Contacted customer service through web chat - after going through a few questions - I was transferedd promptly to a customer service rep from the bot - Gemma K helped me with my order issue straight away and without issue. 5* servicee, 5* products.

Excellent, efficient service from Charlotte. I love SB and have been a loyal customer for many years. Customer service is always personal and the team strive to go above and beyond.

Purchased a Nimbus Coat in October 2025 for €425 via Sweaty Betty's EU website. The coat developed a waterproofing fault, for which Sweaty Betty issued a replacement in February 2026. The replacement coat then developed a separate zip fault, rendering it unwearable within months of receipt.

When I requested a refund ,given that two successive garments had failed ,Sweaty Betty declined, citing the time elapsed since the original purchase. Throughout our correspondence, they applied UK consumer law (the Consumer Rights Act 2015), despite the fact that I am an Irish consumer who purchased through their EU storefront. Under Irish consumer law (Consumer Rights Act 2022, transposing EU Directive 2019/771) and the Rome I Regulation, Irish law applies to this transaction, including a two-year conformity presumption period — not the six months Sweaty Betty referenced.
After exhausting their internal complaints process, I have now escalated the matter to the European Consumer Centre Ireland.

I would not recommend purchasing high-value items from Sweaty Betty if you are an EU-based consumer, as their approach to faulty goods claims does not reflect your statutory rights.

So I originally experienced significant issues with my order. My order never shipped and after multiple attempts to reach out to customer service with no response, I finally disputed the charge. Madeleine from customer service reached out shortly afterwards to apologize and remedy the situation. I appreciate her professionalism and kindness in making things right.

My parcel was showing as delayed with no further movement, contacted the customer services team, Madeleine was fantastic and replaced my order with express delivery. Fantastic help from them.

I bought some leggings for my partner and I paid for next day delivery. I received the leggings 5 days late! I also message SB about my dissatisfaction about paying for and not getting next day delivery and no response. Pretty poor of sweaty Betty as you shouldn’t give next day option of you can’t meet the deadline.

Excellent help trying to track my order delivery down and eventually found the parcel. Regrettably it took me a few times to try to get an answer from the chat box customer service team as no one was picking up and I was kept waiting for too long on each occasion . Would much prefer a telephone number option so that I can speak to someone .

Spent a fair amount of money online. Unfortunately 2 sports bras and 1 pair of shorts not fit for purpose/ poor quality. Trying now to get hold of customer services to seek out how to return. No response now - just automated emails saying they will respond in 3 days, then 5 days.. and now 7 days. Can’t get hold of any human via chat service either. Dreadful customer experience. Can’t someone get in contact and advise if next steps.

Very helpful staff. I made a mistake returning an item scanned the wrong qr code, but they have quickly and politely corrected my mistake.

I ordered over £150 worth of clothes but 25 days later, it still hasn't arrived. I've sent emails to customer care - no reply. I've chatted endlessly with their customer care bot and been promised a transfer to a real live human - it's not happened. Terrible service

I have now bought 3 Power Pulse bras since May 2022. 2 x white ones and 1 x black. Yesterday I submitted a complaint to the Customer Care team because I've started using one of the white and one of the black ones - and already after only 6 x 60m wearing, the white one has started showing signs of fraying on the straps. They are washed in a special cotton bag at low heat without fabric softener and are worn under an athlete vest so friction isn't the issue - I don't know what's going on lately with SB quality, 3 bits of the logo of the Power Shorts just peeled off last week on its first wear (in the heat). I've been an SB customer since 2002 when they just had their Notting Hill store, and have tops and leggings from back then that STILL hold up - but everything lately is such poor quality. Waiting on response from customer service but I'm going to guess like the response to many of these other complaints, a simple "sorry it didn't work for you" message back. DO BETTER!

Really poor customer service 4 days now still no sign of my items out for delivery i had same experience as other reviewer chat bot can't find a record of my order and then transferring me to a human with no success. Then emailed customer care and they say it takes 5 days to respond. Really poor service when you spend a lot with them. I still awaiting them to get back to me. Won't be ordering from them again.

I spent over the amount for free 3 day delivery on 20th June, 9 days later still no delivery and no notification from either Sweaty Betty or the delivery company. Buy Sweaty Betty have no way of contacting them to get a resolution. They only offer their "Chat" facility which took my details and said it was transferring me to a human, but that was at 12.20, its 15.13 now and the chat just says that it's left the conversation, there's no way for me to continue the conversation and the "transferring" text is just cycling with no resolution. From now on I will only buy from companies that take Customer Care seriously with a direct human contact easily available. I will now cancel the order via my credit card.

Had to contact sweaty Betty about a return tried twice with emails which were not helpful then tried the chat which could not help so waited for an advisor. Waited 30mins for an advisor which was not ideal but have to say that Gemma K was very helpful and efficient and sorted it all out instantly. It’s a shame that it takes so much time to contact the company but cannot fault the agent who dealt with my claim

Just had a live chat with customer service and spoke to Charlotte C. Needed help with a return and she was able to cancel my original return and complete a new one for me. Excellent customer service as always from SB.

I love, love, love their sportswear and as a person who is in the gym alot I generally wear nothing else, I have more than 12 pairs of their leggings, though I have tried other brands.

However, their customer service is abysmal and considering the cost of their products, it should not be. The chat bot is awful and the transfer to a customer service agent takes forever. Once you get through they are ineffective.
I ordered full length leggings instead of 7/8. Almost as soon as I paid I realised and contacted them asking them to cancel or change the order. There systems do not allow this which means it has to come all the way to me for me to return. What kind of carbon footprint is that creating.
This is not first time I have had an issue last time it took forever to get a response. In the past their Customer service was quite good now it will make me think twice about ordering from them anymore.
Really disappointing

Keren was really really helpful, suggested alternatives for pairing but also going through stock to find the right sizes.

Really positive culture in store and everyone was very happy and uplifting.

Horrendous customer support. They act like they are making you a favour for letting you buy their stuff. Their prices are high, quality is going downhill and yet they are one of the least helpful CS that you can find. My order was a few good days late and all they did was to send me a tracking link over and over again- cheers, I can read

Power leggings are unreal. Highly recommend. Contacting customer services is a bit of a nightmare. A UK call centre would be a lot easier than trying to get through on chat. Other than that, I've been happy with my purchases so far.

It was my second time I was purchasing my second pair of leggings.
Was really hard to get through to a person on live chat, But when I got through to a person, Emma resolved my query straight away. Thank you Emma
Oh and highly recommend soft yoga leggings, had them for years, now was the time to get a new pair.
