Awful company
Awful company. Ignorant to correspondence. I missed the cancellation by one day. Totally did not want their service for 12 months, so asked for another option to this ie 3 months perhaps. Got the standard you have this for 12 months reply. So I thought , I’ll forget about this. Cue the BPO bullies letter to pay the 12 months . Paid them. Requested to them I had paid my money, then the channel back on for rest of the term. Ignored again. Disgraceful customer service and bullies

Would be rating this company-5 if I could, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company!! Signed up for one month before the pandemic then cancelled as there wasn’t any racing for 12 months and I’ve received a dept collectors letter saying I need to pay almost £300 for a 12 month subscription!! I’m being threatened to be taken to court over it too, I said about the pandemic and there wasn’t any racing to even view but they said that incase of a worldwide pandemic it wasn’t mentioned in the t&c 😱 what a stupid thing to say such a thieving company trying to get money back they’ve lost this past year, and the staff at customer services need to be trained in people skills, such rude people!!!!!

I'm receiving debt collection letters because I didn't cancel after a free trial 2 Years Ago!
I had their channel for 1 month and they're pushing for a year's subscription using BPO to recover it, Embarrassing!

Thought I had a free trial now getting debt collection letters for a contract I didn't sign up for.. STAY AWAY
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. They claim to support responsible gambling, I have admitted I have a gambling issue and am receiving counciling. I am doing all I can to avoid racing, yet when I explained all this to racing TV they refused to cancel my account, so I still have access to their channel which is no help at all.
Don't thank us, STOP ripping us off.
I notice on their web page they have a banner thanking customers for helping them through the toughest time in racing, let's get something straight here, the only reason they have survived is because they have ripped customers off during a pandemic with their hidden t&c's tricking them into a 12 month contract.
The tide is turning now as people become aware off their dirty tricks, even the better race courses are noticing and leaving them i.e Newbury going to ATR.
They do have their uses though, if you can't sleep just switch the channel on and listen to some of their pundits.

I signed up for a free month trial. There very small print then locks you into a year long contract.
I told them I had a gambling addiction which they were contributing to making worse. They didn't care and failed to response to formal complaints.

Racing TV are money grasping clowns , they actually sent in a debt collection agency because 1 payments of £18 was overdue, they threatened me with court action if it wasn’t settled immediately .
Let my experience be a warning to anyone even thinking of taking out a subscription to this very unfunny bunch of clowns .

Forgot to cancel after free trial and now told that somewhere in the terms and conditions I’m stuck into a 12 month contract. That is £299.40 for something I don’t watch. This should not be allowed to happen…

I can't begin to explain how bad this company is. Customer services advisor was unable to answer my query and suggested I need to write to another part of the company who would respond within 6 weeks!! I then reqested an e-mail address for customer compliants which he gave me. I wrote to this address and received a ridiculous response asking me to provide all the information which was altready in my e-mail!! To make it even more laughable, the response was from the same guy I had spoken to on the phone!! They are either completely thick, incompetent or deliberately unco-operative.

Unable to cancel through the website/app, or by phone outside of working hours. Trial expired and now stuck on a 12 month contract. Avoid at all costs.

If I could leave a - 5 as a review I would have. The call centre staff are unbelievably rude unhelpful obnoxious and have zero humanity. I definately recommend you stay as far away from this company and only hope you never have to call to speak to the disgusting human beings that work for them

The customer service if you can call it that was disgusting, very very rude staff. I was ringing to join, but after the way I was spoken too I'm not bothering. Sort your customer service team out!!

DO NOT SIGN-UP!! Absolute con-artists. They trick you into long term agreements, annual.obkigations without informing yoh upfront and then fallback on their T&C's from a legela ramifications perspective. Do not touch this shoddy outfit, be warned.

Poor poor poor rude and very unprofessional never have I had to deal with anyone so poor. Literally people save your time and stay away people get sucked in to a subscription and are told tough threatened with debt collectors and this is with these difficult times. Honestly not just 1 call but several plus emails etc they don’t respond to you until it’s to late. Lost my job and at uni unable to make a payment but the tactics are to threaten with debt collection agency. Please stay away from this company I can’t pay I won’t be able to and no help what so ever

I signed up for a free trial with Racing TV, and didnt receive any reminders from them that it was due to expire. After the trial period was over I saw a £24.98 charge to my card. I rang to cancel and was told that the terms & conditions state that if I don't cancel I am signed in for 12 month contract. Ok, so I didn't read the t's & c's. Hands up. But I didn't because I'm used to better than this. Racing TV are very far below expected customer service standards.

Beware. Misled into a contract I did not want. Customer services threaten their customers with debt collections and credit score reporting. Bully boy tactics. They should help their customers if they have problems. They refuse to give evidence of any contract has been agreed by both parties. It feels very dodgy.

I think the product itself is brilliant, but it is brought down by very poor customer service.
Their customer service team are rude and very unprofessional.
I have just got off the phone to one of Racing TV's representatives (who was rude and patronising).
I was explaining my next door neighbour (who I recommended to Racing TV) has just renewed his Racing TV for £10 per month for 12 months plus has been given a Firestick.
The RTV representative initially told me the only way I can carry on watching Racing TV is to carry on paying £24 per month. He explained my contract was nothing to do with my neighbours. He said I was paying less than £1 a day and it was already cheap.
He said he didn't know why people ring up to try and get a better deal.
I explained it seemed massively unfair, considering I have been with Racing TV for far longer.
The frustrating thing is, like my neighbour, I can’t get SKY so have to watch RTV through Freeview, which now isn’t available. I have been advised to go and buy a firestick and download Racing TV.
Speaking further I understand that the best offer I can have is £180 per year (£15 per month for 12 months through my ROA membership), whilst my next door neighbour only pays £120 per year PLUS receives a free firestick.
I was told not to worry about what my neighbour says and to stay away from him. He told me he doesn’t care what his next door neighbour is doing and I should do the the same.
He was patronising and laughing at the time.
Maybe I should take his advice, but I suppose at the end of the day it is human nature to be slightly aggrieved that your neighbour, who you recommended is paying £60 less and receiving a FREE fire stick.
Ignoring the fact that the above seemed unfair, I was just massively disappointed in the way I was spoken to and laughed at.
Racing TV. You need to sort out your Customer Service team, it is letting down your product.
Non existent customer service
Product is ok but it is just a feed of horse racing so as expected. Customer service on the other hand is rubbish. I have been trying to get a response on an issue with my direct debit. Emails are ignored, phone calls not answered, even tried tweets but that failed as well. Very frustrating and hence the rating
