A very bad experience. I was working with them on the production side. The requirements are very high and in order to get an order you have to bid with a very low price which does not bring you who knows what profit. Besides that, after you send the parts, you get a message after a month that the parts were not ok and you have to prepare a document to work on the grid in the following orders. If they make mistakes in the files, they try to make you guilty. In the end, the company that produces the parts comes out with a bad image. If you ask for the parts back, you have to pay the shipping again. Finally, we do not recommend companies to collaborate with this company that only outsources work, they do not produce anything. If you are a manufacturer, avoid this company.

Das Programm zeigt schön Preis und Liefertermin an, was mir gepasst hat. Geld überwiesen und dann wurde mir gesagt das der Termin nicht eingehalten werden kann. Kein Preisnachlass oder sonstiges. Ich habe bezahlt unter einer Voraussetzung die einfach geändert wurde. Das Problem war, dass das Projekt terminiert war. Und schon stand ich da. Nach mehrmaligem nachfragen wurde mir gesagt, dass Sie ihr bestes tun. Einfaches Provisionsgerede vom Mitarbeiter. Bauteil kam natürlich 2 Wochen später an und die Pakete wurden vertauscht. Ich habe das Paket eines anderen Kunden bekommen und er meins. KATASTROPHAL ! Das sind sensible Daten und firmeninterne Bauteile die einfach in der Hand eines Fremden gelandet sind. Nach Austausch mit dem anderen Kunden haben wir die Pakete uns zugesendet. Und es geht weiter! Mein Bauteil wurde graviert, obwohl mehrmals im E-Mail Verlauf drauf aufmerksam gemacht wurde: Bitte nicht gravieren ! Unterm Strich, es wurde alles falsch gemacht was man falsch machen kann. Ich verstehe das man Online Teile bestellen will/muss da die Fertiger in unserem Land keine Lust mehr haben auf Einzelteile, aber ich denke es gibt einige andere Alternativen im Netz.

Hanno preso il nostro ordine, assicurandoci fattibilità e rispetto delle tempistiche. Poi hanno avuto difficoltà a reperire chi producesse i componenti. Di fatto hanno spedito il nostro sistema a diversi fornitori cinesi, rivelandosi dei semplici intermediari che non hanno nemmeno il controllo di quello dic ui sono responsabili. Il risultato è una serie di componenti arrivati con ritardi inaccettabili e con qualità delle lavorazioni inadeguata assolutamente fuori specifica. Questo ha avuto un impatto assolutamente negativo sul progetto per il quale erano stati commissionati. L'idea che ci siamo fatti è che possano essere un service per hobbisti, ma a livello professionale sono assolutamente da evitare. Li definirei inadeguati.

En quelques clics j'ai pu faire imprimer ma pièce et reçue en 6j. C'était une petite pièce, j'en ai reçu 4 au lieu d'une, très bien emballé, bon suivi, je suis bluffé, bravo Xometry !

Getting a quote,ordering and paying was easy. Communication clear and friendly.

But actually getting a fairly simple part (6082 aluminum, outer contour, 4 holes, a cutout on front and back) milled... OMG! Estimated delivery time .. 10 days.. after 30 days, still no part and problems.
First they contacted me because the part had two blind holes... they forgot to mill out the cutout on the back !?
20 days later no part and other problems. Could have milled the part myself, on my conventional mill, in the mean time.

Met mijn eenmanszaak ben ik doorgaand op zoek naar opdrachten. Vroeger was ik in nederland geabboneerd bij Quel.nl. Andere werkwijze, en ook meer aanvragen van bijvoorbeeld constructiewerk, plaatwerk en laswerk. Xometery is hoofdzakelijk toegespitst op verspaning. Volgens Xometry is constructiewerk, plaatwerk en laswerk nog in ontwikkeling bij hun.

I had cost estimates drawn up based on my own drawings, CNC milled parts in steel and aluminum and had prototypes printed in plastic. All parts were manufactured and delivered according to the delivery date or earlier. The goods were always perfectly packaged, delivered undamaged and of high quality. Communication via email or telephone was never too much or too little. I am happy.

Azienda sicuramente molto competitiva per i prezzi, ma altrettanto problematica a livello di gestione ordine. Partendo dal fatto che è stato fatto un preventivo, e poi ritrattato il prezzo finale per un errore. Tutte le componentistiche vengono stampate esternamente da aziende che cooperano con Xometry, il che può creare problemi di ritardi e altrettanti disguidi al cliente finale. Nel mio caso, è saltata una presentazione importante alla riunione agenti per la mancanza della consegna dei componenti in azienda.
