From the moment we walked out of the airport, everything we had been expecting was spot on. We had never been to Costa Rica, and this was our honeymoon. Jordan listened to what we wanted and provided amazing accommodations, first class transports, great choices of excursions and activities, all while staying within our budget. We can't say enough about the level of service she provided. We're not extremely experienced travelers, so we needed the help and information, and, boy, did she deliver. Wholeheartedly recommend her and her company.

We explored quite a bit of the island, staying 2-3 nights in every place. All resorts were spectacular, but Peace Lodge, Savegre Hotel Natural Reserve and Costa Verde stand out! What I liked about exploring different areas is that we kept active and saw so much diversity. Mountains, rain forests, hanging bridges, waterfalls, beach time, wildlife, zip lining, white water rafting, Volcano National Park, natural pools, mud baths, snorkeling, horseback riding, and so much more. Caitlin had great suggestions on restaurants and places to visit when we rented a car for a week. My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and we were treated at multiple resorts with special gifts. What a nice touch! We were not disappointed and would highly recommend you choose Costa Rican Vacations and ask for Caitlin. She has experienced most if not all the places she recommends. To me, that is an asset when booking a trip. If you want a knowledgeable, will put every effort into your dream vacation, with a fun and outgoing personality, Caitlin is your contact! I've already referred her to an acquaintance, and she booked a trip.

Jose helped plan this trip perfectly. His expertise with planning the perfect itinerary for adventure and leisure was on point. The concierge service was also convenient with last minute changes. i will use them again for my future travels to CR.

Our experience was great because we had a wonderful travel representative in Caitlin. She listened to what we wanted for our family vacation and came through with a beautiful stay near Arenal for a few days and then the coast for a few days.

VacationsCostaRica.com provided quick responses to our inquiries before travel. They booked fishing expeditions with one of the best captains and crew in Quepos (The Moonwalker). The transportation to/from the airport and all activities were on time and very nice. Our hotel was in the middle of an animal preserve and we saw many monkeys/a macaw/even a black and yellow toucan from our room's deck. Our deck had an awesome view of the sunset too. The staff at the hotel were all very nice and accommodating. Everything was top of the line and we enjoyed every minute of every day. We had 2 1/2 days fishing and caught a marlin, 7 sailfish, 2 tuna, a roosterfish, a moon fish, and Spanish mackerel. Talk about a bucket list checked off! We have been telling everyone what a fantastic trip this was. Highly recommended.

So happy we chose to book our Honeymoon with Laura from Costa Rican Vacations! We were so busy leading up to our trip so it was extremely helpful to have somebody do the bulk of our planning for us. I gave Laura a general idea of what we wanted to do and she quickly made a perfect itinerary for us! She was extremely responsive, friendly and gave great tips and recommendations.

Our entire trip went perfectly - from our transportation, hotels, and excursions. The planning process was seamless and stress free; yet I still like we had a trip that was perfectly catered to us. We had a truly amazing and unforgettable honeymoon!

We spent 17 days going to 5 different locations in Costa Rica.

Prior to our trip, we did some research and told Caitlin what was important to us. After Caitlin had our itinerary done, we spent 90 minutes on the phone with her going over every detail of our planned trip, including where we were going to stay and the excursions. Every place was a unique experience.

We visited the cloud forest and the rain forest. We rode in a boat 90 minutes to an island and we stayed in primitive cabins. We could see monkeys climbing in the trees around us, we saw gorgeous birds and an otter playing and so much more. We gathered vegetables and then cooked a meal with a Costa Rican family. We stayed at a beautiful unique hotel that had a sloth that lived in a tree by the pool and also monkeys playing in the trees. We spent time with the Bri Bri indigenous clan and made coffee and hot chocolate with them, starting from the coffee beans. We stayed at a hot springs resort with the view from our rooms of Arenal Volcano. These are just a few of our experiences that we had.

The last night before we left we went up a mountain in San Jose where we could look over the city with all the lights enjoying a Costa Rican meal and watching dancers performing Costa Rican dances.

Costa Rica is beautiful, echo friendly and we found that the people are gracious hosts.

I have traveled many places and usually don't go back because there are to many beautiful places in the world to see. However, I plan on going back to Costa Rica because we had such a great experience and that was because Caitlin listened to what was important to us and made this trip, ours.

Thanks to Namu and Jordan Gill who planned our two week Costa Rican vacation we have had an amazing time. From our arrival we knew we were good hands as a Namu representative was right there to guide us thru the airport and driver. Every hotel that Jordan selected for us was fantastic. As an example Senda in Monteverdi far exceed our expectations. All our tours Jordan planned to meet our interests in birding and coffee had guides that were exceptional.. As this was our first time to Costa Rica the itinerary took us from seaside to the mountains covering so many interesting places in this beautiful country. We also have to compliment your very talented and safe drivers as they were always prompt and courteous. Thanks again to Jordan who kept in touch before and during our journey to ensure a wonderful experience. As experienced travelers we would highly and gladly recommend Jordan and Namu as they provided a Costa Rican vacation that became one of our most highly enjoyed trips.

