This means that they’re the only company whose car parks are located onsite, which, in turn, means that you can park closer to the terminals than you can with any other provider. Pre booked for short stay
Pre booked for short stay. Checked night before booking okay but there was a notice that part of short stay was closed. We would be advised of alternative parking. Too late to contact and parking too early to be able to contact. Took a punt and got parked in short stay but it was a concern. No means to contact out of hours. Otherwise short term was great.

Used the valet parking experience..
Used the valet parking experience... it is so easy and good value compared to the other options, especially as you leave and collect your car so close to the terminal.
The car is photographed as you enter so you have piece of mind regarding damage as you need to be aware the car is moved to and from a secure on airport compound.
Collecting is easy... provide your ticket, get keys, a QR code, depart ...so quick.
Only issue I have is the entry, exits and ramps to all the short stay carparks are very tight if your car is on the larger side!
Booking very straight forward and all options and prices shown. The late free cancellation and changes also offer piece of mind if plans change.

I liked the overall experience…
I liked the overall experience of being able to park my car near the airport, and take shuttle to departures, the wait for bus either way was not too much. There was some confusion if I would be charged extra because my flight was a bit delayed but that was not the case although I got an email which was a bit unclear to me. Also on the way out not sure if I missed some turn but I entered a parking lot and exited it to get on to motorway and for that I had to take ticket but was not charged I am assuming google maps got that wrong.

Close to North Terminal
Close to North Terminal, ca. 5 mins by speedy bus, easy drop off & car then parked by staff, Courteous staff, easy & rapid process. Best long term parking experience found at ANY London airport.

Very easy and convenient
Yes, it's a bit expensive, but it's also very convenient. Drop car off, walk across to the terminal building, and in reverse when you come back.

Valet parking - recommended
We used the valet parking service and enjoyed an excellent experience. Communication was clear.
On arrival the barrier immediately showed our registration number and our name. It’s easy to find the correct place to park and the service agent was immediately on hand to do the handover. Not a second of time was wasted.
On return, key pick up was quick and easy and our car was parked in a disabled space as requested.
One minor issue was that the lifts are very slow which was a little annoying after a long flight and the usual deprivations of transiting an airport.

Best airport parking
I always use the official Gatwick parking when I need to leave the car. I know it costs a bit more but the convenience of the location and the security of knowing my car is safe and the staff are always friendly and helpful is worth it. Booking and updates are online and seamless.

Great Long Stay parking experience
We love the Long Stay parking where we can park the car and keep the keys. In June it was great that we could cover the car dashboard during the heatwave. Busses to the terminal are fairly frequent and adequately spacious to avoid crowding. The booking process is easy and the flexibility a real bonus. Gatwick Official Parking allows various amendments to the order including changing times and car registration. They don't accommodate changing from North parking to South or vice versa but it was great to rebook the South and cancel North when TUI changed the flights from North to South. We did this for convenience rather than needing to use the Shuttle train between terminals. A phone call to Customer Services was answered quickly and most helpful and informative. All in all, we highly recommend Gatwick Official Parking, particularly for Long Stay.
