Can't really fault this company, from our initial phone call enquiry regarding some more detailed measurements of the bed to the final deliver.
We were kept fully informed by either phone call or email of the progress, delivery date etc. ALL the staff we dealt with super friendly and willing to assist with any request. A pleasure to do business with. Many Thanks.

We went to the store to view the options for bed frames. The service was excellent and the advice very helpful. We were kept informed of the status of our order and the frame was delivered on the day promised. The delivery team assembled the bed promptly and I’m busy lying on our comfortable new bed writing this review.

Thank you so much for my fantastic Sophie bed in cream. I am absolutely delighted and feel like a Queen. I literally fell asleep as soon as I got in it and I'm very reluctant to get out! The guys who delivered it are amazing and deserve a medal 🏅 for delivering in that dreadful weather yesterday. I am very happy and really do wish I had got one sooner. You definitely know the difference if you spend a little extra 😍.

I ordered the small double Edward brass bed and it is beautiful! The delivery was within the time window given with a call half an hour beforehand and it was assembled in super quick time. Not only does it look great but I had the best night’s sleep. The service from ordering to a post delivery courtesy call was all great. I would definitely recommend.

I bought the Arthur (Emperor size) and the Elizabeth (Super King size) and both are beautifully made beds that a very comfortable and provide a great night’s sleep. There was a delay on the Arthur as it failed the company’s chrome plating standards and had to be redone but they happily lent me a bed in the interim. Great service form the customer service team and delivery team were excellent too

We bought the Super King Edward bed frame. The build quality is excellent, it exceeded our expectations, the design feels sturdy yet stylish, and we couldn’t be happier with how it completes our bedroom.

The whole customer service was outstanding and It was extremely helpful that the bed frame was delivered as promised and assembled for us in the bedroom.

We’re so impressed that we’re already planning to purchase a double for our spare bedroom in our move to a new home.

An excellent product from a family firm that really looks after their customers.

Just received a reply to my review which was made in July 2024. It did not take me seven months to contact you. The mattress was received in March 2024 and was delivered before the date I was told to expect it. We had the decorator in and so were unable to use the mattress immediately. When I discovered the mattress was the wrong one I telephoned three times and emailed twice before my husband eventually got through to you on the phone. He was told that if we weren’t happy with it after use it could be returned and exchanged for the one originally ordered. This was in April 2024. We did rotate and turn the mattress as suggested - with great difficulty as extremely heavy. When I subsequently contacted you, you refused to exchange the mattress and said that you had no record of the phone conversation with my husband. Strangely 16 months later you seem to have total recall of every detail. I suggest you read your reviews more carefully, reply honestly and respond more promptly.

Very helpful service by dealing directly with the showroom. Excellent quality bed frame, I love it. Slight problem with my base was dealt with promptly with the personal touch which is so rare these days… Would recommend .

Firstly I would say that the bed itself is great. The mattress however is far too soft and not fit for purpose. I wasn't sent the mattress I purchased. I wasn't given a choice to wait for the one that I had ordered. They said it was an upgrade.

Having read their terms and conditions, I knew I had no recourse on the mattress, and accepted that it was my fault for not having tested it. So why am I giving them a 1*?

Months after I had purchased the bed, they emailed asking for feedback, which I gave on the mattress. They then came back and said that they could have helped at the time if I had contacted them then. I went back to clarify that they weren't offering this help now, and the reply I received was:
"Given your feedback and the lack of appreciation of our effort to help — especially since we reached out following your comments — we believe it’s best you source a mattress elsewhere where you can test it in person."

So the 1* is for the appalling response that I received to my feedback. To be clear there was no effort to help.

Having read the other reviews here now, I would not recommend buying a mattress from this company.

I'm very happy with my beautiful new bed. It looks lovely in my bedroom and you can tell the quality is exceptional. Everything, from placing my order to assembly in my home was dealt with efficiently and professionally, but with a personal and friendly attitude.

A small local company with a personal family touch who really care about their Beds, Mattresses and customers. Ordering was easy after I visited the showroom in Swaffham as I was passing. The delivery chaps were very efficient in manoverering the beds upstairs and putting them together. My daughters are absolutely trilled to bits with their wonderful new beds.
By well and buy once is what I go by. I now have a total 3 Kingsize beds and 2 singles!

We have received helpful advice from start to finish. Lovely people to deal with. All in all an excellent company with first class products. The bed and mattress, delivered today are perfect for our needs and look splendid in place. Looking forward to a perfect night’s sleep.

Ordering my bed was easy via the website and I received a confirmation via e-mail promptly, then a delivery week four weeks later was given straight away. The bed was delivered in the week promised. My bed is identical to the website picture and of excellent quality. It looks great in my bedroom and I’m thrilled with it.

We are absolutely thrilled with our Bertie bed. We indulged in the 6" sprung bed base and a Sandringham matress. Looks wonderful and is simply the best and most comfortable bed we have experienced. We received great advice and super service. Would highly recommend.

UPDATE: 30 November 2025

The company’s public response below is incorrect.

They have said “we’re pleased everything has now arrived”. The mattress in question has still not arrived. I have not received the mattress, it has not been delivered, and the issue remains unresolved.

I also dispute the fact that I was “kept updated by email”. The only communication i have received in recent months is Trustpilot’s notification of their response to this review.

Additionally, they say that the item became available after this review was posted — yet they waited almost a year to publish that explanation. This timing does not align with what has actually occurred.

I will gladly update this review if the situation genuinely changes. As of today, however, it has not. (30 November 2025).

I’m still waiting for a mattress that I ordered 11 months ago. I’ve contacted them by phone and by email, and they just keep saying they’ll look into it, and they’ve not replied to my last email. Where is it? Am I ever going to get it? Who knows? I’ll update this review if I ever receive it.

I bought a bed from this company last Summer. I have had a very poor experience with a bed from Sofa.com at a similar price, but this bed has been amazing. I had good communication from the company - I particularly liked the phone call to check the order. I had ordered a mattress from John Lewis which fit perfectly on to the Albert bed frame (a king size). Delivery was well communicated and efficient - I'm a long way away but they were bright and cheerful. After assembly I and my kids were invited to test it out to check there were no squeaks or issues. They also promised to return from Norfolk if any problems occurred. I like the ethos of the company - check out their history and their approach to employment, and overall I couldn't be happier. I really do think this is bedframe to last a lifetime and worth the money.

This company not only gives out misinformation and bad advice when choosing a mattress but, when you end up with one that is wholly unsuitable, they deny everything and simply point you in the direction of their terms and conditions, which state that because it's only a mattress you have purchased, you will only get a refund for 50% of the price you originally paid. If you're not happy with that, they point you in the direction of Trading Standards or Citizens Advice which, of course, they know will be of no use as you have nothing in writing. You really can't trust a word they say. They even tried to make me believe that a pocket sprung mattress on a base of sprung slats would feel much firmer than one placed on fixed slats, yet it's actually the other way round !

I bought a beautiful bed from here but have been struggling for two years to get any action to fix part of the end of the bed which is broken. I’ve had prolonged email exchanges but it remains broken with no plan to assist me despite promises to do so.
