I usually do all of my family’s travel planning myself, but when we decided on Costa Rica, I felt overwhelmed. I did a simple Google search on Costa Rica travel agents, and I landed on Costa Rica Vacations (Namu Travel). It was an absolutely perfect vacation! We loved everything about it, and Sebastian and his team took care of every detail. My daughter is gluten-free, and every excursion had an alternative lunch for her and the resort went above and beyond. I will never attempt CR on my own - Sebastian will always get my business!

The company took care of everything, from rooms, to shuttles, transfers, booking excursions. It was as turnkey as a vacation can get. Everything was documented and easy to follow, and taken care of. We communicated throughout the trip with Costa Rica vacations for recommendations, and any and every question. A 5 minute response was always there. One tiny hiccup that in my opinion turned into Costa Rican Vacations biggest win was we had an 3 hr drive with a bad air conditioner in a van. We messaged CR Vacations 10 min in and they immediately got another van sent to us while we were driving (within an hr to catch up) and paid for our lunch as well to cover the inconvenience. This above and beyond service after they already had nothing to gain except for a happy customer, shows they never stopped taking care of us on our trip/.

WOW! We just returned from our dream honeymoon vacation, and I can't say enough great things about this company. Shelly Huff was our agent. She made our trip easy and stress-free. After adventuring into the rainforest, crossing hanging bridges, and swimming at La Fortuna waterfall, we enjoyed the beautiful views of Arenal from our private bungalow at Los Del Volcan. We then went to the beach. We enjoyed swimming in the refreshing waters at Playa Conchal, where we had a beautiful sunset catamaran tour, where they popped champagne to help us celebrate our honeymoon!

My husband and I traveled to Costa Rica for two weeks for our honeymoon. Jessica planned our whole trip, which relieved the pressure of having to plan a vacation while planning a wedding. She listened to what we were interested in and took into consideration our budget when planning our trip. During the planning process Jessica was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. She was very organized and sent us a detailed itinerary so we knew exactly what was in store for us. We stayed at several different resorts and Jessica set up rides for us from place to place. We never had any issues with delays or drivers not showing up.

We had a great time on our trip and would highly recommend visiting Costa Rica and booking through Jessica. We were able to show up in Costa Rica and only worry about enjoying our vacation!

Our family trip to Costa Rica was an incredible experience. We traveled with 10 people who ranged in age from 10 years old to 69 years old and the experience was amazing. Rachel Peck designed EVERY aspect of the trip with minimal guidance/direction from us. We had no idea what to do or where to start planning and Rachel Peck took care of everything! She planned amazing excursions: ziplining, white water rafting and waterfall rappelling. She arranged every transfer, car ride, tour guide and aspect of the trip. All of the drivers, vendors and companies were the height of professionalism and kindness. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and engaging and every trip was exciting. Rachel Peck and Costa Rican Vacations planned a trip of a lifetime for our family and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking to travel to Cosat Rica.

This was one of the best vacations my family and I have ever had. The transportation, tours and hotels were perfect, not one glitch. Jessica Luecke put together an itinerary that was fun for the whole family. We had a great time and hope to return!

As a somewhat experienced traveller over many years, I can quite honestly say that Costa Rican Vacations is, without a doubt, the best company I have ever booked with.
I booked a family holiday, from the UK, pre-Covid for the summer of 2020 which we finally undertook this August '22.
Our dates, plans, itinerary and even number of travellers changed on several occasions - however, Molly, Luke & Lorenzo took it all in their stride - none of my "demanding" changes/queries were too much for them to duly handle. The very extensive package - 19 days of non-stop activities, (which even included a quick trip to Panama), was fully taken care of down to the very last detail.
All our hotels/lodges were perfect; great facilities and locations, everyone we came into contact with greeted us with a great smile and first-class service. We encountered the most amazing wildlife, scenery and bucket list of our 'out of comfort zone experiences' however, everyone was very supportive, professional and genuinely friendly.
I cannot find one single fault and I cannot praise them highly enough. If you are planning to visit Costa Rica, for your first or a return visit, don't even think about using a different company.

