Organiser un séjour de groupe à l’étranger peut vite devenir complexe, mais tout a été géré avec un professionnalisme remarquable : hébergements parfaitement adaptés, logistique fluide, véhicules organisés avec précision, accompagnement constant et excellente communication avant et pendant le voyage.
Le choix des hôtels à Stellenbosch et au Cap était idéal pour notre groupe, et les recommandations d’activités et de découvertes ont permis à chacun de profiter pleinement du séjour, entre travail, détente et découverte de l’Afrique du Sud 🍷☀️
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la disponibilité et la réactivité de François et de son équipe tout au long du voyage. La rencontre organisée avec eux lors de notre dernière soirée autour d’un apéritif au Cap a été un vrai moment de convivialité que le groupe a adoré.

We had a wonderful self-drive holiday in South Africa organised by The Travel Café, and what we appreciated most was how personalised the whole experience felt from beginning to end.
François and Daniella really listened to what we wanted from our trip and created an itinerary around our interests rather than simply giving us a standard programme. We wanted to experience South Africa through its local culture and food, so they made sure we had opportunities to discover local cuisine, including Cape Malay food in Cape Town. They also gave us advice on booking tickets for a rugby match during our stay, which was very easy to attend from their extremely well-located Cape Town apartment.
We also appreciated how seriously the team takes feedback. After our stay in their Cape Town apartment, La Petite Étoile, we suggested that the two bedroom chairs would be more useful as luggage stands. They listened and have already replaced them with luggage holders — a small example, but one that says a lot about their approach and their willingness to continually improve the experience for future guests.
Another very special part of the trip was our stay at their Eco Mountain Lodge, Starry Starry Night – Route 62, near Montagu. It was lovely to meet François there in person and spend some time together. It made the whole relationship feel much more personal than simply booking a trip through an agency.
Our safari and the different food experiences were among the highlights of the journey, and throughout the trip we felt that a lot of thought had gone into creating an itinerary that suited us.
We would happily travel with The Travel Café again, and Namibia is already high on our list. We would love for François and his team to accompany us in planning our next self-drive adventure there!

Nous revenons d'un merveilleux voyage en Afrique du Sud, organisé par The Travel Café, et nous ne pouvons que les recommander !
Tout était parfaitement préparé, du début à la fin. L'application TravelKey est un véritable atout : très pratique, intuitive et rassurante pour suivre l'itinéraire. Le suivi via WhatsApp avant et pendant tout le séjour a également été exceptionnel. Charlotte & François ont toujours été extrêmement réactifs, disponibles et efficaces, trouvant rapidement une solution au moindre imprévu.
Le point culminant de notre voyage a sans aucun doute été notre séjour au Zazu Lodge, dans une réserve privée. Les safaris y étaient absolument extraordinaires ! Les guides étaient passionnés, attentifs et ont tout mis en œuvre pour rendre chaque sortie inoubliable.
Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions, comme les cadeaux de bienvenue, qui rendent l'expérience encore plus spéciale.
Comme lors de tout voyage d'aventure, nous avons rencontré quelques petits désagréments, mais Charlotte & François ont toujours réagi immédiatement et nous ont proposé des solutions adaptées. C'est très rassurant de pouvoir compter sur une équipe aussi professionnelle, attentionnée et à l’écoute.

An incredible adventure
We had the most incredible experience with The Travel Cafe Cape Town and are so grateful for the care and attention that went into planning our trip. Every accommodation was wonderful, with Thabamati Luxury Tented Camp being truly exceptional — the most beautiful place we have ever stayed and somewhere that now holds a very special place in our hearts. Notre voyage en Afrique du Sud avec The Travel Café Cape Town a été une expérience absolument inoubliable 🌍✨
Tout était parfaitement organisé du début à la fin : les hébergements magnifiques, les safaris exceptionnels, les restaurants soigneusement sélectionnés et les nombreuses recommandations qui nous ont permis de découvrir l’Afrique du Sud de manière authentique et fluide.
Nous avons particulièrement adoré notre séjour à Lalibela Wildlife Reserve, tout simplement exceptionnel, ainsi que les moments passés à Starry Starry Night sur la Route 62 avec ses paysages incroyables et son jacuzzi au feu de bois 😍 Les safaris resteront gravés dans nos mémoires, tout comme la découverte du Cap, des vignobles et de la péninsule.
L’accompagnement du Travel Café avant et pendant le voyage a été irréprochable : mini-site ultra pratique, application TravelKey, assistance WhatsApp… tout était pensé pour voyager sereinement en famille.
Après de nombreux voyages organisés avec différentes agences, nous pouvons sincèrement dire que Le Travel Café Cape Town est l’une des meilleures agences que nous ayons expérimentées. Nous avons déjà recommandé l’agence à plusieurs amis tellement nous avons été conquis.

