Not so merry Christmas
21st October order placed for some fishing scales as my sons Christmas gift. When they arrived I hid them in wardrobe ready to be wrapped. Fast forward to Christmas day my sons opening them to find they are scratched fully dirty and the insides of the scales are coming out where the weighing hook is gutted!!!
Obvouisly we had been sent a set of scales returned under warranty by someone else and sent to us by accident. Contacted TFT they wont help because I didn't report it within 14 days of receiving them. So my son has no working scales and I'm £75 down. Sadly this is not the first time as we also received a fishing chair that was not in its original packaging or box and when opened all the frame was out of shape/sprained but this did get sorted. Seems others have had this issue too.
Wish we had lied and said we had use the scales and returned under warranty!!
Please check all goods received with a fine tooth comb, more so if it's the last one in stock when ordering.

As always from TFT I have just received excellent customer service. From fast communication from an actual person ( in this case ( Amy) to resolution of my problem.
