If you can’t find the fabric you need at Spoonflower, it isn’t made!
Since the fabric is printed when you order, it may take a couple of weeks to get it, but it is always worth the wait.
Ordering is so easy and I love the way it comes package with a sweet note of thanks or a little gift.

Spent over $500 on peel and stick wallpaper for my apartment only for it to start falling 2 months after application. Reached out to Spoonflower support and was told since I was beyond the 30 day window I wasn’t entitled to a refund. Don’t waste your money on the peel and stick!!!

I am saddened to write this. I shopped with spoonflower for 7 years, spending well over $100,000 and referring people to the site as my brand grew over the years. I developed a great relationship with spoonflower before they were bought out by Shutterfly. They truly cared about the products they were sending and the quality. Any issues that ever arose, they would make it right no questions asked.
This all changed this year. After placing a $15,000 order in January that came out perfectly, I thought as long as I asked them to oversee the order everything would be fine moving forward. In April, i started to see fellow small buisness owners compain about how horrible the print quality of the fabric is. I did not want to believe it. I thought maybe it was a fluke. I ordered multiple times, ordering the same fabric i have recieved from them that was printed vivid and bright, but this time, the fabric was faded, the colors were different, and to put it lightly it looked like crap.
They raised their prices and the quality went down the drain. When you order from them now, you will not recieve the fabric you see on your screen. It used to be that you would recieve fabric that looked exactly like the digital file, and now it looks like its been washed 10 times. faded, drab, and inconsistent.
The customer experience is no longer a concern, they claim they "updated their software" but i don't understand how a software update can make things worse. The small buisness community i am in speaks very openly about this. getting a consistent product for almost a decade, and all of a sudden it looks bad and they tell you well thats just the software update. They told me from now on, no fabric will look like it did earlier this year.
They refunded me for one of the three recent fabrics i ordered, so you will get a refund if you arent satisfied. They aren't crooks. But I literally cannot spend another dollar on this company because to run a clothing business you can't work with fabric that looks different :( its honestly devastating.
I write this in hopes that i can change this review one day and they will change back to the way it was. I want more than anything for them to realize that quality is more important than anything, I'm sure they are losing a ton of money from the people who have issues with their orders.
I literally think about how sad this is all the time because after so many years you feel a sense of loyalty to the brand. Hoping this isnt permanent and eventually i can rely on them for my business again. But until then. I would avoid purchasing if you run a business and rely on consistency.

Ordered 6 rolls of wallpaper. Decided to extend our project so I ordered 2 more rolls. As we were putting the wallpaper up we noticed that there was a shade difference. Checked the resign. All 8 rolls had the same number. When I contacted customer service I got a response the basically said we are not refunding you the 2 rolls but they would give me store credit. I am chalking it up as a $600 mistake. If you choose to go with this company. Read the fine print. Order more then you think because their lot colors constantly change. At least Sherwin Williams doesn’t change their colors with every can made. Very disappointed

Don’t buy the non-pasted wallpaper. The ink lifts off, and it’s so solid it can’t bend around corners well. Sadly I bought a lot, spent thousands of dollars, and Spoonflower customer service are so slow to deal with the problems that I have also lots a lot of money on wasted decorator time, and lost my decorator because they took days to reply to each communication. They knew it was urgent and didn’t care. Currently they have told me they will give me store credit for all the faulty wallpaper but only given me credit for 1/3 of the faulty wallpaper! For a week I’ve been trying to contact them but received no response. I won’t ever buy wallpaper from them again. Couldn’t be more disappointed by the poor quality and poor customer service.

