I have been waiting for over two years to have my timeshare cancelled. I have been making payments to the timeshare company, as well as, to Timeshare Freedom Group. The salesman told me it would take up to one year to cancel my timeshare. It has been two plus and no results yet. I was told TFG would send out a cease and desist letter and I would be able to stop making payments to the timeshare. Of course, once I signed up for the program they changed their tune and told me I should continue making payments. In addition, my original attorney quit after after a year and a half and the clock started all over again. By the time this is completed I will have completely paid off the timeshare and wasted the money on the Timeshare Freedom Group. Its a SCAM. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

This company is a fraud! It been almost 3 years and they have not gotten me out of my timeshare.

It's been over 2 years and no communication about my case. I contacted them when it was my 2 year mark and said I wanted a refund. They said they would give me $500 to let them work on my case for another 6 months. I've been trying to get a hold my account rep and hasn't returned not 1 of my phone calls since she said she would credit me $500. This November would be 2 years and 6 months that they have my case and no communication on the status update. My case is the same as one that made a review. When I first started, they would call every month to see if I got anything in the mail, and they're working on it. Then that an attorney quit and needed a new lawyer and still nothing. I'm beyond upset with their lack of communication and not returning my phone calls. They said they would credit me $500 4 months ago and nothing had been received.

We started the process with Timeshare Freedom Group (TFG) on 27 Feb 2019. We paid an upfront fee of ~$8k. During this time we received phone calls advising of the progress (?) of our transition out of our timeshare w/ Holiday Inn Club Vacations. The phone calls were typically the same ("The process takes time, COVID really slowed things down, be patient, we get calls every day that a client is released from their contract, it should happen soon, etc."). TFG also changed lawyers because the previous lawyer didn't make progress. We started to worry after the 2 year mark and so we wrote a review here about our disappointment. TFG quickly contacted us to advise that out of good faith, they would refund some of our money because of their strong belief the process would be over soon... 7 months later and only one phone call w/ the same update. I recently requested a full refund of our money and only received an email advising management would contact us soon. Several days later, nothing.

We can't recommend TFG due to the lack of communication, unclear exit methods, and inability to provide the service we paid for. If we make progress (either complete release from our timeshare contract or full refund of our money), we'll gladly change this review.

Solo nosotros hemos puesto el empeño en comunicarnos siempre con ustedes y siempre nos salen con excusas de que nuestra representante no se encuentra disponible y que ella nos devolverá la llamada. Inclusive cambiamos de número telefónico y llamamos para informar del cambio hace como 1 mes y no hemos recibido ninguna llamada e información por ningún medio. me siento profundamente decepcionada.

They promised to get me out of my time share within 2 years or my money back and I didn't have to pay anything. I owed my time share 6000. The freedom group ask for the same amount. You ask why not just pay you time share off. The difference was I would not have to pay yearly fees. Right before the 2 years was up we get a call from a so called lawyer saying they need 6000 to get me out of the timeshare. Wow they suck and I'm screwed. I wish I could sue they for all those lies they fed me.

I'm very disappointed in how our account was handled. They have terrible follow up. In our case they waited until 2 days before our 24month contract was up to offer us a settlement which was a crazy amount. We were not given any time to negotiate and the lawyer did not follow up with us after the 24month deadline. This left us with a collection agency to deal with instead of Molfetta Law or Timeshare Freedom Group. For the amount of money we paid them I don't feel that we were treated fairly.

Fraud!!! No better than the time share itself. They make all kinds of promises and it's all lies.

I am more than concerned. It’s been 2 and a half years that I’ve been waiting for a resolution and in that time I’ve had 3 calls, 2 of which I had to initiate. About equally as many email. Just paid off $7k and nothing has changed. Considering the money I paid I expected way more Correspondence. This experience has been a nightmare and m feeling taken advantage of! Hopefully someone takes these reviews seriously enough to get it resolved!

It has been a great experience working with TimeshareFreedom Group. They were on point on explaining to me the details of the progress and were very professional. They got me out of my timeshares even though it take a little while little more than I thought it would but it happened… finally out of those contracts. And they are still working with me to make sure I do not get harassed by those timeshare companies again… at the beginning when I was shopping around a lot of timeshare removal companies could not even get out of the timeshares I had but TimeshareFreedom Group was able to handle those timeshare companies that I had… I am very satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend this company to others….

