University of Illinois parking

Purchased parking for an Illinois football game in advance. Paid for lot 46, received a pass for Lot 49 (farther away and no grass). No acknowledgement this might happen; no refund in cost. Also, cost at the event = $25 to park. These guys charged $68 with fees. I understand the secondary market charges up, but really?? First time, last time. I'll never use them again.

The customer service was awful and we never received our ticket. They were rude and said that if we argue the payment they would win. We asked for proof tickets were sent and they couldn’t provide it. Scam

This business is a joke

This business is a joke. I purchased tickets and less than 2 hours the event was postponed. Recently the event was rescheduled for a different year and day of the week. I will no longer be in town to see the event next year. They refuse to do anything to help.

Didn’t get tickets I ordered

Didn’t get tickets I ordered. I had to call like 10 times just to get the run around till I started to sound fed up. The tickets I ended up get were in section 230 when the ones I ordered were 154. Was told I would receive an email about get 100$ back and was never received. The is very scam like behavior.

It's not hard to use your site or find…

It's not hard to use your site or find what you want but the description of what tickets I was getting exactly was poor. The tickets i ordered were not I thought I ordered according to your picture, so I was very displeased about that and when I called for an explanation the guy I talked to was clueless.

BEWARE TICKET CITY!!!!

I bought tickets from Ticket City with my credit card on MARCH 31, 2022 for a concert at CMAC on Sept. 1st (FIVE MONTHS LATER). I heard nothing from them until I called several days before my concert to see where my emailed tickets were. Not coming until Aug 29 (reminder - concert on Sept 1). I was looking all that day for my tickets, even at 4AM. No tickets.

I received an email from Ticket City on the 30th saying they were coming the 30th. TWO emails arrived late the afternoon of the 30th -- TWO EMAILS! WHY, WHEN I PLACED A SINGLE ORDER FOR 4 TICKETS. (Each email contained two tickets, huh?) WHY WAS MY ORDER DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS? Both emails had "accept" buttons, neither of which worked.

I started calling Ticket City. Hah! A joke. BUSY, BUSY, BUSY. Everyone who had ordered tickets across the country must have had trouble with the "accept" button. On the 31st, I then got on the chat line for several hrs, trying to get the accept button to work. I did everything as per the convo -- turned off fire wall (how'd you like to do that?), went between my phone then computer & back & forth again & again, installed & reinstalled apps such as Javascript, Ticketmaster, Live Nation, AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM TICKET CITY. Finally, and after way too much trouble, one button worked on one email. (THE OTHER ONE NEVER, EVER WORKED!0

One of the REMARKABLE things that happened during this chat is that Ticket City's (dis)service person told me to keep going into Ticket Master. I would get error messages WHICH SHE FINALLY TOLD ME WAS FROM GOING INTO TICKET MASTER TOO MUCH. This idiotic Ticket City person agreed that HER VERY INSTRUCTIONS were making the site think I was a BOT! Dumb, just plain stupid. This is what happens when you combine bad customer service and send TWO EMAILS WITH TWO ACCEPT BUTTONS.

The next day (Aug31) I spent hours and hours phoning and emailing Ticket City, then Ticket Master, back & forth, then going on a chat line for Ticket City again, in an attempt to get someone, anyone from either seller to help. Both sets of customer service ppl are absolutely useless! USELESS, with Ticket City WAY WORSE. THEY DON'T CARE IF YOU GET YOUR TICKETS; THEY ALREADY HAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! SO MUCH FOR ANY GUARNATEE.

BTW, and this is important, Ticket Master TOLD ME IT WAS TICKET CITY'S FAULT AND I HAD TO DEAL WITH THEM. Very interesting. Keep reading.

Then, I was on a 2nd chat for Ticket City the DAY OF THE CONCERT, JUST HOURS BEFORE THE CONCERT. Guess what?! The chat line stopped working. I couldn't type anything. Imagine: A ticket seller wanting to sell and send tickets digitally and their technology is terrible. I am computer literate; my computer is a yr old & my phone is a year old. I KNOW HOW TO USE BOTH and have been using computers and cell phones since their inception.

The time for the concert was fast approaching and we soon had to leave. I was desperately phoning & emailing and phoning & emailing. NO HELP! We sadly had to uninvite our friends, cancel dinner reservations and leave in a sweat. My husband and I plus our friends were frustrated, exasperated, and angry, very angry. When we arrived at the concert, other people were angry, too, that they were not able to use horrible tickets from these sellers. But I will remind you, TICKET CITY IS THE WORST!

I have since been trying to collect a refund from TICKET CITY for weeks. Reminder: I WAS TOLD BY TICKET MASTER THAT THIS WAS NOT THEIR FAULT AND I HAD TO DEAL WITH TICKET CITY, WHICH WILL NOT REFUND ONE HALF OF THE MONEY FOR THE TWO OF FOUR TICKETS I DILIGENTLY BOUGHT AND PAID FOR. THEY NOW claim it's Ticket Master's fault. WHAT!!!???

AVOID THIS COMPANY -- TICKET CITY -- AT ALL COSTS, even if it means sitting in the back row or buying tix at the venue proper or not even going to the event.

Realize also, that Ticket City can invite people to rate them on this site. I therefore find positive reviews suspicious. If you take positives out of the mix, this company does not do very well. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!! Believe the reviews that are negative, with the vast majority of these reviewers FINDING THE ACCEPT BUTTON DID NOT WORK AND THEY WILL RECEIVE NO REFUNDS!

I have written the State of NY (official Consumer Complaint as well as the Attorney General) asking them to not allow these scammers and con artists to sell tickets in the state. I will also write my Senators as well as appropriate Congressional committee people about regulating these terrible companies.

Such strategies work. I was able to get an online jewelry company reprimanded and monitored for selling counterfeits, as well as received a brand new model car from a well-know dealer to replace a brand new model car that they had ruined by spraying gunk on it. Don't give up!

In the meantime, AVOID TICKET CITY!!!!!!!!

I got my Refund with no Hassles!

The site that transfers your tickets went down an hour before the game, so I couldn't get my $579 UT vs Alabama tickets, and had to scalp some tickets to get in. I made one phone call Ticket City and they gave me a refund, I was very impressed that they did and was worried that they wouldn't. Ticket City has a loyal customer going forward.
