Wickes refuse to accept liability for a botched repair to the toilet which they authorised under the 2 year bathroom installation warranty. The toilet is leaking again three years later. Now, using an endoscope (camera) we can see that the leaking seal was patched over with resin. At the time we assumed the repair had been done properly. They have dismissed our claim on the grounds that it is out of warranty. Very convenient for Wickes. No doubt many installation faults manifest themselves years later after the incompetent sub contractors have long gone. Next time I will get a locally recommended tradesman rather than a company which relies on sub-contractors. Wickes should take responsibility for shoddy repairs.

We went for a design appointment with anna, she was excellent. She was able to design our perfect kitchen and give really useful recommendations, the whole process was really smooth and we cant thank her enough for time and help during the whole process.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Customer Service – Fateha Is an Absolute Credit to the Company!

I visited the store today to pick up a few odds and sods for a home DIY project I’m currently working on. As is often the case with these projects, I had a list of bits and pieces I needed, but I was struggling to locate certain items around the store.

Thankfully, I had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by a wonderful member of staff named Fateha, and I genuinely cannot praise her highly enough!

From the moment she began helping me, her friendliness, professionalism, patience and willingness to go the extra mile were nothing short of exceptional. She didn't simply point me in the right direction and leave me to it; she genuinely went above and beyond to make sure I received the help I needed.

What impressed me most was her attitude. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and she made me feel like a valued customer rather than just another person walking through the doors. Her kindness, enthusiasm and dedication to providing outstanding customer service were truly refreshing.

In a world where excellent customer service can sometimes feel like a thing of the past, Fateha is a shining example of how it should be done.

I was genuinely astonished by the level of service I received, so much so that I felt compelled to take time out of my day to write this review. I don't often feel the need to leave reviews about individual members of staff, but on this occasion, I simply couldn't let such an exceptional experience go unrecognised.

To the management team: please ensure Fateha receives the recognition she thoroughly deserves. Employees like her are an absolute asset to any business, and her approach to customer service is something that should be celebrated and encouraged.

Fateha, if you happen to read this, thank you once again for your kindness, patience and exceptional assistance today. You made what could have been a frustrating shopping trip into an incredibly positive experience.

An absolute credit to the store, a fantastic ambassador for the company, and a genuine example of five-star customer service!

We had a great experience at the thetford branch. We were helped by Harry Lawrence, who designed the utility and kitchen to our specifications. We now have a plan for 2 rooms to be refitted in the near future.

Very helpful staff getting our guttering products because the outside door was broken thank you HasonT and Reuben.

Just been here to hopefully get a quote for our new kitchen. The guy on the kitchen department just sat on his phone, completely un approachable, didn’t bother asking for help and just left.

Wickes designed my bathroom and did a fantastic job. Simon Gilbert in the Ealing branch did a fantastic job and was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Deliveries all went smoothly and any issues (however minor) were dealt with very effectively - would high recommend

Delivery service from Wickes transitional web store was worse than useless. Three of the items on my last order came from their transitional web store, each item came on a different vehicle on a different day and all were left at the end of the driveway, twenty metres from the house with zero notification that they had arrived. Last item, a box of 200 screws was left on top of the garden gate, the box crushed flat inside a padded envelope rendering the box completely useless. I emailed Wickes customer services expressing my disappointment, attaching a photo of the damaged package and requesting a refund. No reply. I then phoned customer services and spoke to the most unhelpful person imaginable who told me that there would be a charge for collecting the item and I should return it to my local store. I will, in future, cancel any delivery from Wickes that does not come from my local store.

If minus stars could be awarded this would be ideal for this situation.
We foolishly allowed Wickes to carry out our kitchen project they assigned the fitter Ian Smith to do the job he said the work would take 7 to 10 days and could he begin on the 1st of September which he did.
What followed was a complete catalogue of disaster with job delays, not turning up with various excuses and general shoddy workmanship finally ,he just walked off the job citing a back injury.
Contacting Wickes has proven to be worst than useless basically no-one is interested emailing, countless phone calls all have been met with general disinterest and uncooperative responses.
It is outrageous behaviour which really needs to be brought to task we are left with an unfinished kitchen which is in a complete mess I am enraged and heartbroken .
Enough is enough the next step is legal action.

Utterly rubbish customer service. Have delivered half of our kitchen, customer experience team don’t seem to care or be proactive to resolve issues. Never purchase a kitchen from Wickes unless you want it half completed and like to wait for support that never seems to come.

FYI Andrew- you said that someone would investigate my previous review left 4 days ago - low and behold no one at Wickes has done anything!

Mike in the store helped us carry 5 bags of 25kgs of cement! I was with my mum and it was just so nice to have a kind human help us. Absolute above and beyond.

Living nightmare , ordered our Wickes bathroom from the Stockton branch Durham and unfortunately our bathroom wasn't measured up right we are still in the fitting process and it has been delayed, issues were , 4 boxes short of tiles for one wall and the wall wasn't measured up right so the shower board past the shower tray there is a 45mm gap , I have raised the issues but basically they don't want to know about the gap , the bathroom fitter actually told the designer how he had miscalculated the quantity of tiles for the wall , so after more phone calls and emails than I can remember and a conversation with the installation manager who knows about the delays and the gap at the bottom of the shower board instead of the clean lines we were promised by the designer with the 3D brochure. So we are pensioners without a functioning bathroom having to lift heavy buckets of water to flush the loo which is difficult for my wife who has fibromyalgia and very often has pain in her hands and we feel abandoned as customers feeling pressured that we have to except a second rate bathroom because the calculations were so wrong , so I am stressed , disillusioned, disappointed and I think the phrase is never again and I thought Wickes were a trusted brand , our nightmare isn't over yet but I wanted to share my experience with you all and I will hopefully update this review at a later stage.Update , our bathroom fitter came up with a compromise for our bathroom to get rid of the gap , it isn't our first choice bathroom but to be honest we are both exhausted and totally fed up with the whole saga , so we go on a long haul holiday on the 11th November and our bathroom still won't be finished or functional for us to use and today just to add to our horrendous experience the siphon on the new toilet would not seal so water was leaking into the bowl , so I rang the Stockton store and my message was coveyed to the bathroom design team that we needed a new part for the toilet and I was promised they would let me know what's going on I didn't receive any call back the customer service is appalling.

Costas Christou at Wickes Hertford was highly experienced and most helpful. He measured up and walked me though my options for a new bathroom, even generating a vitual picture of what the new bathroom would look like. Proposal he put together was within my budget and within a reasonable time span. Excellent customer Service

Ordered cabinet handles for next day delivery. Next day rec'd phone call from Wickes explaining our delivery had missed cut off point with courier and delivery could not be made. Manager at Folkestone branch tried to get courier to confirm early morning delivery next day, but courier could not do this. We needed goods as we had a house viewing booked. Manager delivered goods to us himself next day at 7.30am to make sure we had goods on time. In this day and age that is service over and beyond. Well done Wickes.