We loved working with Jordan and Costa Rican Vacations! They planned the perfect vacation for our family. We were impressed with their communication, they listened to what we wanted for a vacation and created a trip to meet our needs, and made sure there were accommodations for our children. While on vacation we were able to relax and actually enjoy our vacation because they set everything up. We can’t wait to use them again!

Ulrik planned the perfect vacation for me and my wife! My wife planned the whole trip without me knowing as it was a surprise, and luckily Ulrik was there to help her every step of the way. It started with getting greeted at the airport and the woman assisted us through customs and brought us right to our driver. The driver from San Jose to Arenal Kioro was great! He suggested several spots in La Fortuna that we should visit and he was spot on with all of them. The views and the staff at Arenal Kioro were both top notch. The driver that picked us up for the 4-hour ride to Los Suenos even stopped and walked with us to see the crocodiles on the Crocodile Bridge. Los Suenos was the perfect resort experience, and the only thing that beat the views was the fishing! We enjoyed two 1/2 day charters with Costa Cat, fishing for roosterfish the first day and the big stuff the second day. We couldn’t have been happier to have caught a sailfish and a Mahi! The pool bar at the beach club in Los Suenos cooked our catches both days and prepared them perfectly. The restaurants were delicious and the other folks at the resort made us feel like we were regulars. We can’t wait to book our next trip to Costa Rica through Ulrik! Thank you again!

CRV staff were very helpful in accommodating our location requests, which were slightly more "traveler" than "tourist" style. The shuttle connections were easy and all the guides were pleasant, and of course, the scenery was gorgeous and the wildlife were incredible! A top-notch experience, start to finish! We paid for a package to Costa Rica but the entrance fees at the Natural Parks were unfortunately not included as we thought.
We had to pay entrance fees for national parks that belongs to basic tours that should be included in the package.
I was not happy during the holiday about that but the agency was correct and agreed to refund the parks.
At the end, I am happy with the general service if refund is made to compensate our extra charges.
Every time we contacted the agency during the holiday, we had people responding to us.

Best vacation ever! I contacted Anastasia and she organized my somewhat complicated, multi-family vacation. It was everything we asked for. We had a group with diverse interests and wants, so we weren't easy to please, but she somehow pulled it of. Would definitely return and use this agency again.

Costa Rican Vacations only sets up the hotel's, excursions and answers questions. For any difficulty,you are referred to a travel experience team,thru Namu travel. This is in name only,as they refuse to help. Any delayed/canceled flights ect.ect (not your fault),they should help you with reservation changes, but they didn't help us. Because of a delayed flight, we came the next day. Only excuses from them and no help!? The meet and greet($100 extra)?,is the driver that takes you to your hotel. Hello, im your driver $ 100 ? (transportation is extra) .All of thier policies, penalties ect.,are not to help you, but protect the $$s you have paid them. Costa Rica is a bueatiful country. Enjoy .

Hi Alfonso… i am checking in to let you know how this week went. I dont want to leave. Your country is amazing and i have fallen in love with Costa Rica. You did an amazing job setting us up, getting our tranfers and picking our hotels. Each spot has left an imprint on my heart. Arenal was stunning.. the area, people.. amazing, the Don Juan coffee tour.. also amazing. The two fellows that gave the tour (was just darren and i so very personalized) we both so fun and entertaining.. we would recommend forsure. Monteverde was more rustic but no less enjoyable. The weather held out for us on the bridges/sloth/butterfly/reptile but as soon as we got home, it was torrential downpour..again, Darren and i were the only ones on the tour so very personalized.. awesome day. Manuel Antonio… stole my heart. I have never felt so welcome, staff very friendly, and enjoyed teaching us small bits of spanish .. we will be back. I want you to know this was.. by far… the best experience both Darren and i have had and its because of you. Thank you so very much. I dont know how to thank you except to say just that… THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Amazing service. The reps were tremendously helpful when I needed to make a change to our itinerary while in country. They advocated for me with the hotel; booked and changed tours (and hotel) for us last minute, were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was exactly what we hoped for. Everyone I worked with amazing; they would follow up continuously and were very easy to contact when needed. I am very impressed with the level of service and care. I will definitely use them for my next trip.

We're looking at visiting Costa Rica for the first time and my wife saw a link to Costa Rican Vacations and messaged them. Within a few hours, we'd already had a call (to the UK) from Emilie Witham, who quickly understood what we wanted and came up with a package. We were keen to visit the Osa Peninsula and she found and held a Lodge for us to consider for 24 hours, as well as coming up with a suggested itinerary for the remainder of our trip.
We then went back with several modifications, which she kindly acted on. When I queried the price, she provided a complete breakdown that showed the great value of the trip.
