Best Honeymoon Ever!
The company made everything SO easy. We had some last minute changes with our airline (they cancelled our flight three weeks before we left) and they worked with us to quickly get the transportation and hotel changes updated in our itinerary.

Working with Tara to get everything booked was great. She was very knowledgable and quick to respond. While in Costa Rica, the hotels and tours were amazing. We loved every part of our trip!

I have already recommended Costa Rican Vacations to others and would absolutely work with them again.

Amazing Vacation, I don't normally do reviews but this company did such a great job Im going to write one. They planned & organized our trip start to finish. Starting with immigration, had they not met us Im sure we would have been stuck for hours as the special travel insurance we bought wasn't one of the main ones & had to be approved before we could enter. Our escort translated for us & got us through quickly. Having never been to Costa Rica it was so nice to have transportation and tours taken care of. We had several changes before hand & they seamlessly adjusted our itinerary accordingly. The activities and hotels we all great! My only suggestion/complaint would be knowing all the activities in certain areas in order to make the best selection. In one area we did the cloud forest tour which was a bird watching walk in the rain for 3 hours. Not our favorite, had we known about other activates in the area we would have chosen something different. What a Beautiful country, we enjoyed our vacation so much. The monkeys on our balcony in Manuel Antonio was my favorite. Side note if you get motion sick take Dramamine the car rides between areas is very windy and rough. Overall great experience, would highly recommend Costa Rican Vacations to anyone.

This was the best vacation I have ever had! This was a family vacation for 13 of us and Costa Rican Vacations took the best care of us! It was wonderful and amazing. The buses were always there on time for the excursions that they had planned for us and every excursion was wonderful and the guides were fantastic! The hotels that they put us in were amazing as well! We were treated amazing and had the most amazing time! I can't say enough wonderful things about this trip and Costa Rican Vacations and our travel specialist Sebastian Rojas, he was wonderful! Thank you so much for everything! We will definitely be going back and will DEFINITELY be using Costa Rican Vacations again!

Using Costa Rican Vacations was a great decision! They made it so easy to plan everything; transportation, hotels, excursions, etc.

We booked our trip in February of 2020, to travel in April of 2020. With the COVID pandemic, our trip was postponed. We traveled in November 2020 and it was amazing. Costa Rican Vacations handled everything for us; all the re bookings, etc. Everything was seamlessly easy.

We flew into SJO and were greeted by a person from their company to walk us through the airport and customs. He helped us with our luggage and showed us to our driver who drove us to our hotel near Arenal. We stayed at the Lomas Del Volcan. It was amazing. Amazing food, people, had our own bungalow, remote setting, could see the volcano right out our patio. Everything was amazing! We went on a sloth tour, hiked the side of the volcano, went to the LaFortuna Water fall, went to the hot springs and white water rafting. After 3 days in the Arenal area, we went to Manual Antonio in which we were shuttled by the company in a private, new vehicle.

We stayed at Costa Verde resort. It was again amazing. We went to the beach, National Park, markets, El Avion Restaurant, cooking class, tourist shops, etc.

Every single person that helped us rolled out the red carpet. This was our first time traveling to Costa Rica and we will definitely be back and I will be using Costa Rican Vacations for sure. It takes the stress out of planning for certain!

I was booked for a trip before the pandemic and asked for a refund when we found out that we had to go under lockdown and could no longer go. My husband and I do not feel comfortable traveling due to our existing health issues - It is just too much of a risk for us. I am not asking to postpone again as we cannot go on this vacation.
I am begging you to reconsider and help us get a refund as we are sadly not in the position to use this anymore and also cannot afford to lose this money as we are no longer working. Please help.

I booked my trip for July2021 and it was very easy and fast. They also gave me an itinerary of what me and my Husband would be doing the while there.

I can't say enough about the service I have received from Justin and the entire team. They had recommendations on food, what to do, where to fish, and put us in a house that I can only describe as breathtaking (Casa Harmon is AMAZING). They responded to every request and issue very quickly and were always courteous. Navigating travel to a foreign country isn't easy, they made it painless and I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you Justin for everything you did for us!

