We have used Gatwick Holiday Parking twice within the past month and found it to be very good on both occasions.
Whilst it’s not the cheapest a do punt code given to me after my first booking made the second stay very competitive. Perhaps a good incentive to encourage existing customers to return.
Overall pretty convenient and the buses run regularly between the terminal and car park.

Used Mid Stay car park. Actually car park and location to terminal are excellent. However, the lack of signposting to get there is shocking.

From booking to parking, the information were clear and easy to access. The direction to the north terminal car park entrance is clear, and the distance from the car park to the north terminal is a short walking. My flight was delayed on the return but I was covered under the grace period. Amazing attention and customer service.

The drivers are excellent. It’s very close to the terminal. It’s good value for money. The buses run frequently. The route is a bit arduous if you find yourself at the back end of the drop off. The raised platform at the back of vehicle is difficult to negotiate when no room is left for bags on the racks - even if there are seats available the accessibility is awkward. Despite this it is a great location and service.

Always use Long Stay Gatwick. Good price. Can keep your keys. Car park well lite and very tidy. Very reliable.

Very straightforward to book and reasonable price

Very happy with using the long stay parking, in the long term it’s easier that getting a cab to the airport. However we only use the Parkin when we do a long weekend, never used it when doing more than a week.

The best and easiest way to park.

Be very careful parking in south terminal. They are now issuing £100 penalties for parking in bays that look free (like at end of rows) and are not marked as no parking or restricted. They send a cctv car round to catch people out. It’s catching lots of people out and they won’t change the markings to make it clear you can’t park in those spots.

If Gatwick Airport parking are reading this then a clear example of the problem is the parking space marked B4L in the Red car park (this issue also affects similar spaces in comparable positions on other floors and in the other South Short Stay car parks).
To a reasonable person, this space appears to be a legitimate, available parking bay for the following reasons:
• It is situated at the end of a row of parked cars and forms a natural continuation of the parking line.
• There is no paint marking, hatched area, or any other floor marking to indicate that parking is prohibited (unlike nearby bays which are clearly marked for motorcycles, maintenance vehicles, or with yellow hatching).
• There are no signs on the walls or in the immediate vicinity stating that the bay must not be used.
• No terms and conditions are displayed anywhere near the parking bays. The only terms visible are on the entry barrier machines, written in a font that is far too small to read from inside a vehicle.
This lack of clear marking is misleading, confusing, and results in unfair penalty notices. Drivers exercising reasonable care are being penalised due to the car park operator’s failure to provide adequate signage and markings.
Gatwick parking in my view should take the following actions as a matter of urgency:
1. Immediately review and correctly mark all such ambiguous spaces (including B4L and all similar bays) to clearly indicate where parking is not permitted.
2. Cancel any penalty notices issued in relation to this matter and prevent similar unfair penalties from being issued to other customers in future.
