The whole experience from first entering the store in Aintree and meeting Sam (the kitchen design assistant) to the call I have just had from Maxine at customer service has been very positive. Everyone has been so helpful and very friendly. Nothing has been too much trouble.

Wren's kitchen Scam. I ordered a kitchen for £12.5k which was more than I wanted to pay for a tiny 2m squared kitchen. But this included £3.7k installation and I wanted some recourse if the fit was bad. They sent around a "private" kitchen fitter that they had engaged to "assess" the fit. This fitter told me I would need a multitude of work completing and a new electric fuse box. He quoted me £1545 for the "extra" work. That would bring the install total to £5.245k. He dropped hints that I could do the fit privately if I cancelled the Wren fit. I asked for a private fit quote and he came back with £1545 for the work and £1520 for the fit. £3.065k. Sounded appealing to go private given I'd save £2k. Although now Wren would be supply only then and I would have no come back if the fitters made a mess. Also, he said I would have to do all the clean up myself.

So I checked this fitter out. His mobile number was a private number - bit strange for a kitchen fitter?, his company had no digital presence and he could not provide any testimonials from previous work. The guy was not who he said he was. He was a rat.

This is their scam. The "fitter" assessor actually works for Wren. He either will squeeze an extra few thousand out of you for their fit or he will remove Wrens liability for the fit and get you to do all the clean up and removal of your old kitchen yourself. He also said if I go "private" with him could I please arrange the kitchen delivery to come a few days early. Why did he ask this? Basically so that I would not leave my new kitchen units outside in all kind of weather and would, like a sucker, carry all the materials up to the first floor flat myself.

They sent a con-man to my home.
Wren are operating a scam.
Do not trust these rats.
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Contacted Wren because the soft door closure on my cabinet had failed. I was asked to send a photo of the hinge which I did and new closures were sent and arrived within two days. This was excellent service. Wren staff were friendly and efficient and the problem was soon resolved. Thank you to Mia and all staff involved.

David T arrived promptly and called ahead to confirm. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I feel reassured that my project is in good hands.

David T came to measure for wardrobes. Telephone prior to arrival with estimated time, very respectful and completed the job efficiently.

UPDATE: I have just taken delivery of the missing parts, all present and correct. Uplifted, I will edit further pending counter top going in.

Ok so initial experience was fine, kitchen design and store experience great. We ordered a kitchen that needs a very specific part - curved corner posts - for our counter top to then rest on top and then enable fitting of our sink and induction cooker.

Delivery came, box marked "curved posts" was there. My fitter did work and when he opens the box, wrong shaped posts, they are square which means no rounded corners which we paid for and wanted for a few reasons.

We contacted wren, to their credit they accepted their mistake and the need to replace with the correct parts free of charge.

The reason for the 1 star rating is this was over a month ago, there have been 6 failed attempts to deliver replacement parts, most of which were no shows, one was the same mistake AGAIN!

I have asked for a named complaint handler several times, I dont have this and the accountability that brings.

My wife and I are so frustrated and gutted having spent 15 odd grand to not be able to finish.

Every time they mess delivery up we lose another 1 or 2 weeks as counter, sink and cooker cant be fitted till this part is installed, I explained this exhaustively.

I am at a loss, with 2 kids in the house (one with additional needs). Considering my legal and regulatory options, buyer beware as this is just not good enough at all.

Very pleasant chap came to measure the kitchen. We had a lot of tradespeople in and out while he was with us and it all went without a hitch or disruption. When we went to our design appointment the computer generated image of the room based on Dave’s measurements appeared perfectly accurate.

It's such a big thing now to get good customer care, it means so much when people listen, Matheel in the Aintree showroom and Samuel in head office were both brilliant, so helpful and a credit to Wren, if I could give more than ten out of ten I would, thanks to both of you

Everyone at Wren who we have dealt with over our new kitchen has been amazing. From Matt Raynor who designed the kitchen to Dale who organised the rip out of our old kitchen and the plasterers, electricians to Alesha have been a pleasure to deal with.

I would highly recommend Wren kitchens!

Still waiting for my deposit back after nearly 3 weeks.BUT now its not about the deposit I have been lied to yet again .I am taking this further. This is something all customers need to know about this ever so lovely company. They are just a bunch of liars.nice at first then very abrupt. Don't go here.

Great experience from start to finish. Natalie was so helpful with the planning and ordering and the delivery team, Liam and Gareth were friendly and professional, arrived exactly when they said they would. Would definitely recommend Wren for price, quality and service

We initially went for a design appointment back in September just to get an idea of price and colours even though we were quite a long way off ordering a kitchen. We had an appointment with a designer in the Aintree store, the showroom by the way is outstanding, really great store with all the displays you could wish for. We returned to the store today again with the same designer but we had more of an idea what we wanted, we were only buying units from Wren which again they allow you to do, and we had a plan designed privately which we were sending off to numerous companies (as is perfectly acceptable) and he told us when he saw us this was a good looking plan but there was just a few tweaks he would make, Absolutely fine. After an hour we’d made the tweaks which turned out to actually be quite a few and we’d decided on some colours, and two quotes were given. He left us to chat for a few minutes and when I say he came back a totally different person, we didn’t really know what to do. We explained to him we were still after some quotes from other companies and that wren was at the higher end of our budget and he got quite abrupt in saying what other companies didn’t offer that they did. He then asked me who designed our plan? So I told him and how much it cost and his reply was “it’s a crap plan sorry”.

We were totally taken aback and we shook his hand and walked out. He told us earlier in the appointment that he liked to think of himself as a decent designer…that maybe, but I didn’t have him down as a pushy sales person and towards the end he came across very unprofessional. Unfortunately we won’t be using Wren for our new kitchen.

Edited…one week later and no one has got back to me, sums it up really!

Wren Kitchens were great from start to finish with our bedroom furniture order and installation. Kev at the Aintree store was brilliant and helped us with expert knowledge and great approachable service, nothing was too much. The process was seamless. The installation from the wren fitters was fantastic with great finish, we couldn’t be happier with the service. Thanks to the fitter, Ash, who was extremely skilled and finished the job to an excellent standard. Would highly recommend and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we will use their service again. Many thanks!

Ash was great, very tidy and organised and did an amazing job, we absolutely love our wardrobes and would highly recommend him. Lovely guy as well very friendly and worked non stop till the job was done, stayed late as well 5*

They fitted my kitchen in 2027 and I need to replace my integrated under-counter fridge. I've noticed the plug is in the cupboard next to the fridge, which is fine, but they haven't left a hole or space to get the plug through. So, how am I going to get the fridge out and replace it?

Measured our fitted bedroom completely wrong and are absolutely not help as well - left us in a complete disaster for Christmas if I could give them a lower rating I would

Josh and Richard worked well together and the wardrobes were completed in 2 days. I am delighted with the finish the bedrooms look great so thank you we really appreciate your hard work.
