Installation. On time, team polite, completed job well. dealt with small changes and cleaned up site well. Very pleasing from order to completion. Very satisfied.

Paid £17500 for bespoke greenhouse including 1100 for the gothic doors. The ‘gothic’ effect is simply some shapes cut out with a fret saw and stuck on the glass with double sided tape - not very professional. The wood used was sopping wet, so as it dried out, it shrank, warped, and the double sided tape failed. 8mm gaps opened up. We complained for 3 months and eventually got a response when fitters were (supposedly) sent to resolve it. They agreed the gothic sections needed re-making and replacing. Since then, another 2 months have passed and we get no response to emails or calls. Basically, Woodpecker have gone to ground. My wife wrote to our contact there threatening legal action, and copied 2 directors. No response - not a whimper - nada. The staging supplied was simple stained softwood (don’t expect cedar) which was also sopping wet and took a month to dry out - whereupon it fell apart and needed to be repaired. It won’t last and we’ll replace. Overall, it does look lovely, and the construction principles are good. The roof glazing is aluminium capping, so maintenance free. Glass is all toughened. No leaks. Absent the door issue, we’d be very happy, but the customer service absolutely sucks. Maybe that’s the individual that they have at front of house and not a reflection of the whole company. We offered to have our joiner sort it if they refunded the cost of the door option - no response. Bottom line - ok if it’s all in order but a nightmare if you have any issues. A local joiner would have done better quality for not much more ££
Update: following this review, Woodpecker contacted us and resolved the issue - collecting the doors and returning a few days later. They used a different wood (iroko?) which should perform better in changeable conditions. I have updated the rating from. 1 to a 4. Perhaps my advice is to avoid the Gothic doors - the base greenhouse and original install were good.

The greenhouse Woodpecker just installed is absolutely brilliant it could not be better. The greenhouse looks fantastic in the back garden, its cedar frame and dark grey features are outstanding. It is really well made. The installation was extremely efficient. The ordering process from the start, at the Hampton Court Garden show, to finish was very efficient and the delivery and installation was made on the day originally stated.

I am delighted with my new greenhouse. From first contacting Woodpecker Joinery everyone was helpful and kept in touch throughout. It looks very good quality and a fair price. Guy and Martin dealt with the problem of poor access to my home competently and cheerfully, they did a good job assembling and making sure I was happy with result.

Very happy with our Greenhouse. Woodpecker sent out detailed instructions on preparing the base, tried to get us an earlier fitting, always kept us posted and the team that turned up did a very professional job. Recommended and would use again.

I am delighted with my woodpecker joinery greenhouse. It took some toing and froing with sizing etc but we got there in the end and the team who put it up were efficient competent and good to have around.
It went up just before the snow here so I was able to protect some delicate plants.

Great experience from start to finish. Went to the showroom to have a look and it was great to see the range of greenhouses. I chose the Accoya Greenhouse. Had a base built and no problems at all and the instructions were very clear. The company stayed in touch while we had the base prepared. Once we were ready they delivered the greenhouse. Lovely guys who put it up and it looks fantastic. The price is excellent for the quality of the product.

The service from start to finish has been great. The greenhouse was well worth the wait as it's beautifully made and will provide the perfect place to grow my plants. The installation was professional and timely. The team in the office kept me informed. I love it!

Very helpful staff. Always easy to contact the relevant person. A couple of minor errors in the final construction were quickly and cheerfully rectified. Result, - a beautiful solid greenhouse. Canadian ceder incidentally, smells amazing - not that that will last I suppose.

The coldframe that I recieved on Tuesday is absolutely pristine. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is perfect! I purchased a 5 by 2 Cedar Coldframe and it looks great in my garden!

I spoke with Adam about having a lean too and he sent Tom round to get the required measurements and specifications I wanted. Communication was great, Adam kept me in the loop with what was happening and if I was happy with what they had drawn up.

Craig and his lads did a fantastic job. They worked really hard all day practically non stop doing a very good professional job assembling the building.

Everyone was nice, polite and very helpful thought out the hole process. It’s a beautifully made lean too that fit just perfectly in place. Does the job fantastically. I am extremely pleased with it and looking forward to using it.

I bought an 8 by 3 cedar coldframe a few months ago and it finally arrived yesterday!! I was so excited. The lads who built my coldframe were very polite and efficient. It was in pristine condition, I can’t wait to grow my lettuce in it. Thanks woodpeckers!

I ordered a tall cold frame 6x6x2. The two lads that came and delivered it was nice and polite. I showed them where I would like it to go and they soon got it up and in place. They even gave the glass a quick wipe when they had finished. It looks beautiful and well made. I can’t wait now for the weekend to get my pots in ready. Thank you so much.

Thank you for a wonderful service, I would like to pass my praises onto Adam, He is extremely polite and answered my questions straight away. It made a very big difference when Adam went the extra mile to help me with the issues i was having with my base. I will definitely be ordering another greenhouse once have cleared the next area

I had my greenhouse installed in June 2022. It was delivered and erected by their experts with staging that was 2 foot short!! Two panes of glass had not been put on the delivery van and Large white marks over some of the glass panels and left in a disgusting state inside … I was devastated! I contacted them immediately and an action plan was put in place. 10 days later and lots of phone calls to Adam to include a conversation on compensation the green house was completed. Since then I have been in email communication with Adam who originally mentioned compensation with an offer of cedar trays or £100 discount towards the cost of their basic water butt …I responded asking for the water butt in total as it equated to 10% of the original purchase price considering all my time and disappointment that I had suffered and the fact that what appeared to be a no nonsense quality product had turned into a long nightmare! I have emailed Adam on numerous occasions in September…no response…and in October… no response… my last one saying I thought it was RUDE not to respond! They are an English company which I like to support local/Uk… but unfortunately I would not recommend them especially as we were asked to pay in full before the fitters left our driveway with an incomplete greenhouse.

BUYERS BE AWARE. Woodpecker joinery claim to have a 10 year structural guarantee but will do everything to ignore this. I purchased the Stramshall greenhouse 7-8 years ago and have had much pleasure of using it during this time. This summer however one glass pane on the roof came loose and fell on the floor. Luckily the pane bounced on a box ball underneath and is intact. This is however both dangerous to have potential glass falling off the roof and a complete failing in the structure of the green house, not something related to wear and tear. I now have a gaping hole in the roof, temporarily covered in plastic, with winter looming.
During the last two months I have contacted the company 4 times to get this resolved but my emails and calls were initially completely ignored and during the last call I was told my problem with a missing pane in the roof is not covered in the guarantee - 'if there was a manufacturing issue, it would have shown earlier'. This is incredibly disappointing and appauling customer service. They provide a good product but wash their hands if anything goes wrong a few years down the line. This is not what you expect from a company of this size.
In the last call, still offering no apology to me as a customer, the customer service representative offered a visit to sort this out but with a charge of £50. This is just not good enough!
