

They are at the top of the search results on Google. If you’ve lost an item at an airport, you will probably look to get it back as soon as you realize it’s not in your possession. Which means you’ll look up the airport lost and found and hastily chose the first search result. I filled out all the info about the item, plus name, address, phone, and as soon as I get to the next webpage they ask for $89 for expedited recovery. There is nothing more frustrating than realizing you’ve been wasting your time with a scam agent when you’re trying to retrieve something quickly.

Do not use. Complete useless scam. This company should not exist. We'll file a complain to the Consumer Bureau.

EDIT if it can help other people. When I sent an email to ask for a refund, they said that there are 2 conditions and condition b is that they cant refund if they have started looking for the item. They suggested a partial refund (67$). I refused and said I will ask my bank for a chargeback because there was no mention of the condition, not even an asterisk. I also said in the email they sent when the payment is not complete, its not mentionned either so i will not accept to loose 15$. They then replied they will immediately refund. Let's see.

I thought I’m in the official website of the airport (CDG) where I lost my hearing aids…

This is a scam. Don’t throw good money after bad.

UPDATE my bank reversed the $133 that I paid Airportrecovery to find my purse that I left on Delta. I called my bank and they said I had to cancel my debit card and they would do a full investigation of the charge. It took them 5 days in all AND I got my money back. So take that you scammers!!!! YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK. IF YOU CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD OR BANK
