Good and easy tool, some ideas for improvement
I believe that sharesight is a smart tool and easy to use. I appreciated in particular the flexibility, possibility to insert custom investment, customize classes... also the report section is able to cover my needs.
Of course it is always possible to improve, below some ideas/suggestions:
- possibility to upload prices for many custom investments in one shot (through excel sheet)
- show in the investment page not only the return but also the risk (max drawdown or other indicator). Today I can see it only running a report
- even better develop the tool in order to be used also for the investment selection: showing return %, drawdown risk...

No Customer support except bot
No Customer support except bot which essentially build to keep you in loop. No contact number.
Last year, it used to brought all CMC trades automatically but his time it is not refreshing. Also, put all my Stake trades 3 times and i had to remove duplicates manually.
After using this 4 years successfully , they have managed to ruin smooth Saas.

Apologies for the experience. Our bot handles most of the conversation from the start however you also have the option to route it to a human at any point during the conversation. re CMC, CMC made an upgrade on their end so you need to re-register to establish the connection again.

Reliable timesaver
I use Sharesight for accurately tracking portfolio performance, income and tax return calculations. It intuitive and excellent value for money. It is an outstanding product.

Excellent customer service - a rarity from software providers!
Not only is the Sharesight product great, but I've found the staff (particularly Gihan) very keen and capable at resolving the most complex and specific issues. Support & Devs really accomodating
The devs and support were really helpful getting a new ticker added to their system with a quick turn around time, just in time for the dividends to come out. This means I don’t need to add it in custom every trade I make.

Its great when it works. Customer assistance is very poor, no phone to ring with a question and they take for ever to reply online. And you always contact them when its something urgent. otherwise the product is good.

I cannot get into my account
I cannot get into my account. To get support I have to be in my account. There is no option to contact support without being in your account. The so-called help they offer is a vicious circle if you cannot get into your account.
Next day: Sharesight responded to this review and assisted me to successfully access my portfolio. Thank you very much Sharesight. Still need an easier way to contact you when locked out of the App, which is a great App by the way.

Data inaccurabcies and zero customer service
Tried out the product and found some inaccuracies in the historical data. I queried the data but no response. Subsequently, I cancelled the service but the cancellation did not go through initially so i got billed for the full subscription. Then tried to contact cusomer service after cancellation and there is no contact point.
