I paid in full to a firm in Whitby, in January , then I got a message from a shop in Ashbourne saying thanks for the order it will be delivered to us on 04.04.25 and then posted out. I didn't expect any delay as this was not mentioned when ordered. This was a wedding ring and as I had ordered it well in advance ,I was annoyed but decided to wait til April. The date came and went no ring no correspondence. I contacted them and was told oh sorry it didn't arrive it will be another 2 weeks. 3 weeks later I contacted them again and said send me the ring or refund as this is not a service. I was told oh sorry its completely our fault no one has chased it up. I eventually received the ring 4 months,, yes 4 months after ordering and me contacting them 4 times . You would have thought after such a poor service an apology and discount would be offered but no nothing.

The item would be a 5* item, however the service has been very poor. I ordered a bracelet for a friends' birthday in Janauary, it was in a large size, which after looking at a number of sites I knew was in short supply. Hamonds were showing stock and accepted the order (and payment). It then appeared they were struggling to source and supply the item. It took 5 months for the item to be delivered. The only communication I received was when I contacted Hamonds for an update - I have to say they did always reply.

Very quick postage efficient, items are just as described lady they were purchased for was very happy

We received our package in a timely manner. Updates were supplied. We were very pleased with the products and presentation when we received our order. I have used this company a few times in the past and have always been happy with the service and products.

Still waiting for a refund on an item that was sent to their returns team on the 16 May. Was advised that a refund can take up to 14 working days, which in this day and age is really not acceptable. Sent an email enquiring about the refund yesterday but no response yet.

I would be interested in understanding why it takes so long to process a refund! This is the slowest I have experienced anywhere for some time!

The Clogau ring was good, only issue was showing product in stock but then took 3 weeks to come. Called and was told that the last one in stock was substandard so they had to order another one

Great company always kept me up to date with my order and also value for money. Thank you Aaron for personally cared for the ring and making sure it was packed right for delivery

Bad experience. Bad delivery time, not even got all my money back

I ordered a Georg Jensen bangle which was not suitable from W Hamond .I was advised on the phone to return the item to CW Sellers( the same company but at a different location)as the "refund would be issued more quickly".I followed this advice.I returned the item on May 9th 2025.It was registered as being received on May 12th,2025 .
I am still awaiting my refund.
Very poor customer service all round .
Other Yorkshire based jewellers such as Berry's Jewellers in Leeds offer an exemplary service in comparison to the sub standard service from W Hamond and C W Sellers.

The refund was indeed issued on May 29th because I phoned W Hamond, to request this was issued immediately,this initiated the refund ...had I not taken this action I am sure I would still be waiting.Anyway it's now completed ,thankfully I do not have to interact with this jewellers again .

The site is easy accessible and I found the prices affordable. My item purchased is for a birthday present and I am very pleased with it. I do feel though that the photos do not always show its true size.

What an awful embarrassing and annoying experience I have been having with these guys
Placed an order to gift my husband for a watch to gift him for his 40th birthday which was so special.
I have been chasing the order for past 2 months but in vain.
The order was supposed to come on 28th April, I had no update about delivery.Unless I emailed them they didn't bother to tell me that the order is delayed by 1 month.Now it will arrive on May 28th.I wanted to check this time,I emailed them on 22nd for an update,even now they haven't replied until today.I told them to cancel the order I feel this is a hoax website or why are they even not responding to emails?
There is no provision to track the order too.

Over £500 off of the watch I ordered, an absolute bargain! Watch was sent in superior shop branded packaging, and that alone, demonstrates the calibre of this business, the attention to detail and how highly they value their customers. Will not hesitate to use again in adding to my collection of timepieces. Thank you! Barry.

Easy to order, was told out of stock ,then was informed it was back in stock & how long it would take for my earings & I got them a little bit earlier, good service all around
