Thomas! Warranty Dept. Is "The Man!" So I ordered the JL Audio XDM 1000/1. Everything is Great. Not just Happy with the Amp, but my music now gave me pride! Powering a pair of JL Audio 12w3v3 in a sealed enclosure gave me just what I wanted and fit perfectly in My e46 M3 convertible. I can put the top up and down with no interruptions or need to move anything. Well after 6 months the amp just stopped working. Mid song, no smells, no smoke, no popping, just all of a sudden no bass. Bummed me out bad! So I removed the amp, and 1 12w3v3. Unhooked my rear fill Helix mid woofers, and put the other Sub in a ported enclosure and ran it off of channels 3 and 4 of my XDM 400/4. Sounded surprisingly good, but I was still super bummed, fearing the worst, I was sour. So I called Sonic, and was told to give it 24-48 hours, but could go up to a week to wait for a email about a return authorization. A week and a half goes by. Nothing. Soo, I call, upset, more about my fear of being S.O.L. because I installed the amp myself....I get this guy Thomas. Thomas read me like, he had the manual. He could feel my fear, and he translated the words that cause my fears, the words from the warranty card and procedure, he said , " I ask you sir, pause, take a deep breath, and feel calm, I ll get you handled" I was shocked. He confirmed my address, told me the process, emailed me a authorization number and a return address label, pre paid. Told me just drop it off at FedEx. And the complete process should be a few days......for the product exchange and a brand new replacement amp is on its way. Instant relief, efficient, confidence inspiring, and results. Dropped the package of two days later I got an email saying Amp received, allow a few days for warranty depr. To process the return. That evening I got another email saying return processed. A replacement will be on Its way in 24-48 hours. Just a few hours later I got another email, it had a tracking number and was now on its way, already with FedEx. 2 days later had a Brand newXDM 1000/1. Now two months later, it hasn't missed a beat, and I feel like Thomas did above and beyond, I felt like I was talking to not a rep, or even a manager. Thomas presented a manner of an owner, I just felt heard, and he listened, he was confidence inspiring that this would all fix my problem. And it went better. It seems as if he packaged it, authorized it. And dropped it off at fed ex. I super happy. I will not ever buy a major component , head unit, amp, sub. Or components from The local shop. They dont like warranty returns on consumer installed equipment, where as sonic electronics actual supports the DIY installer. Thank you Sonic, and Thank You Thomas. Ill never forget the experience. Any time I. On the phone with customer service in any situation, I will always hope to talk to a customer service Guru like Thomas.

Sound deadening material I ordered was sub par and way too expensive for what it was. The harness was fantastic and quick shipping.

I don’t like that it was sent in it’s original packaging. I recommend putting in an another box to conceal what’s inside. Other than that, I highly recommended.

So my compact amp shorted out or something, not sure as im not a stereo whiz, so I googled a replacement same size and output...and it lead me here.. they had two in stock so I didnt hesitate one bit.. had it in 3 days hooked up and works amazing..I believe its just a newer version of what I had i had a massive BL1 and this one is called a T2 I believe...same adjustments, everything...this one might need some tuning as time goes by but im not complaining one bit..
