Placed an order for 3 items totalling £141 on the 20th November. Was informed by Hermes there would be a delay so accepted the wait but on following the tracker found that my parcel had been returned to sender. An email from Woolovers informed me that £96.50 had been credited to my C/C with no explanation as to why a partial refund. I sent an email to them questioning this on the 25th November but received no reply so followed up with a telephone call to Customer Services a week later where the advisor told me he would pass my query onto the relevant department. Still no resolution so had to resort to phoning the Complaints Dept. Still got no clear explanation as to what went wrong with my order or delivery problem but got the missing £44.50 credited. Very disappointed not to receive my order but will not be placing any more orders with WoolOvers as the Customer Service and Delivery Service is so poor.

Ordered a cardigan for Christmas in November. So far so good. Told it was on its way and asked for it to be delivered to a local shop. Went to collect as had an email to say it was there and it wasn’t. Rang again, told it was on its way. Then 23rd December rang again as I was getting worried to be told it’s out of stock and had been for some time. What a disgraceful company to do business with. Never again.

Ordered a Christmas present for my wife on 3 December. After a tracking message from Hermes on 13 December nothing more was heard and no parcel arrived. Contacted WoolOvers three times after that and told, on call number 3 (21 December) that replacement items would be sent the following morning. Appalling service by Hermes (see recent national bad publicity) and WoolOvers (attitude of disinterest).

I have ordered placemats and coasters a month before Christmas and the packaging and service was appalling. The packaging was very poor, it ripped due the weight of the placemats which makes my items gone missing. Waited for the missing items and 4 weeks later the items was not received. I will never order anything from them no more. This is the first and the last.

Extremely poor service, I ordered a cardigan, after 2 weeks of no sign I rang them the operator I spoke to couldn’t find the order and told me to ring again as someone else might find it. I did this and after a long wait was told there was a delay in the warehouse and they had no idea when it would be shipped. It arrived after a few days, cardigan was fine until it needed washing (as per care instructions) when it shrunk badly, lost around 3 inches of of sleeve length and now almost unwearable.

Ordered items worth over 200 pounds from this website had an order confirmation but a week later no more contact made to when it was being delivered etc
Had to ring up to cancel and obtain my refund which they did refund in two days .
First time used them and the last .

This review is for the roll neck raglan fairisle stripe jumper which I have returned. The quality of the jumper was poor. Nothing like the Woolovers of old. It seems the prices have gone up but the quality has gone down. And why are most of their garments now made in China. I DO NOT WANT TO BUY KNITWEAR MADE IN CHINA

I bought a Woolovers Cashmire and Merino button cardigan on 14th September, It looked good, was supremely comfortable and beautifully soft wool. It was true to size and I loved it.
After a wool wash exactly as per the instructions the wool felted, the cardigan shrank at least two sizes and was tight where it touched. The back was above my trouser top, the buttons could not be fastened and the sleeves were tight and ended above my wrists.
I am trying to get a refund.
Very disappointed.

no information posted online as to what is happening to your order, it only states that it has been paid for, therefore the customer has a right to know at what stage the order is at regarding delivery to the customer. Poor customer service !

Incredibly disappointed.
I bought a cardigan, loved it so much I bought another just a few months later: same size, different colour.
It just arrived, and a completely different size.
Both labelled L but one definitely one size smaller.
I've taken photos.
And now have to go to the inconvenience of sending it back. Not easy.

Maybe I should have read some of the other reviews before placing my order on Woolovers website?

First of all I had a voucher code for a % off the price which on the face of it worked as it was accepted on the Woolovers website. I went off to Pay Pal and paid but when the confirming email came back it had charged me full price. Sneaky!I contacted Woolovers (very quick response on the phone - no complaints from me there) and this was dealt with well as I was refunded the difference.

But my order didn't arrive in the advertised 3-5 days and I heard nothing further from Woolovers. 10 days later I got my credit card statement and the transaction appeared on there so I had to pay it. Contacted Woolovers again (quick response again - top marks to Woolovers telephone staff) to find out where it was. It seems that, AFTER I had made my order a note had been put on the website that it wasn't going to be available until the end of September. Sneaky!

Firstly, I take issue with companies that take your money when the goods aren't yet available. Secondly, why didn't they email me to tell me this new information? Why was I forced to seek it out myself? I still don't have the garment. Watch this space.

Very poor washability. As long as you’re a dirty cow who never washes anything you’re all set. I grew up with hand knots and know how to carefully hand wash knitted garments using tepid water and a wool mix to gently squeeze the garment and then dry flat… Forget that with Woolovers, it’ll be warped anyway. There isn’t enough fibre in the threads and it’s obviously treated with huge amounts of fillers to make it appear nice until you wash out the first time. NEVER AGAIN!!

I prefer the wool , and styling makes them unique.

And missing a trick in sales!
I was ready to buy a cardigan featured in an offer advertisement, but a blouse was also featured in the illustration (not included in the special offer, but which I would also have bought. I phoned to ask if it was indeed a Woolovers product which I could buy, but was told that there was NO way that they could identify it unless I could provide THEM with a code - not shown in the ad!
VERY unhelpful to the point of being obstructive.
Missing a trick in marketing terms . . . and a loss of not one but 2 sales. Needless to say, thus irritated I abandoned the idea of purchasing the cardigan - and may likely not bother with Woolovers again!

Foreign product.

This has not been resolved yet but I ordered a jumper that was in stock, says delivery date is 5-7 days. When actually checking the order it says it will only be dispatched on July 31. It now June 16 so about 6 weeks time. It’s winter here and I would like it ASAP. So annoying!!

I really like Woolovers products. BUT trying to negotiate their website is an absolute nightmare! Whoever designed it is doing Woolovers Australia a huge disfavour. All I want to do is bring up the photos and details of jumpers. The website is ugly and way too difficult to navigate. I simply cannot buy anything from them using this appalling website.

I BOUGHT A WOOL JUMPER AT THE END OF APRIL THIS YEAR , I WASHED IT ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT IT DID NOT WASH THAT WELL AT ALL,I SENT IT BACK AND THEY SAID I HAD WASHED IT WRONG , BLOODY HELL HOW DARE THEY

Having bought a half zip sweatshirt, it shrunk. I had followed the wash instructions but was told I could not send it back as it had been washed. Apparently my 800speed spin was the probably said the customer service - you should have only spun at 600 (not specified on the label!). Unfortunately I already had another colour on order along with 3 other items. The sweatshirt hadn’t arrived but the other garments had. I used the return label purchased with this order but a month later the sweatshirt arrived but no returns label. On calling to ask for help the person at the other end of the phone was curt and very rude. I said her tone was abrupt and she continued to be very rude. When I asked to talk to someone else she hung up on me. I certainly won’t be using woolovers again.

Product was decent, nothing special.
Unfortunately, the product support was abysmal.... I wanted to exchange my size for one smaller and reached out to support on the 23rd March 2021 (well within the 14 day return period). Its almost been a month later as I type this, more than enough time for support to reach out, however there is still no response.
I certainly wont be shopping at this place again, and don't bother with trusting their return policy.