My husband and I were so excited to go on our honeymoon in Costa Rica. We were excited that Costa Rica Vacations/Namu Travel would create our itinerary because it seemed they had a more personal approach to working with their customers. Fairly quickly into the process, we did not enjoy how salesy it felt. Unfortunately, due to COVID there was no ability to travel during our scheduled dates in May due to travel restrictions and health concerns as a result of the global pandemic. Since then we have been very displeased and unsatisfied with the communication and professionalism from Costa Rican Vacations / Namu Travel. We began the process of trying to cancel our trip per the cancellation policy, and received no response or very infrequent responses often disregarding some of our questions. We initially reached out March 14 to cancel our trip in May, and after we followed up frequently with no reply, it was finally escalated to a manager in mid July, four months after our initial inquiry. I spoke with the manager on the phone July 16 and he admitted the poor communication on their part and was apologetic. He continued to be very salesy and it did not feel personal or like he had any intention of trying to hear our perspective at all. He just informed us that we are not able to cancel/are not eligible for a refund per their cancellation policy. We had paid for our entire trip in ful and they are currently keeping our money for no specific scheduled dates and trying to work with us to rebook for some unknown point in the future, when nobody knows when we will be able to safely travel again. Before our challenges of communicating the intended cancelation, we were planning to rebook with Namu Travel because we were so excited for their initial itinerary. However, due to the extremely poor communication and support we've received over the last, now 5 months, after a forced trip cancellation, it is very unlikely we will recommend or use this company in the future. We certainly understand the challenges we are all under due to COVID, but with COVID being present for the foreseeable future, we are dissatisfied with the option to reschedule to an unknown date. This company has failed to deal with this situation in a professional and timely manner, and I do not trust this company to be able to manage any future issues caused by the continued pandemic or other global events.

We booked a trip to Costa Rica this past Spring through Costa Rican Vacations. They helped us plan some great excursions with 3rd party vendors and find a place that met all our needs. Unfortunately, our trip was impacted by the global pandemic and borders were closed to US travelers. Costa Rican Vacations handled the situation very professionally and went above and beyond to ensure we were made whole from a financial perspective. It’s clear that they care about their customers and appreciated our business, especially during a time when the travel industry is struggling. I’m looking forward to working with them again in the future to book our new Costa Rican adventure.

Truly amazing! Robin was superbly helpful throughout the planning process and then, once we arrived, the hotline number was widely accessible and the agents helped us to alter our plans on the spot as was needed. They even helped us cancel one night of a hotel reservation AND GET REIMBURSED due to covid-concerns. I’d use them again in a heartbeat!

Really enjoyed everything that CRV did with us. We had less than 2 months to plan our trip during CR's busy season.The itinerary CRV planned was what we wanted -- several days each in a cloud forest, at a Pacfic Coast beach, and near the Arena volcano, with opportunities to see wildlife at each. Each driver we had was excellent -- safe, knowledgeable, English-speaking, in a spotless van, and with snacks. The accomodations were great and appropriately priced. When we had local guides they were terrific, too. I really recommend CRV to people going to CR for the first time.

Costa Rican Vacations helped my husband and I book a two week wedding trip. They were very helpful and understanding with our needs, everything was PERFECT! The hotels where we stayed were beautiful, we loved all of them. The drivers who picked us up from our hotels were so knowledgeable and friendly. We were very happy with our tours that we booked through the agency. We will definitely recommend to all of our family and friends and will be booking through them again for future trips! Pura Vida!

The best customer service! From beginning to end, great communication, really listened to what we wanted & made suggestions that fit. Easy to make adjustments to ensure it was perfect. We want to visit Costa Rica again, and if we are able, will Costa Rican Vacations again !

My wife and I enjoyed hands down the best vacation of our lives together on our honeymoon in February to Costa Rica. It's a daunting thing to plan a honeymoon to a country that you've never been to and I didn't know where to start, so I enlisted the help of Costa Rican Vacations. I worked with Dyonne who was absolutely incredible to work not only with my budget but also with my wife and my travel/activity interests: a blend of adventure and also, just relaxing with a cold beverage and a book. Our wedding planning was crazy and to be honest, we didn't know what to expect when we arrived. From the second our flight arrived in Liberia until the end, we were blown away by the professionalism of the drivers, our accommodations and the activities and adventures we experienced. We kept asking ourselves "Did our budget really cover all of this?" because there was just so much great stuff every single day: ziplines, jungle tours, river wildlife boat tour, mountain hot springs, two beautiful and different resorts and so much incredible sightseeing. We didn't have to think of anything on our trip other than just being in the moment and taking it all in. If you're looking for somebody to plan the perfect vacation for your budget and specific interests, look no further. We had the best vacation we have ever had, and a lot of it had to do with the wonderful places we stayed, and the seamless transfers in between each location and the airport. There was never a time when we felt the slightest bit anxious about where we were, or where we were going. Costa Rica is such a gem in itself, but I highly recommend going with Costa Rica Vacations. You will love your trip.
