Initially given wrong advice about an issue which is why they lost a star. Once told, they were very quick to assist but collecting my car and bringing me a hire car. The issue was remedied under warranty. Overall I was pleased with the service provided.

Maz looked after me really well and genuinely went above and beyond. He took the time to sort out a few issues with my car that could have easily been overlooked, and made sure everything was done properly. You can tell he actually cares about the work and the customer, which is rare to find. Highly recommend.

I am fortunate so i didn't need the car - if i did I can imagine it would have been a problem as you could not get the parts. That was not a problem for me .....

Expectations versus Reality
Purchasing a used Mercedes-Benz was once considered an exciting and positive milestone, especially when the vehicle was acquired for £36,950 without having seen it in person. There is a general expectation that trusting a car dealer should be a given, yet, in practice, this trust often proves to be misplaced.
Condition of the Vehicle
The reality of the purchase was disappointing. The SL model arrived in a condition far below what was anticipated. Notable issues included buckled wheels, misted headlights, and green mould forming around the roof mechanism. These faults contributed to an overall negative impression of the vehicle.
Dealer Response and Warranty Issues
When confronted with the problem of the wheels, the dealer responded by sending a replacement within two weeks. However, other issues proved more costly. The bill for the headlights amounted to £3,500, which was particularly disheartening given that the car had a warranty. Unfortunately, this warranty proved ineffective; attempts to claim or even enquire were met with efficient obstruction by the Mercedes warranty system.
Advice for Future Buyers
Based on this experience, my advice is to seek out a dealer who operates with genuine integrity.

A great experience from start to finish with the problem solved, plus a second problem identified and also fixed.

Catalogue of faults on a £100k+ vehicle that needed a complete PCM replacement after two years of reporting faults (computer that controls most systems).
Currently no effective Porsche Sat nav that provides essential range planning, infotainment system cuts out / buffers and periodic failure of all digital screens and dashboard is an ongoing issue. Branch advice that they are awaiting a Porsche software update but have no timescales is, I’m sure, true but doesn’t deal with the problems being experienced. GREAT car when it’s working but sadly there’s been too many issues. Satisfied - most definitely not.
