Just wanted to tell you that the new task tab is great. I am guilty of not taking the time to update date each of my holdings and this makes it much easier. The first portfolio I updated needed 750 some confirmations. Hate to think how long that would have taken me if I'd done each one manually. As my portfolios grow the more I appreciate the features for monitoring my portfolios that you have in Sharesight. thank you very much, keep up the good work, Dennis

Update - bug was resolved so website and original app working fine now. I’m still not happy with the new app - way too simple with far more clicks required to get relevant information and other information eg index comparison, is missing

Sharesight is indispensable. I would waste lots of time in spreadsheets otherwise. I'm taking off two stars due to:
1. the subpar second iPhone app they released several months ago. Lots of functionality missing, difficult to use, etc.
2. the upgrade to the original iPhone app, which has started failing in the past day or two with a super frustrating "Oops" page.
3. having said this the upgrade to the website (aside from a glitch or two during the upgrade where $500K of share value was missing for a minute) is a significant improvement.

Folks, please fix the iOS app!

Much wider based system than ones I have been exposed to in the past.

Easy to use and everything is in one place. It makes tax time quick and simple, and the future income report from dividends helps me budget and plan ahead. Overall, a great experience

Sharesight provides a very good solution for family offices wanting to consolidate their portfolios across multiple entities into a dashboard. This gives a key line of sight for the performance of assets across the board. In addition to this, there are a variety of useful reports that you can run such as the capital gains tax report that can assist with the preparation of tax returns.

Very disappointing - dodgy service and they cancel your service immediately despite having paid for the whole term.

i use mini warrants and the prices are inaccurate

Gihan from Sharesight is fantastic support. He provided me with clear, concise guidance on an API technical issue and its solution. He was proactive, patient, kind and very helpful in answering questions and then actioning solutions I couldn't have worked out on my own. Via Google Chat, Gihan helped resolve the issue and what information to email CMC support to fix the API connection at their end. CMC were significantly slower and poorer at communicating than Gihan at Sharesight. He has set the professional service benchmark. Awesome service, genuinely helpful, and a very kind, polite person. I highly recommend him. Truly professional work is rare, highly appreciated and deserves recognition and reward. Thank you Gihan! 10/10.

I trade a lot so great at tax time for the reports it generates and tax accountant likes it.

Used the portal for CGT calculation. Unfortunately the CGT calculation results are totally wrong and can not be trusted. Waste of time and energy.

Share sight is everything I hoped it would be as an investment management tool. It seamlessly combines my two portfolios giving me aggregate performance figures .The reporting is helpful and the ATO annual revenue and capital gains and losses are very easy to access. Overall the best system I have ever come across

This product is terrible. Please don't waste time setting it up! It's difficult to set up and ultimately the share values are wrong leaving you with an inaccurate portfolio. Dont waste your time.

This site helps me keep track of my investments and run reports to see if I'm getting too concentrated in specific industries or individual stocks (across funds and ETFs)

Worst customer service. Some times it takes days to get a response from them and even after explaing what is wrong in their reports they give automated answers which makes no sense. Some times they dont even respond to new chat queries.

Being a new user, i have found it relatively easy to navigate its features- In particular I love the feature of being able to create my own personalised investment Groups to suite my own needs.
The online chat for help is also very good and prompt in replies.
The only (minor) negative I have is the capped qty of investments for the starter plan being at 30 holdings- would be great to increase this to say 35- but I guess thats how you upsell to the next plan which is great business sense.

The customer care just take too long to response to me sometimes, for example msg send on thursday , friday didnt reply me.......sometimes it needs me to repeated myself the same thing over and over again . but overall is still acceptable.

They were fast to action my request. They kept me informed ever step of the process.

I have 2 accounts. A SMSF and an trading account. When I log in to my super account all the share numbers are wrong. I have been in contact with support who got me to manually alter all of them but its back exactly the same.
It’s pathetic really. I have emailed Aron twice with no reply. Not good enough by a very long way.

The reply below is not factual.
They attempted to fix the issue by getting me to input the data manually but as soon as I logged out and back in it was back to the incorrect amount.
I have since sent 2 emails both have been ignored.

Response to my query was quick and very helpful.
My query required several interactions with Sharesight support to be resolved but all responses were quick and relevant. First class support.
