Mel provided excellent customers service and support enabling us to make our choice of shed with no pressure. He gave excellent advice whilst taking on board our own clear thoughts about the position for the shed and visited the home before and after the ground was prepared to receive the shed. I couldn’t have asked for a better service and would definitely recommend Solid Sheds to my friends and family.

The chaps who dismantled the old shed were very efficient and then Andy and Karl who erected the new shed were truly excellent. I would recommend without hesitation.

We took advice from them about moving the site over 2 feet. Which we did exactly as requested, but when they came to put it up these different men then put it in the wrong spot. We were asked to sign a piece of paper as they were running off. Which we now realise was to say that all was okay, even though it obviously isn’t. The roof leaks and has caused mould inside. Even after ventilation They came out and said there is no issue with the roof or the fact you can see daylight through the wall. They sprayed to kill the mould which will return when it rains again!
Would not recommend this firm.

Just purchased my second Solid Shed.
An ex display tool tidy (which I will be using as an outside loo for my clients)
My first shed is a 12 x 8 Potting Shed bought in May 2022. This has been a godsend, it has given me the opportunity to work from home.
I have clients visiting my home daily and decided I needed an outside loo, the tool tidy shed is the perfect size and is the same outstanding quality as my potting shed.
Both sheds were purchased from Gordon Riggs Rochdale, my potting shed was erected on site, the ex display tool tidy was delivered assembled.
I’m so impatient and did not want wait the 3 weeks for the shed to properly dry out before staining with Protec Stain on my potting shed, however I did as I want it to last, it’s fantastic the water just runs off.
My tool tidy shed came with a tin of Protec, and I could paint straight away as it was an ex-display, I chose Protec Mocha.
For the inside, I stupidly opted to buy Dulux Trade, scrubbable paint - £45 a tin 2.5 litres with it being a loo, I thought it would work better. I have previously used Cuprinol on my bird stand and fence it fades, chips and needs coating every year. I painted the exterior of my tool tidy, now had 3 coats, goes on like a dream, took an hour to do each coat. Just like the stain on my 12x8 office, stained 3 times in one day. Used just 5 litres. Protec paint / stain is incredible. It took me over 3 hours with the Dulux paint to do the inside and looks a mess, felt like a workout…
I’m going to be re-doing the whole lot in Protec… it’s expensive but goes so far and the quality is worth every penny.

Hi i was shopping for plants at Ladygreen when the sheds when I noticed the Sheds. I asked the chap who said his name was Tony who was very professional and knowledgeable about the sheds. He gave me great advice on what to buy, i am very pleased with my shed and his advice. Also the guys that fit the shed nothing was to much trouble for them. Overall the service and Tony's advice i received was excellent, thank you all Mr Flanagan.

I had not researched "sheds" before I saw Solid sheds in at the back of a garden centre. I was impressed by the salesmen Roger and Kingston. They answered all my questions without trying to push me into buying one. I had a site inspection as entry was going to be difficult but when Micky and Brad arrived they just got on with the job and worked extremely well. I was pleased with the workmanship and my new summerhouse/shed looks really great. As its only been up for 5 days I cannot comment on anything else but so far I am very pleased with it.

I have already recommended Solid Sheds to friends and family because I am so pleased with my new shed.
Iain at Gorden Riggs Rochdale was so helpful in assisting us to make the right choice and even visited to check there would be no problems. Andy and Tony worked really hard to put the shed up and were very professional and courteous. The shed itself is of very good quality and is much admired by friends - they all want one.

Just had a Duplex 8x6 Wendy house installed this morning…it has stairs and has a great height even for adults. The timber is pressure treated and the natural colour is beautiful. From ordering to the installation Solid Sheds have been so efficient. We will be recommending them to others as the building has completed our garden.
Friendly hardworking installers Luke, Andreas, Jerry Thankyou. Thanks to Solid Sheds also the quality of your builds are excellent. We opted for the rubber roof with a 20 year guarantee …now we can make up for the lost years in Covid with our Grandson who is now 6.

