Purchased an item, worn twice, washed once, it developed a hole. Contacted customer services on 1st June, waited over a week for a response.

3 weeks after that was promised a replacement. Since 23rd June I have had no replacement, and no response to my emails. Disgusted. Seems impossible to get through to them.

I have made numerous purchases from Sweaty Betty, both online and in store, over many years. Customer support previously had an excellent reputation, but unfortunately this is no longer consistent with my experience.

I placed an online order for almost €400 using PayPal. The amount was debited from my Revolut account, but I received no order confirmation, cancellation notice or other communication from Sweaty Betty to indicate that the order had not been processed.

After nine days, with the funds still unavailable to me, I contacted customer support. Reaching an agent was extremely difficult. I remained first in the queue for over an hour and was repeatedly directed to a chatbot that did not recognise my order details or provide any meaningful assistance.

When I eventually spoke to an agent, I was informed that the payment provider had identified an issue with the transaction and that the order had been unsuccessful. However, the agent was unable to explain what had happened, why I had not been notified, or why the payment had not been released. The agent repeatedly described the payment provider as operating independently of Sweaty Betty and stated that the payment process was therefore outside the company’s direct control.

I was advised that the payment might remain pending for 5–10 working days and that I should contact PayPal if it was not returned. However, PayPal had advised that Sweaty Betty needed to reject or release the transaction. Despite this, the agent did not appear willing or able to escalate the issue to the relevant finance or payments team.

I understand that payment failures can occur. However, it is not acceptable for almost €400 to be debited and remain unavailable for more than a week for an order that was never processed, without any communication from the retailer. The payment system forms part of Sweaty Betty’s checkout process, and customers should not be left to resolve failures between the retailer and its payment provider.

There was no clear resolution, no explanation, and no meaningful apology. The chat was also closed before I had an opportunity to read and respond to the agent’s final messages.

Worst experience ever…got in touch with them after two weeks of waiting of my order….was waiting an hour on their web chat and after that I was cut of after ,,Hi” than i was transferred to someone and for this I was waiting again but i just give up…and at the end I emailed them….no respond…and final their return money without any communication…never again…

Keill was very helpful in providing answers to my questions. SB is a great brand, I know if I buy a product I will be happy, it looks good and lasts a long time. SB are also very generous with their discounts and sales.

I placed an order 26th June and received an email on 29th June saying the order was waiting to be picked up by the courier since then I have had no update. I tried contacting customer service through the bot and was waiting ages to be transferred to someone which never happened. I then raised a ticket and having to wait 7 days for a response. Have been checking the tracking and ticket daily but have received no update. I have ordered from Sweaty Betty many times over the years and have always received my orders quickly but this has been ridiculous and the lead time for a response is not acceptable

I made an order on 2.7.26. I received text on 5.7.26 saying order delayed . This was supposed to be a click and collect order from Waitrose. I then received a message on 6,7,26 saying delayed . Since then I have had no communication at all . I have sent an email and have had no response from customer services and spent hours on chat awaiting to be transferred to customer services at Chat Bot cant resolve . I am really disappointed with service which is a shame as I like the products .

I ordered some running shorts for my daughter's birthday on 28th June.It had an incorrect postcode CH39EH and should be CH39HD.Evri are withholding
the parcel.I contacted Sweaty Betty 4th July asking them to resend or provide me with a refund but they have not replied.Order no.is UKO9471530.My daughter's birthday has now passed.Customer service is appalling.

Great response and resolved issue

The ladies working in the store were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I needed a bit of kindness and they gave me that that day.
In the end the length I needed in the chinos were not available in the store, so I bought them online in store EU01733737.

I returned several items to Sweaty Betty recently, and they've overlooked the refund for one of them. Trying to sort this out with customer service has been a real hassle. I have submitted two web forms which have gone unanswered and you bot live chat doesn't transfer to anyone. It would be great if someone from their team could reach out to help resolve this issue. I love Sweaty Betty, but the online customer service is awful! The transferring process takes ages, and then once you take to someone the process takes forever! 30 minutes to transfer to someone who then takes 20 minutes to sort stuff. She was lively but the whole process takes forever. They're obviously talking to other people whilst talking to you.
This customer service plan is disastrous.

I’ve had many orders from Sweaty Betty but unfortunately if you have an issue they are impossible to contact. Live chat, there is no response and messaging takes 7 days to respond. When you have an order that is clearly missing there is a problem. Unfortunately using an incompetent courier like Evri also adds to the problem.

I love Sweaty Betty so do not want to leave a bad review. However, I placed an order on 29th June for £75 which was delayed and supposed to be delivered on 3rd/4th July, but then I heard no more, it's just gone quiet.

They are impossible to contact, there is no phone number, and I have been trying to speak to an advisor on webchat for days but it just says transferring, then gets stuck churning for hours and never puts me through to anyone. I tried sending an email a few days ago, but that automated reply says it can take up to 7 days for a response!

I have been ordering from them for years with no issues, in fact brilliant service, so what has suddenly happened to them, as I see many other reviews saying the same thing.

I do not know how else to get in touch, and need an update on my order, I have never had any trouble with SB before, but it is ridiculous that I can't get hold of anyone, I am getting very frustrated with the lack of customer service, and need to know where ny parcel is.

So I am hoping that someone there will see this and update me on order #UK09473421 please, otherwise refund me!
