Ordered a large number of items as I am wanting to learn to sew. The order came through really quickly and under the current global circumstances, this went way beyond expectations. They are really pulling out the stops here with lots of constraints, which should speak volumes about their commitment to their customers.
I have now got everything I need to get going thanks to the wonderful staff at Sew Essential. I'll definitely shop here for all my next sewing items and I recommend them highly.

These wonderful people gave me good advise when my old sewing machine broke down after 30 years. I had a new machine within 24 hours after speaking with somebody on the phone and free shipping. I have used the company for years for cotton and zips, always brilliant and very fast. Being locked up at home they are a real asset.

I ordered a sewing machine in late December. I still haven't received it at the end of January. I always just have got new dates for delivery.
I don't recommend this company.

Nothing is too much. Always willing to go a step further to help. My dealings were all over phone and via e-mails but l was made so very welcome as if I'm in face to face sales.

Would defiantly avoid shopping from here! I placed an order with them for two identical silver swivel clips for a sewing project I needed (when placing the order I chose the item I wanted and selected quantity: 2).However when the clips arrived they were 2 completely different sizes, meaning they were absolutely useless for my project! I got in touch with customer service and they sent out a replacement clip, but when it arrived it was brass coloured! I got in touch with customer services again and they said they’d send another replacement but that never arrived and they’re now being unresponsive. After all this I now have 3 swivel clips, none of which match and I wasn’t able to make the sewing project as I intended for my sisters birthday. Really disappointing experience. Only shop here if you feel like throwing money down the drain or gambling on wether they’ll be able to get your order right!

WORST customer service experience of my life. Do not use this company. My order went missing and they couldn't care less.... I'm now left trying to locate the missing items myself!

This was my first order and will not be my last.
Ordered a sewing machine at a fantastic price, was constantly kept informed of status of the order and machine arrived as promised.

An excellent company, online prices as good as the high street. The delivery is very quick and customer service second to none. When I emailed asking for samples they were delivered within a few days.

I placed my order on the 12. and on the 17. my parcel arrived in Copenhagen. Couldn't be faster.

I needed white bias binding, which 2 local shops had sold out of. I found what I wanted on sewessential at a very competitive price, and placed my order online yesterday lunchtime. My package arrived this morning!

Second time I have used this company and the website is easy to use, lots of patterns to choose from and a very speedy service. I placed my order in the afternoon and received it the next day.

Easy to navigate site with super speedy dispatch - my order arrived the next day sensibly packaged.

I will definitely shop with Sewessential again. There is a wide range of sewing goods on offer and the prices are competitive. The website is easy to use and well laid out.