Sadly, we advise you read the 33% negative reviews before purchasing. If we had left a review when we first had the shed it would have been excellent, installation team were lovely and the shed looked great. Within three months however there was water inside the shed, the doors would not close and our possessions mouldy. At this point we looked to customer service for support. We were consistently told by Paul that the cause of all our possessions being mouldy was us not ventilating the shed regularly. If you read the 33% negative reviews, as we wished we had, it seems that if you get a shed that does not let water in or if you leave a review at the point of purchase, then customers are happy but if something goes wrong the customer service is appalling - whilst they came out to keep fixing the shed they would not acknowledge something was seriously wrong. Eventually they agreed to a full refund but this took huge effort on our part and loss of hundreds of pounds worth of possessions through mould.

I have just had a playhouse installed by Jiri and Adrian of Solid Sheds, great guys the build took only a couple of hours from pulling up on the drive. Erected with no fuss, just got on an built it. looks great, solid and as described at the point of purchase. Would recommend.

Really happy with our 12x8 Pent Workshop. There were a few snags that needed attention but Steve came straight down and did a fantastic job getting everything spot on! Very pleased with the customer service and high standard product

Excellent service from start to finish. Easy order experience with plenty of good advice. Delivery date was set and completed as agreed. All erected by pleasant guys in a professional manner. Quality of our 12 x 8 Solid Shed / Summer House as we call it fantastic. We have used Funky Timber to clad it to. (Great Company). Had a slight leak on a window. Quick email to Solid Sheds and within 2 days, a guy came out sorted it. Really great experience and thank you Solid Sheds. Great experience with you company.

Just had our 10 by 12 foot shed delivered and erected - the guys left 2 minutes ago. We knew the shed we selected was good quality, but had no idea what the installation process would be like. We needn’t have worried as Giri and Adrian were wonderful, kind, polite men who worked with me to site the shed precisely where I needed it to go and consulted with me when I needed to take down part of my pergola (I hadn’t accounted for the roof overhang).
They really cracked on with the installation and everything went very smoothly. Super guys, great product and a pleasure to have dealt with them.

Avoid this company at all costs! TRIED to buy a loglap summerhouse. My horrendous experience started with one of the fitters saying he would come around in the middle of the night to let himself in on my daughter's sleepovers! She's 14. And he only handed me one key to the lock, saying there wasn't another - obviously considered himself a joker, but we live on our own, so it was quite frightening. I alerted Solid Sheds, they simply offered a second key, (I demanded a new lock) they were not really perturbed about the threat to a customer from their fitter. The summerhouse was primarily for my daughter to use with her friends, but she was afraid to sleep in it after that. Nevertheless, the summerhouse continued to let rain through the loglap slats on side and back panels & across the floor. Their Customer Service guy, Paul Worthington, accused me of not painting it quick enough to make it watertight (it's an outdoor building!), but it hadn't even dried out since the build and you can't paint wet wood. This continued for MONTHS, I had it protected and painted 3 times, they re-sealed the joints 3 times, I had the electrics & lights installed, they fitted the insulation & Interior walls, but it still leaked. They finally admitted that the product was faulty, the slats did not join properly, the roof was sagging in the middle and the floorboards were not close enough. I was told the CEO had semi-retired, so there's no point contacting him to complain. Appalling customer service overall. They dismantled it and then tried to replace it with a completely different design of summerhouse. I'd had enough and demanded a refund - this was 1 year later! I'm left with a 10'x14' slab of concrete with nothing on it - they are a complete waste of time!
The 1 star is solely because they did provide a full refund, otherwise it would be zero, but still a strong suggestion never to trust in this company. Please save your time, money and frustration and go elsewhere! I wish i had!!

I would have no hesitation recommending Solid Sheds. From beginning to end the experience was troublefree.
I love my budget summerhouse,it’s a really solid build.

Bought a summer house from solid sheds and we are over the moon with it. The quality is fantastic and the 2 lads who came to build it in the scorching heat never complained and did an excellent job. I would recommend solid sheds to everyone.

Purchased our summer house from Byrkley Garden Centre where the staff were very helpful. It was
delivered and erected on Tuesday by Gerry and his friend who amazingly put the whole thing together in under three hours.
