Hi,
Like many other people I came to know about zoomcar which lets you host their car on rental. I had heard about zoomcar before and thought it’s a known brand and expected that it will be good to try this concept and ertiga is my family which isn’t daily used so I planned to host ertiga on zoomcar.
Initially it was working fine and then I got exposure zoomcar customer support which was working through chatbot which has very limited and than I came to know that host cant speak with customer care there is no call center.
Adverse effect of this kind poor customer support I have seen in first week of May. Around 9pm on 7th May, Vehicle was give to a guest for a zoomcar ride and around 9am on 8th May, I was informed by guest that there is some issue with clutch of my car and it is not in driving condition, so he has informed zoomcar and leaving my car as per instruction of zoomcar. Their was no information from zoomcar how this situation will be managed. I had spent whole day (8th May) with zoomcar trying to ensure that vehicle moves to workshop but its didn’t happened and than I had tried the same on 9th May , I had tried to explain on mails and contacted readyassit (zoomcar vendor) for movement of my car to workshop almost every 30 to 40 mins. It was very difficult time for me since the vehicle was lying unattended for more than 24 hours. On 10th May, I started getting calls from people where vehicle was standing unattended for so many hours and they have asked me to move vehicle from location immediately else they will file police complaint and vehicle will be ceased. Till that time it was more than 48 hours and still vehicle wasn’t moved by zoomcar to workshop. Just imagine my situation, my vehicle costing lacs of rupees are lying unattended on the mercy of zoomcar. Finally I took support from Maruti onraod service and vehicle was moved to workshop with in 1 hour.
Finally when zoomcar people called and when I explained the situation they assured me that my issue has been escalated and I will get all support from zoomcar now.
So now the situation is that I have paid repair cost of my car and zoomcar isn’t responding on my request of payment of repair cost even after many reminders.
On otherside zoom car had paid Rs. 6,852 for this trip (Booking Id JPSNJJ3J0) and they have issued debit of Rs. 22,089 in weekly payouts from 6th May to 6th Jun 2024.
Hence zoomcar has left my vehicle unattended for more than 48hours than didn’t paid for repair cost till now and issuing debits in weekly payouts. Which is quite unbelievable. I doubt if any person who owns a car will be ok with zoomcar for this kind of situation. So far there is no resolution on Ticket ID: 2002103 & 2008916, which gives clear impression that it’s a biggest mistake to trust zoomcar for hosting your car. So please never ever trust zoomcar for hosting your car because they don’t have proper ethics and system to deal with car owners.

I have been using zoomcar for quite a number of years. Their services have deteriorated continuously over the period. My recent experience has been nightmarish. The worst part is they don't have any customer support. You can contact them only through some limited chat options to which they say they will get back within 24-48 hours, regardless of how urgent it is. It is the same for even zoomcar hosts! This time when I was booking a vehicle, On the day of my travel, I had to book 4-5 vehicles as everytime I booked a vehicle and called the host, the host said that the car is not available. They didnt have any option to cancel my booking or to show that their vehicles are not available. We pay for insurance but the host doesn't have any option to claim for any damage. Several cars are not in condition which zoomcar actually claims to have. And u learn all these things after paying for the vehicle and when cancellation will coat u large some of money. There are several other reasons. Cannot write so much. I have vouched to myself that NO MORE ZOOMCAR.

Worst, fraudulent company with no proper on call assistance, if you love your car, please refrain yourself from these companies. I am still waiting for my car to get repaired from past 9 months, still no action has been taken.

Bulls*** car renting app, if you write on the social media, it issues a refund rest all people are fools.
I also booked zoomcar, could not authenticate through their app, tried reaching to their customer care but could not, and lost 50% of my money, will never ever use this app and told all my companies colleagues not to use this app.
Got scammed on zoomcar by host. Blue Maruti Baleno - KA02MQ0826
I booked a Maruti Suzuki Baleno, blue color with registration no. KA02MQ0826. My trip was supposed to start at 10pm on March 28, 2024. Around 9:45, the host Nagesh called me and asked me when I will reach to pickup the car. When i said that I will reach around 11pm as I had some work to finish before leaving, he started shouting at me that I cannot pickup after 10pm and that he will not give the car to me after 10pm and that the booking will be cancelled. Then he said that he sent me an OTP and he needed it to start the trip or else the trip will be cancelled. I fought with him at first saying that I don't want to give him any OTP as in my past experience with zoomcar this has never happened to me. But he started threatening that the trip will be cancelled and he cannot give the car to me so late. So after much fighting I gave himt he OTP. Around 10:06pm I received a message from zoomcar saying 'We have cancelled the trip as per your request'. When I called the host and asked him if he cancelled the trip he said that it was cancelled by Zoom car. Clearly he was lying. I also did not get any refund as the trip was cancelled very late. I lot around Rs 9000/- because of this fiasco. I am writing this as a caution to zoom car customers.
They don't know anything about running a business
Booked a car and they won't let me pick it up because they don't accept my license or passport.
There is NO customer service. No phone, no chat, no email, nothing.
Won't refund me either. I really, really, really hope this company gets sued big time!
Oh, and the email that Trustpilot sends them emails on actually doesn't exist. So they not only don't get our emails, but also TrustPilot's emails.
Cheater Host | Provided MT (manual) car instead of AT as listed
I rented a Renault Triber from Delhi airport for a week, expecting an automatic transmission (AT) car as listed. However, the host, Mr. Prem, provided a manual transmission car instead. This deception has been noted by multiple other users in their reviews of the host. It is concerning that such dishonest practices persist on Zoomcar's platform. If Zoomcar values its reputation, immediate action should be taken to blacklist this host. Attached are my review and those of other users, underscoring this fraudulent behavior.

