I bought the Rapid EG111 glue gun kit, and it turned out to be extremely dangerous. During normal use, the inside of the tool suddenly started smelling like burnt electronics, thick smoke began coming out of the body, and it completely short-circuited my home's electrical grid, blowing out the main fuses.What makes it worse is that I was using the exact 500g of official glue sticks that came included in the original packaging, so there is absolutely no excuse regarding incorrect glue usage. I expected high quality and safety standards from a brand like Rapid. Instead, this product posed a serious fire hazard.The tool itself is completely dead and hazardous. I am demanding a full refund from the seller. Avoid this model if you value your safety

Excellent website. Clear delivery lead times and fast delivery when items in stock. Have used Rapid for years and they never fail to deliver.

The product is great. The delivery people are terrible. They left an expensive item on the doorstep while we were out. We arrived back just in time to stop a doorstop theft. Previous order, again they left it on the doorstep and didn't knock the door.
Don't know what Co. you use but they are leaving you open to losses. Also packing your items needs to improve. It's no good just adding the large bubble wrap, items still rattle around.....

Components arrived on time and I was very happy with the packaging.

Their delivery service is bad, the delivery company will not deliver to the stated address on the parcel.
Their previous delivery company (Business Post) were excellent, they delivered to the door.
Not always clear about price reduction for Universtes,
sometime end column sometime different.
Otherwise Rapid is very good in terms of their people and product values and range.
I have been dealing with Rapid for decades.

Rapid online has great products but they sent this recent order via Royal Mail who are terrible for deliveries. Bring back the dpd deliveries

Service is, and always has been exceptional, but the problem I had were the postal charges. As I am just a hobbyist, most of the amounts I require are very small, making the postal charges far in excess of the components themselves. Consequently, I would purchase from elsewhere, but I would rather purchase from Rapid.
I am glad the minimum order value and postage cost have come down as now I will be ordering a lot more from my favourite supplier.
