I bought a dress, having seen their ad, but when it (finally) arrived, it was a good 3" shorter than shown on the model, meaning it stopped above my knees - and I'm a good 3-4" shorter than the model.
I rang them up and was told this had happened before but I could send it back and they'd send a replacement. But when the replacement came, it was just as short.
I wrote to them and told them, and asked them if they'd be in touch about another replacement. Never got a reply.
My advice is to steer clear of this company.

I have purchased items previously from Woolovers and been totally satisfied. One jumper, mohair/cashmere, is still wearing well after a few years and much use. I recently bought four jumpers - one pilled badly after being worn only three or four times, a silk/cotton polo neck looks old and worn after not many washes, a pink lambswool polo neck washed well by hand but was much tighter after washing (instructions for below 40 deg.) washed at 30deg. as did a grey/orange woollen jumper washed at correct temperature, loose-fitting now shorter and tight around the arms. I really liked all the jumpers so always washed carefully, at first by hand even though all machine washable. Woolovers service is excellent with a wide choice of styles and colours, but now wondering if I will risk buying their clothes in future.

Customer service dreadful I’m trying to get info on returning a jumper that is so itchy but no one bothers replying to my emails. Will be reluctant to order again. Very expensive mistake

Bought a sweatshirt recently, when it arrived it was totally different colour than shown in the photo on their website, emailed but had no response, so called & explained and said could they sent me a free returns label as it wasn't my fault that the colour was misrepresented, but they refused. Very short sighted as I won't buy from them again.

Had four very good Guernsey sweaters but not happy that they are made in China as their website does not mention this and on a casual reading would suggest they are made in England.

I got two jumpers for Christmas. I’m afraid the quality is poor and the wool bobbles after a few wears. I’m not a big fan of stuff made in China either, and the source of the jumpers is buried in tiny writing at the base of the label stitched into the seam. I would not recommend this brand based on my recent experience.

Bought two jumpers, one lambswool and one merino. Beautiful at first sight, but the merino one has shrunk from size 14 to about size 8. The label said machine washable at 30 degrees and I used a cold wash. It is unwearable. The lambswool has shrunk a little on each of three washes from a generous fit to slightly tight. Pity - I really liked them!

I have always loved Woolovers. I have lots. Up until now my favourite has been the cableknit coatagan. So warm, so adaptable. Then this year I found the merino wool plum dress. It is shown with a necklace & decided to buy that too. I am so glad I did! I feel $1 million in it! I am size 18 5’6 and the large is perfect. It is so wearable! For any occasion but I call it my lockdown dress. Instead of wondering about in trousers I wear my dress. It makes me feel so good when I go on zoom and even to answer the door for the postman I know I look good all the time! I just wish they made it in other colours. I love the plum but would buy other colours too if they had them.
I really recommend this dress with boots it’s great, with heels it’s great, and even with slipper socks it’s great.
Keep your eyes open for it!

Woolovers have changed their yarn. I just washed a 12 year old cardigan and a recently bought sweater, both cashmere/merino. The new one is covered in bobbles, the 12 year old cardigan has none. I won't buy any more from Woolovers.

Ordered 2 supposedly Aran 100% wool jumpers. They arrived.. " They are not Wool at all ! Company have copied another website that sell these items which are 100% Aran wool ! I will report Woo lovers ltd for selling false items to its clients. I am awaiting a response.

I bought a pair of Womens Cashmere & Merino Luxe Lounge Joggers in size small on the UK site. They looked hideous on. The fabric is high quality, the construction is good but the design is appalling. So baggy around the tummy, bottom and thighs then narrow at the calves and ankles. I maybe old but why make yourself look gross. It is not possible to leave a review on their site. I also bought a Marino wool cardigan that I kept that is just passable, but completely shapeless and would need an hour glass figure to make it look alright. Such beautiful yarn, such abysmal design.

Bought 2 jumpers for my wife. They were supposed to be medium but both the sleeves and body were exceptionally long. Now I want to return the jumpers and I have to pay to return!
Called customer services and they said it’s company policy for customers to pay for returns. The manager was too busy to talk to me or return my calls. Won’t be doing any further business with Woolovers!

I'm disappointed with Woolovers "Lambswool Zip Thru Cardigan".

The wool is Coarse and Scratcy (even after a few wash). And pilles started to appear (a lot of them)!

I bought Dark Grey colour and it looks old and dull.

Woolovers price tag is also expensive with a bad quality.

I won't be buying from Woolovers again.

Awful quality, and made a complaint which was never answered. Avoid.

Just bought my hubby 2x more zippy wool cardigans, as usual they are superb quality!
Love the fit in all the right places, love the marl brown & grey. Keep it up Woolovers!
Please make more stripey or flowery cashmere/merino cardigans for women. I have 15 cardigans from Woolovers, my husband now has 5.

Rubbish merino jumper,wash and shrunk,unable to wear it again

Their sizing is totally incorrect. Ordered two jumpers for my husband and son and they were so big it is laughable (and, yes, we did consult their useless sizing charts). Guess what?! The return postage needs to be paid by me, the customer, despite their incorrect sizing! Oh, and they don't exchange. You need to return the goods by post (expensive!!), get a refund and then reorder!!! Their track record in regard to customer service (based on what I've read online) is not good at all and this has been my frustrating experience as well with poor customer service via emails to the UK (no one in Australia I can speak to), slow to refund, items going missing etc.,

Just received my first order - an oatmeal cable wool crewneck for me - ladies L. The sleeves were 4" too long and the body about 6" too long. The sweater is beautiful, hefty and well made, but I can't wear it. It fits my husband who is 6' and 185 lbs perfectly,
so I'll keep it for him.

Very good customer service and quick responses.

My two jumpers from woolovers after a couple wears went bobbly and in less than 1 year unfit to wear. And I only wore them ocasionally and took them off as soon as I got home....So disappointing.

Vivo en Ecuador y todavia estoy esperando la llegado del producto. El servicio al cliente es muy malo. Hay que mandar un monton de emails antes esperar que respondan. La primera vez, me dijeron que iban a mandar un producto de remplazo y me pedian de confirmar una dirección de envio. Esta dirección era completamente equivocada y no contestaron a los emails que les mande. La segunda respuesta de ellos fue que al final se consideraron como no responsable en el no llegar del producto y mandaron a quejarse a la empresa encarcada del envio.No les aconsejo de comprar productos por esta empresa.