The worst Host experience, my car got an accident I was trying to repair through zoom car but I am not able to contact customer care through calls/ chat. For damage repair they need email copy, but I am not able to register my email. worst service,worst experience. I don't recommend for car hosting/rental on zoom car.
Completely cheated
The offers shows while booking that vehicle drop and pickup at airport is free. While I called the host he refused as he didn’t opt for it. Therefore I had to cancel it within couple of mins. And they refused to refund a single penny in couple of mins for their own fault. To me it is cheating and classic case to go for consumer court for justice!

My recent experience with Zoomcar left much to be desired. Upon arrival to pick up the rental car, it was nowhere to be found at the designated location. The host informed us that the vehicle was unavailable due to tire replacement, indicating poor maintenance practices. Despite reaching out to Zoomcar for assistance, we were directed to raise a ticket, which unfortunately went unanswered for three days, highlighting a severe lack of customer service.
Interaction with Zoomcar's call center proved equally futile, with agents unable to provide any meaningful assistance beyond stating their inability to help. False claims about the car's availability further eroded trust in the company's integrity, as discrepancies between agent statements and the app's information became apparent.
Technical issues compounded the ordeal, preventing us from extending the rental period, subsequently subjecting us to exorbitant surcharges at triple the hourly rate. Zoomcar's adherence to policies, seemingly crafted to absolve them of accountability, only exacerbated the situation.
The inclusion of a blacklisted FASTag resulted in doubled toll charges at every plaza, further highlighting the company's negligence in ensuring a seamless rental experience. Attempts to address these issues with both the host and Zoomcar were met with evasion of responsibility, leaving us stranded without recourse.
The vehicle's poor mileage, averaging only 10km per liter, added to our dissatisfaction. Despite our grievances, the host remained unresponsive until prompted by our departure from the agreed-upon fuel level. Their reliance on intermediaries further hindered resolution efforts, as neither the host nor their representative offered meaningful assistance.
In conclusion, my inaugural experience with Zoomcar was overwhelmingly negative, leading me to unequivocally advise against patronizing their services to friends and family. The company's disregard for customer satisfaction, coupled with systemic issues and evasive practices, tarnishes their reputation as a reliable car rental aggregator.

Car delivered was very dirty and customer service did not respond on call. But on chat with customer service they assured refund for the additional cleaning expenses. Not only did the whole process waste my time but the reimbursement was never processed and customers service is not responding even on emails.

The person Mr.Madhan who has provided me the car i20 sportz bearing number KA 20 MD 0364 on 11th Jan in Mysore,through zoomcar app booking has looted an extra amount of 11,700 from me for 2 small scratches one on the front bumper and the other underneath the rear door( I am having the photographs of same)..stating he is going to provide me the bills so that I can get the refund as I had opted for car insurance as well during my online booking....but the guy didn't provide me any bill nor answered any of my calls and messages....very disgusting!.....the zoomcar doesn't have any platform to discuss directly with the customers through their application...only a teleprompter comes...vomits the feeded data and goes back..

First things first. Before I wanted to be a host, I had queries which I wanted answered. So I looked for a helpline number. Surprise surprise. Does not exist. Asked me to download the app and chat with them. But to chat, one needs to share all the car details. Why? I’m still inquiring. Why should I share personal information with a company I may not want to do business with? Irrespective, I do it. And then still no help. It’s the worst. As a customer and a host. Don’t go to a business so unethical they cannot even help you. Now, I am trying to delete my account. But cannot. My car is listed without getting any information from zoom. It’s terrible.

Worst service and support. It's fraud company. My car broke down in trip and is in garage from 3 months. And now they are denying to repair because repair expenses is 50k above. Fraud company... They never contacted or replied to any ticket. Tyre and Battery is new, due to this delay it might got damaged already.. Garage also stole original parts of car..
