I would rate it below 1 but not possible. I was forced to move over to 123-reg after tsohost stopped trading.
Never faced issues with basics like email. Used webmail, browser email, outlook client email and never an issue of failed delivery on a shared environment!
Move over to 123-reg - costs 4 times the cost, pathetic support, expect you to accept poor standards and pay through the nose! Avoid at all costs.
Worst Experience Ever
Reading these reviews makes me realise I am not the only customer suffering and being held hostage in the hands of this American corporation and their mis-management of my TSO-Host server hosting account. I can't gain access to myclient area because the server has been locked down and I am unable to receive emails via the server thus preventing me gaining access to the myclient area. Not even sure of the circumstances causing this but now 3 days without any internet visibility for 2 critical websites. Never have I experienced anything so bad as this. Transitioning accounts from TSO-Host has clearly been mis-managed and their processes are flawed.

Lost access to all my stuff since my tso host migration and they are no help at all. These arent the correct place to put reviews either, they have another 123reg trustpilot which has a semi decent rating unlike here. And they reply to reviews.
Avoid avoid avoid
Like others have said, after being migrated from TSOHost I now have to pay for email forwarding at £3 a month for the rest of my contract which was previously free. If they can’t provide like for like then they should offer a refund but trying to get that message through to them is like pulling teeth. When I tried to give them 0 out of 10 in their webchat survey, it wouldn’t submit my scores!
Avoid them, they’re thieves.
Literally hijacked our account
Company took over our domain name from tsohost and deleted al our MX records in the process, effectively logging us our from our account as we are now unable to receive the verification email. Our business website is also not working any more, and no one at 123-reg is willing to look into this. It has been 4 days now and it is costing us business severely. I would definitely avoid this company at all cost

I have been migrated from TSOhost and it has been a shambles. Locked me out of my account without warning. Won’t unlock because I can’t provide them with a utility bill in the company name - I work from home and am self employed so I don’t have bills in the company name. Send endless amounts of proof including companies house/ HMRC info. No replies to my emails - one of their team wven suggested I move to another company to gain access to my email! They have put privacy settings on the account so no one can view anything to prove I am the account holder.
Feels like a complete scam of a company.

Awful Service, migrated from TSOHOST against my will. Zero contact from the company, deleted all my files and then had the audacity to ask for 100GBP to get the files back. What a scam company
Do not use Reg-123
I regret to inform you that my experience with 123 Reg has been deeply disappointing. Their lack of proactive communication regarding critical issues has led to significant disruptions. For instance, I received no notifications when my server space was nearing its limit, resulting in unexpected downtime. Similarly, there were no alerts about impending SSL certificate expirations, causing security vulnerabilities on my website. When I reached out for assistance, the response was neither timely nor professional, leaving me to resolve issues that could have been prevented with proper communication. This pattern of neglect and inadequate support has severely impacted my operations, and I cannot recommend 123 Reg to others.
Doubled my price without warning. Just took the funds and won't refund.
I was moved by TSO Host. TSO issued an invoice for £180 for one of my services but didn't take payment. 123 Reg took a payment for the same service but took £360 for it. I sent a copy of the TSO invoice and said that's the amount I expected to pay. They replied saying that they are not bound to hold TSO prices. They aren't willing to do anything at all and seemed not to care at all. How is this ethical and how do they expect to retain customers or their reputation??!!

I was moved from TSOHost to 123-reg without choice and without much in the way of an explanation as how the hosting was different.
The main difference is the cost! Normally free services are suddenly paid for. Email forwarding is £2.50 per domain per month.
This feels more like a scam than an ISP.
All domains have now been moved elsewhere to a cheaper ISP with free email forwarding.
Avoid at all costs
Like some other reviewers I was moved from TSO Host against my will. As I already had an account with 123 Reg I have now been locked out of both accounts. I am now (unsuccessfully) having to go through an account recovery process for which I cannot provide the requested documentation they are asking for because it does not exist. There seems to me no means of negotiation and their support service are useless.
I’d urge everyone with the same issue to lodge a complaint with Nominet.
Update: by far the worst support experience I’ve ever encountered. Incompetence doesn’t being to describe my experience.
Poor Customer Experience so far.
I've been with TSOHOST for several years, I got transferred when they bought the company to 123-Reg.
I added a forgot password to my existing account as it wouldn't allow me to login in from TSO-HOST details. Not the end of the world, but it's time consuming...
Their interface and dashboard is very easy to use.
But let down with not being able to pay for my client domain names for the renewals as their system won't accept the debit card to pay for renewals.
I checked the card details several times, but unable to check or change it as it's grayed out, so cannot change or check it without deleting it and starting again. 45 Minutes so far, utter waste of my time.
Terrible company
Terrible company. I implore you DO NOT USE 123-Reg They will destroy your business reputation overnight. Took our site down because of an apparent failure to process payment. Then offered it for sale immediately, No prior warning that the card had failed, Just down straight away and up for sale. we were in the middle of a presentation to potential investors, and we went to show them our brand-new site, and all we saw was this domain was for sale. used to be quite good the company still UK registered but I think the employees they're not from the UK! The customer service is zero . The guy hung up the phone on me when I called back he answered the phone but he did not want to speak I called again!! The way he was speaking to me like he was doing me a favor. I have several domains with this company , but after this call today I will make my own decision. Time of calling 12.45!!
Appalling
Like a few others on here i have had my domains and hosting that were with TSOHOST transferred when they bought the company to 123-Reg. I had a welcome email. Tried to log in and no account exists. Now i am in the middle of a back and forth with someone on email in a desperate attempt to gain access to my existing domains. I am losing the will to live.
Awful service with little to no support
Had no end of issues since TSO host migration, website and emails not working and they want to charge me more money to sort it out - that figure also changes depending on who you 'chat' with. Would avoid if you can

Absolute utter shambles, no way to raise a ticket, because you need to be logged in. TSO leaving a trail of disaster as usual.
