Pam was a great help sourcing the right type of paint and promptly helping to unload stock so I could get the paints I required. Exceptional customer service

We had a terrible experience with our bathroom fitting last year, products kept arriving faulty and then replacements were also faulty. They would say they're sending them and they wouldn't arrive so we would waste weekend days waiting in for things that never arrived. Customer care support was terrible and they really didn't care about the customer until they got to a stage where they would likely incur costs for being so late. It took 4 months to complete our bathroom and the product quality is terrible - the bath panel is really poor. It was a nightmare for the contractor to fit and is already pulling away.

My personal opinion is that you should avoid Wickes at all costs, we will never them for a bathroom or kitchen ever again.

Whilst I was shopping and I needed some advice, a gentleman served me called Mo he was very helpful and gave me lots of information

John and Karl were super helpful today. Karl got me a bag of heavy sharp sand that John recommended for drainage option in my pots.

Friendly too.

Visited the Roundhay branch today and was served by Karl. I bought 2 outdoor planters which were extremely good value and Karl couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful - a true asset to the store

Karl is an amazing, knowledgable individual, who can solve your problems.

I am not a professional tradesmen and I went to Karl with a problem of how do I paint a certain area to achieve a desired finish

He helped me with strong clear to follow instructions, he gave me confidence in myself and spoke in a manner which gave confidence in him

Would recommend, he is fantastic and a gem

I’ve had consistently great experiences at Wickes a lot of it due to Karl, one of the managers. He is always incredibly helpful, approachable, and goes out of his way to make sure everything runs smoothly. His friendly and positive attitude really stands out and makes a big difference when you’re shopping or need advice.

It’s clear he genuinely cares about customers and takes pride in providing excellent service. Nothing ever seems like too much trouble for him, and he always makes you feel welcome and valued!

Poor customer service. No idea, when will I get the kitchen design!

Honestly the worst company I have ever dealt with.
1. I was not made aware at the point of sale that the price quoted did not include the tiles for the floor and walls or the decorating.
2. My installer didn't turn up on the first day, did half a day on the Tuesday, full day Wednesday and half day Friday and Saturday. The work was clearly rushed and I have been chasing for it to be resolved ever since.
3. I had to get the installer back out as the showers screen was leaking (and still is) the ceiling panels were filthy, the bath wasn't fitted properly, the extractor fan didn't work, the skirting boards and other woodwork had not been sealed and the sink was cracked.
4. He came round and fixed the bath and sink and caulked the top of the skirtingboards which are now sticky and dust is stuck all over it. When I asked why it was sticky he said it needed painting....
5. I'm still not happy with the finish of the bathroom. It looks grubby and I have been in a constant battle since December to have this fixed.
6. I am being passed between the installer, the customer service team and my original salesperson, all of which are not prepared to help.
7. It seems the snagging issues are my responsibility as they are classed as decorating and not included in the quote. If only I could add pictures to this review so people could see the state it has been left in.
8. I have had several emails chasing me for a response yet it is me that is waiting for a response. Seems the 3 individuals are not in contact with each other and I am having to be the go between but yet being chased by the others for a response (of which I am yet to receive from the others)

I would never use this company again. Avoid at all costs.

I attended for my appointment but the person I was to talk to had not attended work due to a broken down car.

Can't speak highly enough of this man.
The rest of the staff are brilliant too

Use wicks all the time the staff are really friendly and welcoming Karl is always there to help with a welcoming smile always recommend wicks to customers fantastic staff

Went into the store to describe an issue with an oven bought as part of a complete kitchen. Krystina was fabulous, gathered all of the relevant details and will investigate further
