I have an issue with vouchers that were gifted to me and have been trying for almost 2 weeks to speak to a human about it. It seems it’s impossible. Very disappointing. Will not be using or recommending using again. The vouchers I have are valid until the 31 October 2026 and I’m being told they have expired.
The account was credited after this review however every time I try to use it I’m told there is a problem with the payment card even though the card is being charged 0. I have tried 3 different cards. I have to approve it with bank/card company and every time it fails. I have tried many times over many days?????

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you’ve had some trouble with your purchase.
I am afraid this Wowcher voucher was not redeemed in time and therefore no delivery was arranged. If
a voucher is not redeemed, eventually it will expire and it will no longer be able to be used. This
information was given prior to purchase; however, I will refund credit to your Wowcher account as a
gesture of goodwill. This is for 100% of the value and this can be used immediately.
Many Thanks

Please use the below, and this will guide you to complete the delivery;
Wowcher sells vouchers that can be exchanged with the merchant for a product or service. Once the
deal closes customers receive their Wowcher via email (your Wowchers can also be accessed in your
Wowcher account under the “My Account” section).
To use your Wowcher simply follow the steps below:
1. Log into your account (www.Wowcher.co.uk/login).
2. Click on "My Account" in the top right hand corner of the screen.
3. Once in your account you will see your purchased Wowcher(s).
4. Next to each Wowcher is a “View” button which can be used to open the Wowcher.
5. Specific redemption instructions are shown on each Wowcher under the heading HOW TO REDEEM.
Please be aware the Wowcher code is case sensitive and needs to be entered exactly as it appears.
6. You need to redeem your Wowcher if you have not already done so and enter your delivery details to
receive delivery of your order. You must do this before the expiry date printed on your Wowcher.

I used to love 5pm.co.uk but now it seems they're owned by wowcher. I tried to book a spa day for two (via 5pm) and wowcher supplied me with 2 separate vouchers, and then I couldn't book the 2 vouchers on the same day. How on earth does a mother and daughter spa day work when we have to attend on different days? Wowcher has no humans that are available to talk or chat with to fix things and their AI via WhatsApp was not helpful. Thankfully the spa venue was helpful and sorted it for me. I will never use 5pm or wowcher again. They've become utterly useless.
Response to Wowcher's feedback:
I've already spent far too long trying to contact you, and tying to engage with your WhatsApp AI. It's disappointing that you only get involved when I share my experience on Trust Pilot. You're too late. If you'd helped me on Monday, I'd likely have been a happy customer, but now you've lost a customer.

Very dissatisfied! Impossible to reach anyone!
I have tried to contact both email addresses listed on your website contact us section (salessupport@thelocalpeople & info@thelocalpeople) but both return as undeliverable. I've also reached out to customercare@5pm and d.mcguire@5pm with no response. I've even called your listed number 0141 204 7841, but again... no response.
I purchased 2 vouchers and booked via the provider who subsequently cancelled the event on 08/08/2026. I was wondering if it’s possible to obtain a refund from you, as the provider has directed me to do, but you are proving impossible to reach on any form of media at all! can someone please contact me.
