My Merino/Cashmere V neck jumper size L color French Fuchsia arrived after a couple of weeks. The color was not as bright as shown. The quality is very good and it isn’t scratchy. The L was too large so I contacted the Company by phone; and they were very friendly, and helpful.

So I ordered a pair of mugs from woolovers and one arrived broken , I e mailed and was told I needed to send a picture and they would get on to their supplier- I heard nothing so I rang, they said they needed a picture, I explained had already sent one but would send again , I had an e mail thanking me for pic and they would get back to me - it’s now march 2023 and despite a further 2 e mails saying I haven’t heard , no one has replied , contacted me or issued a refund for broken mug! Terrible service. I am also disappointed by the quality of the jumpers, I have purchased 3-4 in the last 2 years and every one has very badly pilled- I then also realised they were made in china! I assumed ( wrongly) for the price( not cheap ) they were British! So disappointed and will not use woolovers again.
Their so-called Aran sweater..not fit for purpose
Having worn the sweater no more than 6 times the stitchingbaround the collar frayed. I was our of warranty!
The customer service attitude was unsypmatheic I wrote snail mail to their CEO MIKE LESTER who ignored the letter

Fantastic service , the thick lambs wool sweater is so soft and warm I just love it. Well made doesn’t pill very much will definitely be buying again
I bought one of your jumpers
I bought one of your jumpers, merino wool/cashmere with pearl buttons on the front. It was of very poor quality. After 3 times of wearing, 2 pearl buttons came away and are now lost. Also there is pilling on the sleeves and sides of said jumper. I think a refund is in order. I thought I was buying British, instead received Chinese rubbish. I would not recommend your firm under any circumstances.

Awful experience and customer service…
Awful experience and customer service to match! Placed my order and didn’t hear anything for over a week then phoned and spoke to a lady who said she’d get back to me so when nobody did I phoned in to cancel the order. This company uses Evri, with whom I have two items that are over two weeks outstanding. When I was given no reason for having heard nothing I was then offered Royal Mail shipping to which I said I would like next day guaranteed delivery and was told they couldn’t do that. So, I cancelled my order and will be leaving the same review online. Beware of both this company and Evri delivery service!
Woolovers - a great company
I have ordered from Woolovers several times. Each time, the whole process has been smooth. I love that they send the items in compostable bags, inside a sturdy brown paper bag - all much better fir the environment. Sustainability is really important to Woolovers, hence they use natural and sustainable fabrics and yarns wherever possible.
Want UK made item not Chinese.
I have purchased many times when items made in the UK. Jumpers now from China and the quality is far poorer and inconsistent sizing. Not again, I'll purchase from UK.

Beware postage and returns costs - read reviews!
Ordered a jumper using their sizing guideline - it is huge. Then discovered that not only do you pay for postage you also pay for returns which is not clear on ordering. You can at time of order opt for a £1.99 postage return label - again not clear. So, I have now wasted money on this item. Very unhelpful and inflexible customer “service”. An exchange would mean spending additional postage and possible return as well. Wish I’d read reviews before ordering. Will never order from this company again

I purchased 3 new jumpers and 1 cardigan this past season from Woolovers. All 4 have gone in the bin. I washed at 30 degrees and all shrunk terribly, went pilly, and were unwearable. They were not cheap and a total waste of money. I will stick to my merino wool jumpers that last several seasons and still look good in the future.

I purchased 1 thing from woolovers.com and have called them on numerous occasions to ask them to stop sending me catalogues to no avail, now getting them more frequent.
Lambswool crew neck cardigan
I have had some excellent items from Woolovers. However my recent purchase of Lambswool crew neck cardigan is disappointing. Colour very good, size good but the yarn used is very thin. I will not be warm enough for a cold day and is very different to the previous one (same style) that I had.
I think that Woolovers is now selling too many things and is not taking care with the things it is well known for.
Limited stock has made me look elsewhere, unfortunately.
I have tried to order a pure lambswool jumper in an XL in a specific colour for almost 6 months; I was told they were discontinued, although I couldn't see them in the clearance section! Now I don't know what the process is with WoolOvers, do they just make a certain amount a season and that's it, or is it because they are made in China and workers are scarce. Unfortunately, I have had to look elsewhere. Shame
I ordered an item on 26 July
I ordered an item on 26 July. Received notification from Evri (useless courier) they had my parcel. On 2 August they couldn’t deliver my parcel but would notify me the next day. Phoned Woolovers full of apologies, nothing. Phoned next day, nothing. Phoned today to be told parcel on way back to Woolovers. Told them to keep it and wouldn’t order anymore unless change of courier. Very disappointed.
Dissatisfied service
I placed an order 19th May for 3 items. After 2 weeks not received. When queried was sent new order no email with 2 items on it. Rang up (call centre) told 1item unavailable would get refund. Still not received the other 2 items. After several emails have just got refund - 1 month after money taken. However not received the other 2 items. Had no response from email sent 4 days ago. Service diabolical- will never use them again.
Bobbly Guernsey
My Stepson bought me a Woolovers Guernsey and after 2 months it has gone all bobbly and matted. It has not been washed. Woolovers have not responded to my complaint
Inaccurate sizing
The sizing chart for these jumpers is totally inaccurate. The jumper i ordered was the size of a tent. I would have returned however the quoted time is 20 days to process it, so its not worth it. No response from customer service, Total waste of money.

Following instructions wool wash at 30, one is so small it would fit a large Teddy Bear, and one is all bobbled. I could not recommend this company. The prices led me to think I was buying a quality product but my M&S jumpers wash better and are far far better buy. Beware!
