I ordered a women’s three piece (tailored) suit and paid the extra for 14 day priority. I placed the order and paid in full. Received a confirmation email straight after followed by another to say it was in process. As it was getting closer to the 14 (working) day priority I still hadn’t received anything. I logged onto my account to see it was still in process. As I wanted this for a wedding I started to stress. I sent an email to the address it stated, no reply. Following this I searched the company on google, something I should have done prior to ordering.I was horrified to see the comments on trust pilot. I was thankful I had used PayPal to make this purchase. I proceeded to open a case to get a full refund. A week after it’s original due date I received an email from the British tweed company to say my order had been dispatched (still wasn’t holding out much hope). An email from DHL followed to say my item had been picked up and would be delivered the following Monday. At this point I still wasn’t convinced it would turn up. What a shock I got on Monday (10 days after it should have been delivered), my suit arrived!!! Okay so it’s too late for the wedding which meant I had to spend even more money to get another outfit. The company did however include a pocket watch, a tie pin and a little lavender pillow to keep my suit smelling fresh. A little note was included to apologise. All in all the customer service was very slow but my goods did arrive…eventually. I have since cancelled the case with PayPal.

As stated by many here, this company seems to be more or less out of business. They will happily take your money and send you a confirmation e-mail and that is the last you will hear from them. Do not buy from them.

I ordered a suit on 8th May, 14 July still not here, no response at all to several emails and voice mails. Now have refund from PayPal. DO NOT USE !

A terrible company. Ordered a suit, they gladly took payment, but then did not communicate with me at all. Date for completion of suit came and went but still nothing from the company. I tried ringing and email but no help from the company at all. Had to go to pay Pal to get my money back. A really bad experience. Do not use.

A complete sham of a company!

I ordered a waistcoat for my wedding back in May, 4 weeks ahead of the date.

It's now July; I still have no waistcoat, no reply to 3 emails, I've left numerous VMs.

Does this company actually exist??

I believe this is a fraudulent company. My experiences of it were certainly fraudulent ( or perfectly incompetent) and a glance at Company House seems to suggest they are constantly on the edge if being struck off the register. In any case, got my money back from PayPal and do not buy anything from this company ( if it actually even exists).

Ordered a suit for my upcoming wedding at the beginning of march. After the 25 days they state as the avg. time needed to complete an order had past, I sent an email to enquire about the status. No reply. one week later another try via the phone, reached their voice mail, left message. No reply. After another week or so, with another couple of tries to get them on the phone, I escalated the case with Paypal and just got my money back.

I ordered a waistcoat for my wedding at the end of this year on 24 January 2021. I received an automated confirmation of order email that day and didn't hear anything following this. After a fortnight of no communication I browsed the reviews on this site and was a little concerned that I might not receive my order. I followed up via email but received no response, but on 24 February received my order in Australia. The negative reviews would still make me a little hesitant ordering again but overall the quality of the product is great (but snug relative to my other waistcoats for the size), but this business really needs to improve their communication.

I ordered 2x 3 piece suits in late 2020, one for myself and one for a friend, and they both arrived fairly quickly. However the waists on both trousers were absolutely massive despite following the measurement guides online. Upon measuring the waists of the trousers they were over 3 inches over the measurements we gave. I've tried contacting them numerous berious times about a return and not once have they got back to me. Once they've got your money they aren't interested. I'll take the trousers to be altered at a reputable company at my own expense and will not ordered from here again.

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING on this website - it is an absolute scam. We ordered a ladies 3pc suit for which the company was very happy to take payment in full in advance. Then we were offered no choice when a GBP20 additional DHL delivery charge was added even though the suit was supposed to have been delivered free of charge.

We need to gather together seek legal action!

SCAM ALERT
I ordered and paid for my £290 made to measure tweed suit in Feb 2020 and still hasn't arrived. Can't get hold of them, no replies on email, phone sounds disconnected Started well, web site looks great but after a short delay I was contacted, only after chasing numerous times to say it had been dispatched and apologising for the delay. Never had any further contact. Still no suit.

Avoid this company

I ordered a tailored suit but the company has not delivered. They have not replyed to any emails. I have now asked Paypal to help.

No response at all to a pre-order enquiry which rather sets the scenario up and so glad I didn't proceed to buy and went with my gut feeling about the company - so buy from here at your peril! This is a company that seems to set itself up to fail and deceive and never trust a company that can't easily be contacted and provides not even a phone number to do so! Don't be deceived by the glossy website and be guided by the reviews, the majority of which are very poor which is for good reason.

I bought a made to measure suite. Trying to contact this company is impossible. I know there is a Covid 19 problem but they just don’t answer any messages. After complaining to PayPal and them getting involved I finally got my 3 piece suit. The trouser are too long but the Jacket fits. The waistcoat is tiny and at least 3 to 4 inches gap to fasten a button. Yet again I’ve tried to contact them and again they never answer an e-Mail.
When you buy they say it’s free postage but at the end add £20 postage through DHL.
This company is an absolute joke and anyone would be mad to purchase a pair of socks from them let alone a made to measure suit.

I placed an order for a jacket and waistcoat in Jan 2020 and paid in full as required, over £200.
Nearly a year later, no jacket, no refund and on the very rare occasion they respond to an email it’s all BULLSHOT !!!

Hi all ... first of all, I’m a real person! I was really nervous as I read all these bad reviews after I placed my order, but I kept the faith and waited the 4 weeks, and I received an email saying it was complete! 5 weeks ago I purchased a waistcoat and today it arrived and it is beautiful! In my opinion really well made and I’m so excited to gift it to my dad who has had a really hard year, so thank you TBTC!
I think the issue here is that the communication from the company is lacking, possible due to covid. And the website isn’t massively clear on lead times before or upon ordering (unless I missed the note). If that can be rectified to make it super clear to purchasers then I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone!

No product, no response to emails, having to go through bank to claim.back the money.

I placed an order for a jacket in early July, contacted the company in late August when it hadn’t arrived. Didn’t get a response. Unable to contact them by phone. Contacted them again a week later, and a week after that I got a very apologetic email offering a full refund. I agreed. One month later still no refund, so I have now contacted my credit card company to try and get it refunded through them . I so wanted to believe that they are a legitimate company, but I’m afraid I’ve come to the conclusion that they probably aren’t. It’s a pity as I couldn’t find anywhere else to get a boy’s tweed jacket.

Same as many on here since covid - avoid this company and dispute with your bank/paypal if you have paid them, as they will not respond to your queries and, to date, I have not received the item I ordered in August. Getting married in less than 4 weeks time and things are already complicated with covid, without having to deal with dishonest and misleading companies on top.
