BUYERS BEWARE - almost £100 lost to this company!
UPDATE: Just to clear up some of the blatant lies made by Save our Souls in their response:
- The Royal Mail investigation was conducted in June 2021, and not "almost a year later" as stated here. Save our Souls know this - I emailed them on 9th June 2021 notifying them of the outcome. The only reason I got back in touch with Royal Mail a year later is because SoS asked for "concrete evidence", and I had lost the original letter.
- Royal Mail never asked me why I'd "waited a year to follow this up".
- The claim that Royal Mail stated delivery was not made is also untrue.
Save Our Souls might think that a customer losing almost £100 is a laughing matter, but I'm not sure Trading Standards will take the same view.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Bought a few tops from Save Our Souls in March 2021. Returned them because they didn't fit me (I blame the lockdown weight!) - only, the company claimed they never received my return.
Chased this up with Royal Mail, who launched a formal investigation into the missing package. Both the tracking data and the GPS location of the 'Delivered' scan proved that the return was successfully delivered.
I passed this info on to the company. Their response?
According to Save Our Souls, the proof of delivery letter from Royal Mail "does not prove delivery was made"🤦♂️
Almost a year on, they're still refusing to refund me, claiming they were closed on the day of delivery (apparently 'Safe Places' don't exist in Southend). That's £91.80 I'll never get back. Thanks, SOS.

Hi Ryan, nice to hear from you and good to see you have found another place to leave a review. Left out a few details here so let's fill them in:

We were not open on the day that they say it was delivered, that is fact. We are sure 'Safe places' do exist in Southend but what has that got to do with the price of fish? If our offices are closed, they are closed. Would you rather them fling it on to a roof as that is safe?
The Royal Mail letter you forwarded does not prove delivery was made, they even state this. It confirms a GPS co ordinate, fun fact, there are 20 other businesses within that range. It may be a case it was delivered elsewhere. If you had not waited a year to follow it up, it would have likely been resolved by Royal Mail.
In summary, give your head a wobble you turnip x
Update: yes, we asked for proof a year ago when you originally email us. Trading Standards will say the same thing mate, but best of luck with that.
Royal Mail said "due to the amount of time that has lapsed (a year) they can't offer any more info, which is a nice way of saying "it's been a year mate, sort yourself out"
We don't think it's laughable, what is making us chuckle is how you can leave something a year then get the hump when we don't agree with you. Get a grip mate. Feel free to continue editing the review, makes not odds x
Order not received …
Placed a order December 26th 2021 and was aware of the Christmas delivery schedule. It is now February 10th 2022 and have still not received my order. Have sent many emails requesting information on the where abouts of my order on save our souls side with no joy concerning my oder at all! I have also not received a confirmation from the relevant delivery persons to say they have even received this order from save our souls for delivery. I am at a loss as I have requested a refund via email recently in accordance to save our souls refund policy and they are now completely ignoring me. Will not be purchasing from them again unfortunately as this has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I'm sorry but trying on clothing a odor of some sort is bound to come off especially wearing perfume/aftershave or deodorant.

Wow, what a complete load of nonsense. Happy to put it straight.
As far as sizing goes, they are as advertised, perhaps you just ordered the wrong ones or are not the size you think.
That aside, you ordered the items in October, sent them back in January for an exchange. You also didn’t send all the items back and thought you could keep a tee for free but let’s ignore that for a moment. They are outside of our return and exchange time but we are happy to exchange the jumper.
However, the t short absolutely stinks. It smells like you have bathed in some god forsaken perfume for two months then decided it was too small, probably because it shrunk from all the perfume you bathed in.
So what we will do, is recall the replacement jumper we kindly gave you and send back the originals along with your t shirt that stinks. Don’t worry, have the postage on us x

I was looking for something a bit different as a Christmas gift for my partner. Save our Souls delivered on time with an excellent quality tee shirt with a highly individual design!

As the email below says and as stated on the Royal Mail website, there are delays to Royal Mail services so it will take longer than usual.
However, we have just clicked the tracking info on the dispatch email you received last Wednesday and it says it was delivered and signed for today.
So, it did answer your question you just didn’t read or act on the information given.

Thanks for your review, it seems you left out the part of you actually shouting at us via email first of all like some sort of crazed Karen.
We quote, after you received an automated reply and didn't have the courtesy to actually read it or even give anyone a chance to reply:
NO THAT DOES NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION AND I WANT IT DEALT WITH
This is not how to communicate to companies you buy from. A purchase doesn't entitle you to being rude, conduct yourself better Claudia, it is within you.
You have left in the bit that proves our point though, it was delivered and signed for today, which the automated email you received advised you to do (check your dispatch email) so well done for that.
To address your other point, you ordered on a Sunday and your order was dispatched on Wednesday, three business days after ordering which is the time we state on our website (again, probably didn't read the big banner on each page), and we do advise there are delays to Royal Mail services (see, the big banner on each page again) so it is within the schedule they advise at the moment.
Hope that clears things up for you now the dopamine rush from your childish review has cleared.

Great service and quality apparel
I bought 3 baseball tops which unfortunately didn’t fit, my fault of course for getting the wrong size. SOS excepted the returns and sent me 3 new long line T-shirts which fit perfect. Totally easy to deal with and great designs. I’ve previously bought a hoodie which I love amazing quality.

I would recommend to a friend or family anytime :D
Actually very good I had followed a link a friend had given me and without being redirected or forcing to watch a load of ads took me where I needed to go.
I made my order without having to open an account " I opened an account after purchase btw"
Was offered various ways to pay and a choice of delivery options.
Only problem I had was having to change the delivery address which was again sorted out really easily.
Don't normally give 4 Star rating but really good shopping experience.