Je reviens d’un deuxième voyage absolument magique avec le Travel Café Cape Town… après avoir découvert l’Afrique du Sud avec eux il y a deux ans, cette fois-ci direction la Namibie 🇳🇦✨
Et une fois encore, tout était exceptionnel du début à la fin.
Ce qui me frappe toujours avec cette équipe, c’est la qualité remarquable des hébergements proposés. Chaque lodge avait son atmosphère, son charme et une situation incroyable au cœur de paysages à couper le souffle.
Ce voyage a été une succession de moments forts : les dunes majestueuses de Sossusvlei, le vol en montgolfière au lever du soleil, Sandwich Harbour, les safaris à Etosha, les rencontres avec les peuples Himba et du Damaraland… Des rencontres incroyables et des lieux d’une rare beauté.
Mention spéciale également à notre guide francophone Pascoal et à notre chauffeur Christy, qui ont largement contribué à rendre cette aventure humaine si fluide et enrichissante ❤️
Avec le Travel Café, je voyage toujours avec une vraie sérénité. Je n’ai jamais aucune inquiétude avec ce qu’ils proposent : tout est parfaitement préparé, l’équipe est attentive, disponible et réellement à l’écoute.
Les restaurants et les lodges étaient excellents — et les buffets namibiens resteront un très bon souvenir 😄

Our safari adventure
Our safari adventure, with family members across three different generations, was an incredible experience from start to finish. The accommodation throughout the trip was excellent, and we truly loved our stays at Ichingo Chobe River Lodge, Chobe House, and the camping sleep-out, which was a real highlight.
The activities were a wonderful mix, with the game drives, boat experiences, and cultural visits all standing out. The visit to the school, the church, and especially the football match were magical and gave us such a meaningful connection to local life. These moments, together with the wildlife experiences, will stay with us for a long time.
Everything was very well organised by JD, Charlotte and the team, from transfers to day-to-day logistics, and the support before and during the trip made the whole journey feel seamless and stress-free.
Overall, a truly memorable family adventure that exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely travel with The Travel Café again.

From the initial contact requesting information about the small group 14 day Essentials tour of South Africa, through the zoom call, the emails, by the time we arrived in Cape Town we felt like we were visiting with old friends. I wish I could post 15 stars. Our experience with Charlotte at the Travel Cafe was over and above any travel experience I have ever had. Charlotte took care of every detail we could dream of and many that had not even occurred to us. Our accommodations, transport, locations etc were ideal. We return to our world utterly replenished and ready to take any trip that Charlotte plans for us. I cannot recommend Travel Cafe highly enough, also a foray to their side venture Starry Starry night was deeply memorable and exquisite. We are people who have always booked our own adventure and may have been slightly reluctant to work with a Travel Agent. "What can they do that we don't know how to do?" Well, we're here to tell you, almost anything and everything you can imagine. This was the most relaxing, eye popping vacation we've had in memory and this has everything to do with Charlotte.

Our recent trip to South Africa organised by JD, Francois & The Travel Cafe Team went far beyond our expectations. The itinerary was varied making the adventure exciting and diverse suiting all our wishes. Every aspect of the trip was professionally organised from the initial communication we had with JD, to our flight details, transfers, accommodation and excursions. The travel app we were given was a great addition and easily navigated for all information regarding the trip including documents for boarding passes, local information etc. Our only worry is that if we are to book another holiday like our SA experience they won’t live up to The Travel Cafe’s expertise. Travel Cafe were absolutely brilliant
Travel Cafe were absolutely brilliant. We did the South Africa Essentials tour in November 2025. They were so caring and went over and beyond to keep us informed and in touch, the personal touch was impressive. The intinery was provided in not only hardcopy form, but also in a dedicated app. A WhatsApp group was created so that we were always able to communicate with the owners and very helpful staff of this small and friendly South African tour company. Care was taken in producing a varied and interesting itinery that went not only to the 'must sees', but also places not always on the regular route followed by many companies. We did the Garden Route add on at the end of the tour, which was great for us to have some time on our own and relax a little in a safe environment. Overall the pace of the tour was perfect, we were not rushed and didn't cover huge distances by road. The experiences and informative guides gave us a comprehensive insight into South Africa, its culture and people. The small group tour made everything cosy and friendly and looked after everything including all experiences and meals, we also enjoyed trying a lot of the different cuisines in South Africa. We thoroughly recommend Travel Cafe.

La préparation du voyage
La préparation du voyage, la clarté des présentations, les descriptions précises des activités et le suivi constant pendant tout le voyage sont tout simplement exceptionnels. L'application est remarquable et vraiment très pratique. Vous êtes très nettement au-dessus de la plupart des agences de voyages. Le fait d'avoir eu la chance de vous rencontrer et de se lier amicalement avec chacun a rendu ce voyage vraiment exceptionnel.
Nous avons énormément apprécié le rythme de ce voyage avec 2 nuits minimum par étape dont les 5 nuits au Cap qui nous ont permis de bien connaître la ville, la durée modérée des trajets, l'excellent confort des hôtels et les restaurant dans leur ensemble.
Je n'ai pas l'habitude d'être dithyrambique, mais tout dans ce voyage était exceptionnel, en particulier la qualité de l'accompagnement, le rythme relativement paisible et la grande qualité de l'hôtellerie. Je recommanderai sans aucune hésitation votre agence.