I purchased my Timeshare about 5 years ago. I was on vacation and felt like I was duped into a shady contract. Once I signed numbers changes and I was given a bunch of excuses as to why I couldn’t book it. I didn’t want it anymore especially since my fees were getting higher so I reached out to Timeshare Freedom Group. I signed with them in April of 2018 and got out in May of this year. The process took longer than I expected but at this point I’m just really glad to be out of this nightmare!

Stay away from this place. They will take your money and keep in contact the first couple of months. After that when you call to speak to the person assigned to your case. You can never get the person on the line. We paid $6,000 upfront and it’s been over 3 years of the same story. I wish I would have check out bbb.org because this place has an F rating and not credit.

My experience with the timeshare freedom group was exactly what I expected. It took a year (as they stated in the beginning) of payments. I believe my exit from my timeshare was prolonged due to the fact that the timeshare was being sued. So they were not trying to speak with the lawyers that were handling the case. Timeshare freedom group reached out each month to give me updates on what was going on and I appreciated them for that.

I started back with them in December 2019, and payed up front for their services. Up until March of this year was the last time I received an update on my situation. But even then when I did get updates, it was the same story over again - its with the lawyer and communicating with the resort. I really want to keep hope that they are doing what I paid for. Just really want to be done with this timeshare nonsense

So I waited and waited and it’s been two years and I have not received an offer. I have reached out them once the two year money back guarantee was available back in March of 2021 however, I see in the contract I signed that if they don’t get me an offer by the end of 24 months they have up to 36 months to try. I don’t wish to continue waiting and have been emailing and leaving messages with no response on a possible refund or even a status update of my Time Share. What a horrible experience, they used to call with useless monthly updates that I also no longer receive. The update calls consisted of someone telling you that they’re working on it but no details of what was filed on your behalf or the legal proceedings they might be taking on to get you an offer. I’m basically out $4,000 and still responsible for this time share and annual fees two years later with no response and no updates.

6 months in and nothing. We're still paying HGV for the maintenance fees. At the very least, we should hear from the law firm that supposedly is handling our case in CA. We trusted TFG but its starting to look like another con job. We've had our account handler changed out without any notification. I had to call the law firm in CA and got the same story most of you have already gotten. Tried to call my new account Manager but got no response after leaving a message. Emailed my new account Manager but got no response. I would imagine getting a refund for the payment to TFG is out of the question even though they advertised they could get you out of your timeshare but the reality is they can't. They suggested a settlement with HGV. This entire episode has left us poorer but smarter. File this one under hard lesson. Foreclosure here we come apparently.

Complete scam the company is a complete fraud!

Everyone was so helpful and always checked in on me with updates. I would recommend them to everyone who wants to get out of the timeshare racquet.

Timeshare Freedom Group help me to cancel my Timeshare with Hilton Grand Vacation. They did everything they said that they would do. I had excellent experience with them, and Mayana my Rep. was a wonderful person to work with she stayed in touch with us until completed.
We appreciate everything Timeshare Freedom Group done for us to cancel this night mire and bad experience. I would recommend Timeshare Freedom Group to anyone.

We were extremely naive and vulnerable. We assumed a lot of things. We assumed this company was being truthful and honest. We assumed by holding up our end of the deal and paying over $5,000 UPFRONT, we would be legally out of a Hilton Grand Vacation (HGV) timeshare that lied to us to get our business. We assumed Timeshare Freedom Group (TFG) would be more truthful and upfront than Hilton Grand Vacations. The sad and frustrating truth is the entire timeshare business is one big scam. Timeshare Freedom Group strung us along for two whole years, sending email “updates” stating everything was going smoothly and “the attorney” needed nothing else from us, and because we heard nothing from HGV we believed TFG was actually working on our behalf and HGV was instead speaking directly to “our attorney.” During the two years our account switched to at least five different account execs (red flag). Why is the company’s turnover so high? Over a year and a half into “the process,” we were contacted by TFG and told that our original attorney, had retired and we needed to resend documentation for a new attorney. That should’ve raised another red flag. Why couldn’t they send the documentation to the new attorney? We sent TFG copies as well. Right at the two year mark, we received a foreclosure letter from HGV anyway. We naturally contacted TFG because they have a clause in their contract stating that if they can’t/don’t get you out of your timeshare, you get your money back. Surprise, surprise: they consider a foreclosure getting you out of your timeshare. So we pretty much paid $5,000+ for TFG to do nothing but send an email once a month, if that, and call us once every 3 months....Unfortunately, if you want out of your timeshare, you’ll most likely have to just let it go into foreclosure. Save your money! TFG is just as much of a predator as the timeshare companies themselves.