We just returned from a 15 day tour of Costa Rica. We booked the entire trip with Sebastian from Costa Rican Vacations. With my requests he booked a four location trip that included accommodations, transportation, and tours. We went with our two older kids (ages 15 and 21) and had an absolute amazing experience!!! Sebastian and his team were knowledgeable, easy to work with, reliable, and had great recommendations. We loved our tours (whitewater rafting, ziplining, jungle tour in Manuel Antonio, and snorkelling day). Our drivers were all on time, and one in particluar (Jose Mora) was phenomenal. Loved all of it!!!! Normally I research and book everything on my own, but have to say that Sebastian and his team made this such an easy and relaxing trip!!! Totally recommend them!!!

This is the first time I’ve used a travel agent for my group of 6. From start to finish, it was terrific! My point of contact, Valentina N. gave me excellent advice and fielded endless questions from me. Once we got in country, we loved the hotel Valentina recommended so, so much that we decided to redo our itinerary to stay in location #1(MA) for the entire week. I made one phone call and this team unwound all logistics around location #2(la fortuna) and handled all logistics to extend in location 1(Manuel Antonio). As the manager/mom of the group, I felt like I had a super dependable partner in all travel matters. We had not one hitch! Call these guys!!!!

We did the volcano and beach and did at least 1 tour a day sometimes 2. Sebastian spent hours accommodating us and planning the perfect trip. Best experience with a travel agency yet! Sebastian was super responsive, and had my itinerary ready in just a couple short hours. The most detailed one I’ve seen and so very appreciated! Once on vacation all our pickups were right on time and everything fell in line with what we expected from itinerary. People in Costa Rica were so nice and the nature and landscape was breathtaking. Highly recommended.

Booked the Planet Hollywood Costa Rica Papagayo, 3-12 to 3-18. Our flight from Miami was cancelled by AA, and we could not flyout until Mon the 14th, I called the resort to tell them we were still coming, they told us they would note our reservation, upon arrival at the security gate on Mon the guard stated they had no rooms for us, after about 20 mins they let us proceed into the resort compound, the front desk failed to inform security of our delayed check-in Our reservation stated we had 500.00 resort credit per room. At check in we were not provided any details regarding this, and the PH team member had limited English and we had limited Spanish speaking abilities. The following day I called down to the front desk to ask how the credit would be applied, and was told it would be applied at checkout, it would go towards, the spa, enhanced dining, excursions, etc. We used the SPA three times, took an zipline/atv trip. At check out I ask about our resort credit and was told we had to use the coupons at the time of service. We were not given any coupons at check-in, so had no idea about the use of them. After about 20 mins or back an forth Planet Hollywood agreed to apply two of the spa coupons of 50.00 each against our charges but only applied 97.50 of the 100.00. I asked about the other 402.50 and was told it had to be with the coupons, our reservation did not mention anything about coupons nor were we given them. We have been emailing back in forth with PH, and they have offered 100.00 in points, which we have declined.

Sebastian Rojas from Costa Rican Vacations planned an amazing trip for our family. Every detail was taken care of. Transfers were on time, drivers were wonderful, tours were excellent and we appreciated all of his suggestions and responsiveness to our questions. The travel team was also very helpful during a challenging situation. While in Tamarindo my husband had a medical emergency that required him to be airlifted to a surgeon in San Jose (about a 4.5 hour drive from us). My children and I were not able to accompany him. It was scary and stressful, especially being so far from home. The in-country team checked in with us repeatedly and handled the complicated logistics of getting him back to us after his hospital stay. They also checked in after our return home. We truly appreciate their responsiveness and compassion. Natalia and Abigail were especially helpful. I am not sure how we would have managed without their support. The trip was amazing and stress free. We did not have to worry about anything. Costa Rican vacations took care of all of the planning and the communication was on point. We customized the trip based on what we wanted to do. Sebastian offered several different hotels and things to do, along with his favorite restaurants. They even scheduled a romantic dinner for us one night that was fantastic. They provided all of the info needed for COVID paperwork and answered the questions we had. The service was beyond our expectations while in Costa Rica. We are already planning our next trip!
