Before advertising for new evaluations, you should take care of those submitted in April! I have been waiting more than five months for my credential evaluation, for which I had to pay nearly $1,000. There is no customer service, we receive AI generated responses, and the people on the phone are extremely rude and provide zero help. This is unacceptable, honestly it's time people and organizations switch to other services as this one is a scam that does not care about its customers even in the slightest way.

I followed every instruction provided, including contacting WES directly to confirm they had received everything they needed. Three weeks later, at the end of their stated processing timeframe, not a single document had even been confirmed as accepted.

By this point, I had started contacting them weekly for updates. In their latest emails, they repeatedly claimed they had not received my documents, despite me providing screenshots clearly showing that the documents had been uploaded weeks earlier, in accordance with their requirements. Their own system even displayed the documents alongside the original upload dates!

When confronted with this evidence, rather than acknowledging their failure, they decided to blame me for supposedly not following the correct upload procedures. They then had the audacity to explain how to upload documents that their own system was already showing as received!

The complete lack of accountability, communication and basic competence is staggering. Instead of resolving the issue, they have wasted weeks sending contradictory responses and shifting the blame onto the customer.

**This is still ongoing, but my advice to anyone considering WES is simple: DON'T!**

Take your money elsewhere. Their incompetence has now delayed my university application when, had they processed my documents within their own stated timeframe, I should have been two weeks ahead of schedule.

**You pay for a professional credential evaluation service, not weeks of excuses, finger-pointing and being told to resubmit documents they already have.**

I am very disappointed with my experience with WES. I completed my (ECA) last month, but the name on my report was incorrect, with errors in both the first name and last name.
I contacted customer service and requested a correction. Unfortunately, even after making this request twice, I received revised reports that still contained incorrect names. Instead of resolving the issue, the repeated errors have caused me unnecessary stress, wasted time, and frustration.
This is an important document for my immigration process, and I expect such a professional organization to handle personal information accurately. I provided the correct information, but the same issue has continued despite multiple attempts to get it fixed.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of proper resolution and quality control. I hope WES takes this complaint seriously, corrects my name accurately, and improves its process to prevent other customers from experiencing the same problem.
I would appreciate a proper resolution rather than receiving another report with incorrect information.

My experience with WES has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I paid $200 for a credential evaluation that required verification of my academic documents from the Federal University of Parana (UFPR), a Brazilian federal university. The university's graduate program administrative assistant sent my transcript directly from the program's official institutional email address. Yet WES claimed it could not verify the sender's email address. I did everything I could to resolve this issue. I contacted the university's administrative assistant multiple times, and she cooperated by sending the documents and providing additional confirmation as requested. She is an older woman who does not speak English, and I felt terrible repeatedly asking her to deal with additional requests because WES could not resolve a verification issue involving an official university email address. I repeatedly explained the situation to WES, but the only support I could access was an AI chatbot or generic, apparently AI-generated email responses that simply repeated the same instructions without offering any specific guidance. Nobody seemed willing to investigate the case individually or explain what, exactly, was wrong with the institutional email address.
After exhausting my time and patience, I requested cancellation because WES was unable to move forward with the service despite my repeated efforts to comply with its requirements.
And what happened? WES charged me $51 to cancel.
So, after paying approximately $200 for a service that never progressed beyond an unresolved email verification issue, I lost another $51 simply to cancel it.
I understand that credential evaluations require verification procedures. What I do not understand is why a customer should bear the financial burden when a company cannot resolve a verification issue, provides no meaningful human support, and repeatedly sends generic responses instead of actionable instructions.
I paid for a professional service, not an endless administrative loop. I spent my own time coordinating with a university representative, repeatedly explaining the same situation, and trying to make the process work. In the end, I was charged for cancellation on top of the original expense.
The lack of meaningful customer support, the failure to resolve the verification issue, and the $51 cancellation fee make this an extremely disappointing experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVIE. Absolutely unacceptable.

I paid for the evaluation on May 23, 2026 and the evaluation was complete on June 9, 2026. Today is October 11 and I have not received the hard copy of official report. I have called multiple times and filled out online request multiple times. I still have not got an answer and no update.

I had a positive experience with WES. The application process was straightforward, the instructions were clear, and my credential evaluation was completed efficiently. I appreciated the timely updates and smooth communication throughout the process.

They evaluated my transcripts in the time they said. Customer Service always answered my questions. Good price for the service.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with World Education Services (WES).

I submitted my application and paid the evaluation fee, but I later discovered that my university was not eligible for evaluation by WES. This important information was not clearly brought to my attention before I proceeded with the application and payment.

When I requested a refund, WES informed me that a full refund is applicable only if the application is cancelled within 24 hours; otherwise, a cancellation fee may apply depending on the application status.

As a customer, I find this extremely frustrating and unfair. If my university was not eligible for evaluation, why was this restriction not clearly communicated before I paid? Customers should not have to lose money because important eligibility information was not made sufficiently clear during the application process.

I contacted WES Support and requested a full refund, but the response focused on the cancellation policy rather than directly addressing my main concern.

My concern is simple: transparency before payment and fair treatment of customers.

I urge WES to review its application process, make university eligibility restrictions more prominent before accepting payment, and reconsider refund requests in situations like mine.

I am sharing my experience so that other students can verify their university's eligibility carefully before paying WES for an evaluation. I hope WES takes this feedback seriously and provides a fair resolution.

After waiting for weeks, I decided to contact my university directly. To my surprise, they confirmed that they had no record of receiving any verification request from WES.

This raises serious concerns about how my application has been handled. I paid for a professional evaluation service, expecting reasonable follow-up, transparency, and communication. Instead, I have spent valuable time trying to figure out what is happening with my own application.

Whenever I contact customer service, I receive generic responses telling me to contact my university or continue waiting, without a clear explanation of what steps WES has actually taken.

I understand that international document verification can be complicated, but that does not justify poor communication or leaving customers in the dark for weeks.

**WES needs to improve its customer service, communication, accountability, and follow-up procedures.** Customers should not have to investigate problems themselves after paying for a professional service.

Unfortunately, based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend WES.
