I made an online purchase at tk max which I usually do every couple of months . I made a purchase yesterday and quickly notice that their website didn’t allow me to select what address I wanted my item sent to at checkout, it usually asks. So I check my confirmation on my emails and yes it’s assumed my old address and not my current address.To clarify when trying to update your current address with TK Max it wouldn’t let me remove my old address until my current address had been registered for a certain period of time. So a few months ago i registered my new address so now I had both addresses registered. Anyway I check my bank and the transaction is pending so I call tk max and they go through a security check with me, I answer a few security question's then say sorry we can’t change the address, You will have to wait until the courier contacts you then request it to be picked up at a near by post office near to the address you have selected delivery for. It can only be delivered within the post code you originally selected. So I now live 2.5 hours away from my old address how will this help me,I said? Oh You can go collect it. So I’ve to wait three days before the delivery company will email me then I can tell them to deliver it to a post office 2.5 hours away? Nuts ! Completely nuts. The order hadn’t even been processed yet and they could have helped me but instead gave me unnecessary stress and an unresolved delivery. I contacted head office to see if this was correct, apparently so! they can’t change the address. So I have to spend £50 in petrol to drive 2.5 hours away to collect my parcel. Oh and now I can remove my old address from my account! I will not be ordering from you again. Your system is a mess and your letting customers down. Shame on you.

Excellent customer service. Staff member really impressed me with her attitude, attention and service. A real credit to the company. Very impressed. Also the products I ordered arrived promptly and well packaged.

Exemplary Customer Service.
I paid for a dress and a jumper in store, unfortunately I left the dress behind. I contacted Customer service to see if the dress had been handed in. Unfortunately the dress could not be found. However TKMax issued me a complimentary gift card, even though I didn't have the receipt. More businesses could get some Customer service tips from TKmax. Thank you.

I needed to contact TKMaxx about a wrong item sent and the Customer Service replied promptly and helped me exceptionally well as a shopper who has a disability. I was really pleased with how they helped me, and cannot thank them enough for going to so much care. It goes without saying that the items at the store and online are always one of kind gems and of the highest quality.

The service today was excellent. Catherine really listened to me and found a solution causing the least inconvenience to me.

Customer service team sorted issue out quickly.

Item was damaged/not new when sent so I got in touch with customer services. I sent photos of the item as requested and asked for a replacement but this wasn’t addressed and a refund was automatically given. I don’t feel like my email was read properly.

My local store doesn’t have this in stock so if I want to replace it then I will need to pay for delivery all over again. The item is £13 and the delivery is £5 so it’s just not worth it for me.

Bought a pair of Balenciaga sunglasses, received them without box, lens cleaning cloth or any authenticate cards; wrote to the customer service they didn’t bother to answer probably because they were much cheaper than in the store . Not my first bad experience the worst one it was at TK Maxx Basildon - really rude employees - I have made a promise to myself never to get there again!

This is not a specific review of one time shopping, rather of various recent times in Romford and Ilford. The men's clothing has significantly reduced in quality from say 5-10 years ago, and some of the prices are ridiculously high for only average articles. The home and kitchen sections do still seem to have good choice, and do not seem to have suffered in quality like the clothing

I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Karlee was absolutely outstanding from start to finish and made what could have been a complicated process incredibly easy and straightforward.
She was polite, friendly, professional, patient and incredibly understanding throughout. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was dealt with properly.
The whole experience was seamless, and I felt genuinely listened to and looked after. Customer service like this really does make a difference.10/10 without hesitation. Karlee is a credit to TJX Europe, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Really disappointed with our experience at TK Maxx. We were simply looking at clothes and holding them against ourselves to see what they looked like. We weren’t making a mess or doing anything wrong, but a staff member accused us of causing a mess and said she could kick us out.

The way we were treated felt extremely rude and, from our perspective, racially unfair. Customers should be treated fairly and made to feel welcome, not singled out or assumed to be causing trouble.

The staff member (Lesley) went above & beyond finding the matching shoe, for me to buy the pair.
Many thanks to her, & all the staff at your Yate store, always pleasant & helpful.

Excellent caring response from Samantha when I called to report the wrong pair of trainers being sent to me. She responded positively and solved the issue positively, an asset to the customer service department.

Love TKMax took awhile for my refund which I must say was my fault ,forgot to put receipt in parcel, after a phone call I was dealt with a nice polite person who resolved the problem after a scan bwishes and thanks

The representative that rang me was very engaging when completing the survey and delved into the background behind my answers.

Pleasant change to contact a company by phone which was answered smartly by a human!

Order placed on the 11th August, payment taken and I was informed it would be ready for collection within 3 working days. On the 13th I received an email update that it had been dispatched. I usually get a message late the same day or the next day that it is ready to be collected. Nothing. 2 days later I called, the operator dropped the call but sent me an email saying the order had been misplaced to wait up to another three days (this is now Saturday). By Wednesday I've heard nothing so I call again, speak to another operator (Zoe), who puts me hold for several minutes and assures me she is get in touch the following day as she is going to take the matter in hand herself. Next day I hear nothing. So I call again on the Friday (now ten days from the order, which included a birthday gift for my 5 year old niece, but that was four days ago now). The call is dropped by the agent after I provide the ref.number. Bear in mind I've been very polite to all of these people, I know it's not their fault, I'm just looking for a solution. I call again, speak to another agent (Samantha), who puts me on hold twice for several minutes, refunds the order without asking if that is what I want a this stage--I can't reorder it because the product is no longer available. Really disappointing. No explanations of how a sizeable parcel containing three items goes missing. It certainly raises my concerns that the courier service being used by TK MAXX might be apt to steal packages. Otherwise what, it vanished into thin air? And appalling service from TK Maxx throughout unfortunately.
