Rude staff.
I went on a trip with an elderly group, and as soon as the announcement was made asking everyone to make their way to the vehicles, we left immediately. There were queues for the lifts, which caused a slight delay, but despite this we were repeatedly rushed and shouted at to leave.
I understand that staff need to clear the area quickly to make way for the next trip, and I appreciate they have a job to do. However, there was no need for the rude and aggressive attitude. We were also waiting for someone who uses a walking stick but our veichle had been forced to move further along so they had to walk further. A little more patience and understanding, especially towards an elderly group, would have gone a long way.

This is for the Red Jet. Used to be a great service, once an hour in winter, and every 30 minutes in the summer. Now it is one every 70 minutes. Clearly driven more by profit than service.

Massive shout out to the guys at Red Funnel Southampton. I catch the ferry daily for work as we live on the Island and commute to Southampton. I arrived for my return ferry today to find I had a flat tyre. I was asked to pull over into a bay and
Leighton changed my tyre for me and got me onto my return ferry with three minutes to spare. I am so grateful especially as a woman who travels alone. Thank you so much.

We arrived early and we're put on the earlier ferry , staff really friendly, really easy process.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. It’s a good and reliable service.

All went according to plan, boarded with no hassle, on time and disembarked having arrived on time. Had tea and some food as planned. Shame about the vaping in the forward saloon.

We turned up a bit early on the morning of our trip but the lady who checked our booking said we could go earlier if wanted she was very nice and helpful, the crossing was very good as well so was and enjoyable trip not stressful at all

Facilities all good .Smooth crossing .
Just a great trip over to isle of Wight then return to Southampton. Always use Red Funnel

RED FUNNEL came to my rescue a couple of years ago when I needed to get home urgently, when my daughter had been attacked and hospitalised,, they were absolutely EXCELLENT,,

Very pleasant experience

Ferry was on time, loading was easy and quick. There was a good choice of hot and cold food, as well as a variety of drinks. Comfortable searing, friendly staff.

No hassle check-in both sides, sailings on time. Very slick and professional crew.

Straight forward from booking to sailing.

Moved us to an earlier sailing and sorted lifts and extra door space.

I would hsve given a five but my 80 year old mothet who had a hip replacement 3 weeks before we travelled had to struggle to get to the lounge both ways due to a lift not working so i be not use Red funnel next timr
