What a gorgeous hotel the titanic is. Warm and welcoming staff especially Kerry nothing was too much trouble very friendly locally knowledgeable and all round credit to the hotel.
We shall be back again and hope to see you soon Kerry thanks so much

Booked spa treatments since last year, the hotel had to reschedule several times due to Covid and staff shortage. It was rebooked eventually for this weekend however received no email or reminder of the appointment. The hotel called us today to inform us we have missed appointment and would offer no refund or even a rescheduled appointment. Extremely difficult to get through to hotel over the phone and when you do speak to the reception they are not at all helpful and the customer service is extremely disappointing, not worthy of 4 star rating! Will not be booking their again!

Had the most amazing stay here, amazing food and spa and the friendliest staff. The Maya Blue spa is so relaxing and had an incredible massage and facial from Marisa. Couldn't fault any of it!

Visited Liverpool city in autumn to attend a football event and this hotel was in a perfect location for that. Lovely hotel room with great facilities and a clean bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay.

Stayed for xmas day and boxing day
Could not check in till 3pm due to covid cleaning so went out for walk and a meal checked in later .
Initially room seemed fine but in morning noticed room not hoovered properly sweets and beer top under coffee table also coffee stains on wall and thick dust on all skirting boards.
Spoke with cleaning supervisor who admitted her fault as she hadn't checked properly but I found that it being a busy period a bad excuse.
Complained to management who (Sean) who said they could not give a refund as we had booked through third party agent.
I feel third party agent did not clean the room blame is with Titanic so not happy. Awaiting response

Love the Titanic!!

Everytime I've visited, either for stays or for work events, everything about the Titanic is second to none!

Booking online was very easy. The spa staff are fantastic, very accommodating and put you at ease, great massage. Disappointed this time round on our room, I had paid for an upgrade but unfortunately this did not happen despite me querying this with the frosty reception staff who ignored me. Room had a strange odour, beds very comfy. The bar staff and food at hotel was very very good and drinks a good price.

Pleasant night stay. The bedroom was clean. Convenient location. I stayed at the hotel for one night as I was travelling through Liverpool.

I was meant to be travelling to Liverpool for an event. This was cancelled due to COVID.
I was still going to visit but my work in the NHS has needed me to cover more shifts. As such, I am unable to go to Liverpool.

There are currently no restaurants or bars open in Liverpool and the hotel is only providing room service.

I asked Titanic for at least a partial refund. Nothing. When we don't know when the crisis will end and with family budgets being stretched due to lay offs, what good is a re-booking in the coming months if we don't know what will be going on in the world.

Expecting us to pay full price when they are offering none of the normal services. Unwilling to amend their policy given the current crisis and frankly I think it's a bit disgusting.

Won't be staying there and I hope other people read this and don't want make bookings.

Fantastic nights sleep

One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in, in the last 10 years, room was a generous size, bathroom was to die for. Large comfy bed, couldn't complain about a thing. The staff were lovely and did anything they could to help!

Keep it up guys!

Afternoon tea 30 James street liverpool. We booked afternoon tea at the above. The day 27th September 2019 at 3.00pm. We knew there was a wedding on at 1.00pm but where told 3.00pm was fine. We arrived on time and were told they were not ready would we wait half hour. Also we told to go to 7th floor we thought tea would be served in large downstairs room and not in bar area. When we got to 7th floor it was very busy still with wedding quests. Waited a further half hour a d thought it better to leave.
If they at said at time of booking it would be too busy they could have given us another day. The afternoon tea is not cheap at nearly £40 for two. But thought it would be a nice treat especially as we travelled 20 miles to get there. I did email them to say why we left but got no answer to my email or apoligy.

We were looking forward to staying in this hotel and paid for a suite which looked lovely on the pictures and it was a complete let down, it was dirty and grubby, the carpets are filthy and ripped, shower was dirty, the finish could be a lot better for the price of hotel rooms, there are better hotels in the centre of Liverpool. We were woken in the night and again to cleaning trolleys, then came out of our room in the morning to cleaning trolleys parked outside our door, when i brought this up with the receptionist he wasn't interested and said he would mention it to management, but upon checking out didn't bother saying anything to me knowing i was tired and not pleased with our stay. I did not sleep well at this hotel.

Check out was late on sunday so we don't expect to be woken by cleaning trolleys in the morning and have them parked outside our room.

We had afternoon tea which was overpriced and over rated.

We had an evening meal, the starters were poor, 3 bread rolls with butter warmed up but the steak was ok, could be better for the hotels price range.

Breakfast was not the best could have been better quality.

I emailed the hotel about the shortcomings we experienced at this hotel and the response wasn't what i expected, no apologies made and they simply weren't interested that we had paid £225 for a suite for 1 night and expected far better than our night of horror and did not have an enjoyable stay or sleep at the hotel. My husband went outside the room after 3am as were woken during the night.

The replies to the poor reviews are not taken on board and they are already aware of the poor aspects of the hotel and are ready to argue with you and you get a poor response. So if you don't enjoy your stay here don't bother complaining that it was below standard as you will get a robotic response.

I didn't stay at the hotel but went for the morning to use the spa facilities - really nice and great value. Also had lunch in the restaurant and it was a good experience - tasty food and a lovely setting.

Enjoyed a very nice stay. Reception staff were personable. Will go again.

I'm fortunate to travel the world with work and i get to stay in some of the best hotels in the world. This place is up there! The staff are absolutely fantastic and do the little things that make such a huge difference.
Only complaint about the stay would be the room next door who haven't learned how to speak to each other without shouting! Maybe some soundproofing before our next visit?(although his 'performance' was amusing...all 30 seconds of it)
Can't wait to stay again.

Came here last week, had such a bad experience! Took it up with management only to receive rude and disrespectful replies. I don't think I've ever put a review on a hotel before but titanic has disappointed me massively! Anyone thinking of going here.. short and sweet - don't! There's much nicer places to go in Liverpool, with more reasonable prices and nicer staff/management who have a customer first policy. I wish I read the reviews and believed them so I didn't waste so much money here.
