Really great call and super informative

I had a disappointing experience with Airport Security Recovery. Unfortunately, my item was never found.

I reported my missing medication about four hours after realizing I had left it at the TSA checkpoint. I provided detailed information, including the exact timeframe and location where the item was left. Despite this, I never received any clear updates on whether TSA was actually contacted or if the item was ever located.

The team mentioned they were “searching” within the first 12 hours, but there was no transparency about what that process involved. I was left without updates 24 hours after reporting my missing item and never knew what actions were actually taken. At this point, I can only assume the item may have been discarded by TSA team, but no one was able to confirm anything.

After waiting 5–6 days without any meaningful updates, I requested a refund. The only follow-up I received, after I requested the refund, was a PDF transcript of our conversation, which they used to justify issuing only a partial refund. I am still waiting to see if that refund will actually be processed.

Overall, I do not recommend this service due to the lack of communication, transparency, and results. That said, I do want to acknowledge that Deland, who contacted me, was very polite and professional throughout the interaction.

I requested a refund from Airport Recovery after having to do most of the work myself to locate my lost documents. I initially provided them with all the necessary details, including the airline and the area where I last had my documents, and was told they were actively working on the case. However, after weeks of no updates, I decided to file a lost-and-found report directly with the airline. Within 24 hours, the airline contacted me to confirm that my documents had been found.

I then informed Airport Recovery that I was dissatisfied with their lack of progress and follow-up. They agreed to issue a partial refund within 5–7 business days, which I accepted. Unfortunately, the refund process was extremely frustrating. I had to send multiple reminder emails and make several calls just to get a response. What was promised to take less than a week ended up taking over a month and a half.

Eventually, I was able to reach John from Airport Recovery, who finally processed the refund promptly. While I appreciate his assistance, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor communication and significant delays.

Very courteous agent named Joanne and unbelievable speedy response time to my claim ! Amazing. Still waiting if I will get any results. To be seen….
