Quiero dejar constancia de mi muy mala experiencia con XM y advertir a otros usuarios.
En mi caso, se produjo un incidente de seguridad en mi cuenta y se autorizó/procesó un retiro hacia una cuenta que no me pertenece y que yo no autoricé.
Lo más preocupante es que, según la respuesta que recibí de XM, la empresa reconoce que mi cuenta fue cancelada debido a un supuesto “incidente de piratería informática”. Sin embargo, la solución que me ofrecen es simplemente abrir una cuenta nueva con otro correo electrónico, enviar una selfie con mi documento de identidad y realizar una verificación telefónica.
Mi preocupación principal sigue sin resolverse: ¿cómo fue posible que se autorizara un retiro hacia una cuenta que no es mía? Considero que esto plantea serias dudas sobre los controles de seguridad y los procedimientos de autorización de retiros.
Espero que XM investigue formalmente lo ocurrido, explique cómo se produjo esta operación y adopte las medidas necesarias para solucionar el problema y proteger los fondos de sus clientes.
Comparto esta experiencia públicamente para que otros usuarios tengan conocimiento de lo sucedido y puedan valorar cuidadosamente los riesgos y las medidas de seguridad de la plataforma.

My funds were withdrawn without my authorization despite 2FA enabled
I have been a client of XM and recently faced a serious issue. My account had Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) fully enabled for security, yet my funds were withdrawn to a different account without my request or approval.
I immediately contacted XM support and compliance, asking for detailed transaction logs, including IP address, device information, and location of the withdrawal. Unfortunately, until today I have not received a satisfactory explanation or the requested details.
This experience has severely affected my trust, especially since I expected stronger protection for accounts with 2FA enabled. I hope XM takes this matter seriously and provides full transparency to its clients.

I requested a $1,073 withdrawal, and the next day XM closed my account due to an alleged facial verification failure
I am the legitimate account holder and am willing to provide all requested documents to verify my identity . My withdrawal was rejected, and XM stated that my profits would be deducted. I also now appear to be potentially IP-banned from accessing XM , no clear timeframe was provided for the review I am cooperating fully and simply want a fair resolution and the return of any funds that legitimately belong to me.
I think I will update this review once XM resolves my case.

Review of XM Broker
I want to share my negative experience working with XM broker. I am a client of the company and have faced a serious problem with a withdrawal of funds.
I requested a withdrawal of $5,500 from my trading account. Instead of processing the request, the company blocked my account, citing a reason that does not correspond to reality and has nothing to do with the actual situation on the account. At the same time, the funds were deducted from my balance unilaterally, without any explanation or my consent.
To date, the funds have not been returned to me, and I have not received any clear explanation from customer support. Such actions raise serious doubts about the company’s integrity and the safety of client funds
If this issue is not resolved urgently, I will take the matter to court through an international lawyer, and I will also publicize this case on Instagram through bloggers with large audiences whom I know personally.

My $600 Is Still Being Held by XM
I previously left a review for XM, and they replied to it. I responded to their email, but they still have not restored my account or returned my funds.
This situation is extremely unfair. Every trader places trust in a broker when depositing money, but XM has withheld my $600. This is not money that can simply be taken without justification. People work hard for their savings, and everyone has different financial circumstances and responsibilities.
I submitted the required documents three times, but XM rejected them each time without providing a satisfactory resolution. I respectfully request XM to refund my $600 and return my account access.
I also ask Trustpilot to carefully review the complaints against XM. If Trustpilot investigates customer experiences and reviews, it will find many traders reporting similar issues. XM has not returned my $600, and they have also disabled my ability to trade on MT5 without any clear reason.
This is unfair treatment, and I hope XM resolves this matter by returning my funds as soon as possible.

XM caused me financial loss
I suffered a significant financial loss due to spread issues while trading a currency pair on my live account (number 352241730) with XM Global Limited. Around July 22, 2026, I held open positions on the GBP/NOK pair with 1:1000 leverage. At 00:07, XM increased the spread on this pair to approximately five times the normal level; this sudden and unusual widening caused a stop-out on my account. Consequently, I lost my entire capital of $540. I believe this loss was not caused by normal market movements but rather by the platform's abrupt and excessive widening of the spread. I took a screenshot during the trade, and the unusual spike in the spread is clearly visible in that record. I contacted XM customer support regarding this issue, but I was informed that no refund or compensation would be provided. I do not find it acceptable for clients trading with high leverage to lose their capital because the spread is increased several-fold without prior notice
