Your Will Be Done 

I’ve been asked twice now by Trustpilot to edit my original post, as someone has complained it contains the names or personal details of the companies and perpetrators involved, despite the fact that I’ve only obtained these details from responses posted on here by one of the Directors! Despite assurances, claims, and the recent offer to provide a mobile number (which has not actually been provided in case anyone was wondering), all attempts at contact have been unsuccessful. Has anyone actually received a copy of their will at this point, or seen the new elusive website? My concern is that this company and its ‘allegedly underhand’ Directors (who’s names you can find on here simply by looking at the responses to the various posts) have access to and control of private / confidential information, which could have potential legal implications if fraud was intended or is actually involved. In terms of this Companies failure to provide a contractual service, unfortunately I don’t have a copy of their original T&C to reference, however there’s clearly a breach of ‘our’ statutory rights under The Consumer Rights Act 2015. We don’t know how many people are affected by this, how much money is involved, and whether anyone’s information has already been used fraudulently, and as the amount paid by individuals for this service was not that significant, most people probably won’t even bother pursuing it! If, as the previous Director has repeatedly claimed, he still holds everyone’s information, then I suggest that the least he can do to show this is not a scam, is to contact customers and supply them with a copy of their will on request – I for one would be happy at that. We have 6 years from the date of the breach of contract in which to make a claim against these people, however I believe that Data Protection / GDPR breaches may also apply – unfortunately we have no way of knowing how our information is actually being stored and who has access to it! I’d suggest that everyone affected by this make a report to Action Fraud, which is the UK national reporting Centre for fraud / cybercrime, where you should report if you’ve been scammed, defrauded or experience cybercrime in England - Tel: 0300 123 2040 - This will at least highlight the issue to the authorities.

Great idea , it was very easy to write a will .
I'm relieved that I printed one of the wills off before the website went down .
I hope that you manage to sort it out Kevin and it's not just another scam !

Does anybody know how we report this to the authorities? Do we know that our confidential will information is safe given this takedown of the website? A bit concerned now.....

I purchased a joint will in January 2020, all seemed very good, very straight forward and queries delt with quickly.
I needed to amend it in February 2022 only to discover the site is down.
I have emailed three times since then and am still waiting for a reply.

A few members of my family purchased this will service as initially it looked easy to use, available to print off or view on line and was just what we thought we needed. The initial will was purchased in 2017 with subsequent family wills purchased over the following years. Thankfully other family members printed their copies off. I however continued to believe my online version was still available. I have attempted to google support to understand why I no longer have access to my will and the link originally provided is no longer valid to no avail. Whilst googling for two days on and off, I found these reviews/ support on trustpilot. I would very much welcome support in locating my on line will with your company ASAP!

I purchased a will for myself & my partner at £20 each in 2018 from this company. It stated at the time the will's could be edited downloaded & printed at any time & would be stored indefinitely on the Your Will Be Done website.
I used the mobile app on my phone & spent an entire day last week updating my will, having never actually printed it off or completed it previously. When I had finished making all the changes I tried to print it off but found the app would not allow me to do so.
I then went onto my laptop to access the website only to discover the website does not exist any longer! I then found these reviews on Trust Pilot & realised that something was not quite right. I emailed the person who had been responding to these reviews who gave his name as Kevin Watson & initially he responded asking me what had happened when I tried to access the website! I explained it all to him in a return email but to date have had no response to that email.
I resent the email today with a brief query/remark asking for a response, to the same email address I had used originally which I also found on Trust Pilot. The email bounced back immediately stating that the email address does not exist.
Yes its a total rip-off !!

Worried as decided to take things into my own hands as I only have a 16yr old daughter should anything happen to me. Wanted everything simple and easy but after recently telling her what I had written she was devastated and I want to change it but can’t she’s scared if something happens then she has to go by my most recent will and not at all what we talked about and want. :(

I bought this service 2 years ago. It was advertised as a one off payment for a service where you could update your will at any point. That was attractive given that it was likely we would need to update our wills in the years ahead. The website is now offline and therefore no updates can be made. I'd steer clear. P

This was a simple way to write a simple will. After an initial mistake I found it easy to go back and add to the bequests. No appointments with solicitors, no hanging around or chit chat. Simple. All done in about 30 minutes. Bargain.

Paid for checking and no checking was done the company are ripoff merchants.

Why is my account suspended after paying?

Needed something quick and easy before a visit to hospital. Fitted the bill perfectly.

Great job just needed a basic Will this was just the job and great to know I can go back and change it should I need to.

Having taken out a Will last year, I wanted to make amendments to it.
The changes were easy to make with the editing tool, and I was able to have a new updated Will printed and Posted out to myself.
The new Will arrived within a couple of days, in my view Your Will Be Done is amongst the best and easiest to navigate service’s out there, I recommend this Company to anyone thinking of making a Will.

The completing of the form was simple enough, I only hope there will no future problems and the will is completely validated.
According to various reviews the company is tried and trusted.

Excellent and efficient service, we completed our mirror will with our full names and paid via paypal, my paypal account uses a shorter version of my name and this was what appeared on my will, I emailed Your Will Be Done and they corrected it as this is the one part of the will you can't edit, I would thoroughly recommend them as its a low cost fit for purpose product.

Paid for checkin - passed checking but will was still incorrect.

Paid for printing - not with it, arrived on cheapest paper and very wrinkled.

Some technical snags that have been sorted out by Customer Service. Process was relatively easy and documents are everything you want from a Will!
