DIFFICULT SITE

1. You don't have spanish translation at the site.
2. It's very difficult to understand how can i get the tickets for the access to the treasures of San Marco without guided tours.
3. You don't have other important languages (like spanish, portuguese, japanese, and others) guided tours.

1. At present venetoinside.com is only in English and Italian. We are working to translate it also in the main European languages. We hope this will be possible soon!

2. As indicated in the page dedicated to St. Mark's Basilica, entry tickets to the treasures can be purchased on site only. Unfortunately, it is not possible to book them online in advance!

3. We provide lots of guided tours in the main European languages, but the availability may vary according to low and high season... Of course, for the most important attractions in Venice, such as St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace, guided tours in English, Spanish, French and German are guaranteed all year long. Upon request, we can arrange private tours also in Portuguese and Japanese.

It is a joke

It is a joke. The queue for the "queue jumper" voucher holders was enormous. We could not face it and did something else with our time. Money 100% wasted.

Do not buy skip the line

Please do not buy skip the line for st Mark's Basilica in Venice as you won't be able to skip it. What you would see is just a different line that may take even longer than the free queue. I went with some friends that had not booked their time, so I thought I was the clever one, but as my queue had to show the voucher I got into the Basilica after him, even paying and he's not.

I managed to do it successfully but there were some glitches on website.

I managed to do it successfully, but there were a few glitches when I booked my tickets for St. Mark's Basilica. For birth date, it does not give you options for all the months. Only a few months were available to choose from, so I did not enter my date of birth. Also, when paying for the tickets, the screen seemed to shift to one side so I could no longer read everything. However, I was able to read some parts.

Удобный сервис. Забронировала билетный пасс. и пропуск очереди в Базилику. Но к сожалению не удалось забронировать пропуск очереди в Башню Сан Марка. Жаль.

Highly recommend

If you are visiting St Marks basilica use this product. I bought this voucher online at 9.15am for a 9.45.visit the same day. Immediate delivery. Clear instructions on whicb entrance to go to. Then I walked passed the main queue that was several hundred people long to the fastpass entrance where there was no queue - not one person in front of me - and gained access just before 9.45. Fantastic. Multo bene!

100% legitimate and trustworthy

Was a bit nervous at first, but all of our bookings panned out perfectly!! Extremely legitimate company, book with them and make your life much easier in Venice, especially if you have a short amount of time.

We were 5 minutes late getting to our…

We were 5 minutes late getting to our designated meeting point which in Venice isn't bad at all, especially when it's very busy. The guide had already left. Venetionside could not contact the guide or our chosen place to visit to confirm our entry. They had no measures to help us and we could not enter our place to visit with their voucher. I would not recommend them at all.

we are sorry you missed your tour. Please note that you booked a collective tour, which means that there would have been other people attending the tour with you.
Out of respect for these participants, the guide cannot wait for latecomers nor answer the phone while he/she is working, since it would cause an inconvenience to people who arrived in time at the tour meeting point and expect to take part in a pleasant and envolving tour. In order to prevent our customers from being late, on the voucher we clearly specify both 'No credit or refunds will be given in the case of a NO SHOW (if you don’t show up at the meeting point at the time indicated on your voucher). Therefore we advise you to locate in advance the departure point and how to get there in order to avoid being late or any inconveniences that would prevent you from being at the meeting point in time for the departure (especially in case of public transport strikes, great events, bad weather, ...)' and 'Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE DEPARTURE TIME indicated'.
We can assure you that we always do our best to help our customers and to provide the assistance they need but unfortunately, if you arrive late at the meeting point we can only try to reschedule your tour on another day, according to the tour availability.

absolute waste of money

absolute waste of money, we arrived at St. Mark’s Basilica on time but there was no other entrance for the skip the line, we asked but no one had any idea... so we still had to line up. don't bother absolute wast of time and money. i requested a refund but obviously no response.

we are sorry you were not satisfied with our service. Please note that the voucher you received after the online reservation indicates where the skip-the-line access is both on a map and with a textual description. Moreover, if you need assistance on site the voucher said 'If necessary, visitors may ask for assistance at VENETOINSIDE INFO POINT at St. Peter's Door (on the left of the main door of the Basilica, see picture above), which is available from Tuesday to Saturday from 9:45am to 4:30pm'. We regret these instructions was not clear enough to you!
As for your complaint about not receiving any reply to your email asking for a refund, please let us know what email address you sent it to. We always take our customers' requests into great consideration and are used to providing a reply within a couple of days.

Don’t bother

We started at Museum Correr. You still need to queue to the ticket office where you will found out that the face value of the delivered pass is actually cheaper than the one you bought! (Obviously they need to earn money somewhar). So paid 25 euros instead of 24 for the exact same ticket!!!!

In response to your response:
So just to clarify your process and time saving):

USING your site:
- So to get it straight, you need to fill all your details on your website
- Have a printer (as you need to print the voucher)
- Queue at the ticket office (like anybody else buying a ticket)
- Exchange the voucher for a ticket

BUYING at the ticket office:
- Queue at the ticket office
- Pay with Cash/Credit cards (without any fee)

How is this faster?

Please consider that the details you are complaining about are clearly specified online, among the information you should have read before booking. Actually, we are transparent in informing our customers both that 'The ticket must be collected at the ticket office of the first museum you visit (allowing time for a possible queue at the ticket counter)' and 'The price of the tickets listed on venetoinside.com are inclusive of the booking fee'. If you have a look at the reviews connected to this service on our portal you will note that most of our customers appreciate the possibilty to buy the ticket online and save time at the ticket office. We regret this was not your case!

please note that we only suggested you have a look at the reviews on our portal, just to be aware that most of our customers have a different opinion from yours and find the online reservation useful. Anyway, we will take into account your feedback, since we aim to improve our services, not to mention the fact that all the reviews represent a plus for people interested in buying something online.
Unfortunately, there might be a queue at the ticket office, but we informed our customers about this possible inconvenience both online and on the voucher... It is for this reason that we invite our customers to collect the ticket at the Doge's Palace, where they can benefit from a dedicated ticket office in order not to waste too much time in line. We are sorry you didn't find the advance online reservation useful.

After I had paid for the tickets

After I had paid for the tickets, the next screen came up, and then the picture on the right shifted the information on the left off the screen. I couldn't read what I was supposed to do to download the vouchers. What a pain! Don't you ever test your system before you put it out there for the public!