I purchased some wallpaper at full price. Less than 24 hours later, the wallpaper was on sale for 25% off. I asked if they could price adjust and they said no. I asked if I could return once I received it, they said no. The representative then said I could return and rebuy but only if my order hadn’t shipped yet. Naturally, they already shipped my order (again, less than 24 hours since I purchased it- which is ordinarily a good thing). Look, I would understand not adjusting if it had been days or a week later and I would never have asked, but less than 24 hours? And to say that you would allow me to cancel and rebuy-purchase with the discount but since it just shipped within the hour, now there’s suddenly nothing you can do? Adding insult to injury, the service representative offered to get a supervisor and the supervisor never responded to me. This is just unacceptable. At this point, it isn’t about the money back, it is that this company is perfectly okay with operating this way. I will never purchase from them again.
I ordered 2 rolls of 5 different wallpaper designs for a project where Spoonflower was specified by the interior designer. The day after my original order I placed another order for 15 rolls of another wallpaper design.
My wallpaper subcontractor installed all 10 rolls of the first order, 2 rolls in each "Spa" room. Once the wallpaper had dried 6 of the 10 rolls had manufacturing issues which showed the colors on the left side of the wallpaper fading to a lighter color. I had to notify Spoonflower with photos, have new wallpaper manufactured and sent to me. I then had to have my installer remove the wallpaper he originally installed and pay him to install the new paper. A couple of days later he then installed the second order of wallpaper (the 15 roll order) for me. Unfortunately he over ordered the 2nd shipment and we only needed 10 of the 15 rolls ordered. I requested to return the 5 extra rolls for a refund and I was told they do not accept returns and they couldn't take them back. Well I don't accept paying to have their wallpaper installed twice due to their errors, but i had to make an exception and was given no choice but having to pay my installer 2X. I think their position of not accepting returns was rather short sighted on their part considering all the circumstances. Then they sent me an automated email to rate their customer service when the refused my return?? Seriously? I will not be using them again in the future.
I just paid over $200 for bed sheets but the color is not even close to what is shown on the website. The website shows a vibrant brown pattern but the sheets I received are a faded pink color.
Also, the quality is extremely poor. They website claims they get softer after a couple of washes but they are just still terrible quality.
In response to spoonflower’s reply: my review is about all my experiences over the past 5 years and not 1 experience.
I’ve spent at least $50,000-$100,000 with spoonflower over the past 5yrs for my small business. I will say their customer service is good and they will send replacements for items in your order if there is a printing issue. However, just about every single order I’ve placed has had numerous fabrics with poor printing quality. Blurry printing, dull color, print lines across every few inches, occasional dark inch splotches on fabric designs that don’t use any dark colors, and if you reorder the same fabric at different times; the color inconsistency is terrible and you’ll get different colors each time. And keep in mind, even though they send replacements; I’d estimate about 50% of the time the replacements aren’t better at all or are only slightly better.
I would dread mail day when my orders arrived because I knew there was always going to be quality issues and disappointment. When you’re super busy with your handmade business and you have to take a bunch of time out of your schedule to get photo documentation of fabric quality issues and write emails spoonflower support; it’s very inconvenient.
I’m not sure whether it’s a matter of the workers not being properly trained how to use the printing machines or if they hire workers who just don’t care, or if the company’s printers itself are the issue.
I only settled with buying from spoonflower this whole time because I didn’t know of any other companies who offered custom printing of quilting cotton. A few months ago I did find another company and their quality and against spoonflower’s quality is night and day. If you’d see my fabrics of same exact designs next to each other from each company, you would be amazed and unfortunately never order from Spoonflower again either.
Because of the kind support at Spoonflower, I do hope they could turn things around and give their item quality the massive improvement that it needs. However, after so many issues I’ve dealt with, I will not be back to shop with them.

Very disappointed! Ordered wallpaper for my daughter’s new bedroom. The pattern is gorgeous but once applying there we’re marking all over the wallpaper. The installation was already in process so I would have been out even more money having them stop. After 1 day it is bubbling terribly all over. After following all the instructions. We have 1 small section to still do so I have to purchase more even though I would NOT recommend to anyone else. Extremely disappointed for the amount of money spent on the wallpaper.
(This is not my first time using peel and stick wallpaper. It is currently up in 2 other rooms in the house without any issue. Purchased elsewhere for much cheaper.)
I have contacted Customer Service but have yet to get a response. (It has been less than 24 hours.)

I've been a customer for about 4 years. I purchase in bulk for a custom bag business. In the last 3 orders I've had to return fabric because there are issues with the color. It's had stripes of light and dark, black streaks, and in my most recent order the colors I've been ordering for years are now a completely different color. I contacted customer support - took 5 days to receive a reply. They say they now have some new system and the colors will be different. Currently looking into other fabric printing options.

This gets a 2 star rating for the simple fact the wallpaper itself is gorgeous, that’s the only good quality.
I purchase originally 2 rolls of peel & stick from Amazon, which i would not recommend because even though it’s directly sold by Spoonflower, just shipped by Amazon, the customer service will tell you there’s nothing they can do & direct you to Amazon, who will you tell you there isn’t anything they can do either & direct you to Spoonflower.
Anywho — i liked the wallpaper but needed a bit more, so i ordered 3 more rolls directly from Spoonflower to avoid the hassle of dealing with customer service if anything were to happen.
It went on great, easy to apply & i followed all the “tips & tricks” provided on their website. Then about 2 months later, it started to really start bubbling up in the middle, no matter how many times i tried to smooth it out, more and more bubbles kept showing up. Then the top part started to peel away from the wall. I don’t mind getting some wallpaper glue and sticking the top back to the wall but the bubbling will not go away. And it’s directly in the middle of the wall, so there’s no “un-peeling” and glueing i can do.
i contacted customer service, explained all this, they asked for images and more info, to which i replied and all i got back was “sorry you’re past our 30 day policy” and “our peel and stick really only works on completely flat drywall” - even though the website doesn’t state this. Also my walls don’t really have a texture at all that would cause this much bubbling, i’ve used plenty of other brands of peel and stick in the past, which never caused this issue.
Now i haven’t gotten any other response from customer service, other than a “how was your experience” email, but wouldn’t let me take this…
Their wallpaper is NOT cheap, i saved to order the 5 rolls and spent over $500 and it didn’t even last 4 months.
Do not recommend the peel and stick wallpaper AT ALL, the traditional wallpaper may be better but honestly with how nonchalant and unhelpful the customer service was and how much it costs for it to just be defective within 60 days, it’s not at all worth it.
