Great service for multi-site businesses

I run a commercial cleaning company with 3 sites across the area, so sorting energy contracts was always a headache I put off. Purely Energy took it all off my plate. They compared business energy deals for all three of our premises and ended up saving us around £800 a year, which for a small business genuinely makes a difference.

What I appreciated most was that they handled the switch with the suppliers directly, so I didn’t have to chase anyone. Would recommend Purely Energy to any business owner who’s too busy to shop around for gas and electricity themselves. We’ll be using them again at renewal.

Samantha Clarke helped me previously with a Gas account and is now helping with an Electricity Account. Having somebody there on the end of the line whenever you call is a massive plus point for Purely Energy - I'd recommend them on that basis alone - but it also helps that the prices quoted have so far been really competitive and have secured my business.

A man using a fake female voice while asking questions about energy services, with several men laughing in the background. It was clearly a prank call.
I've worked on the phones for years and have never experienced anything quite this unprofessional.
Not quite what I'd expect from a B Corp-certified company.
Fortunately, the call was recorded and has been passed on to B Lab.

Samantha got us a really good deal when we were looking for a new gas contract. Our calculations show we're going to save hundreds over the next couple of years compared to other offers. No question was too much and quotes for different contract lengths were provided without fuss. Unlike some others, there was no hard sell.

The standing charges are high but we do get through a lot of gas - some members of staff seem to treat the office like a sauna!

Communications at switch over wasn't brilliant having to give meter readings several times, being told someone would be sent to read the meter when no one came and the direct debit for payments wasn't set up correctly when all the information even though the DD mandate was sent months in advance but these are minor issues and will get resolved.

Samantha Clarke was my account manager dealing with our energy renewals and she made it so easy. I get multiple calls everyday regarding renewals but something about Samantha made me trust her and I was right to do so. The experience was seamless and she got us a really good deal. I'll definitely use Purely Energy again.
