I have had my DropTop for two years, and it is still the best work station I have ever encountered. Not only is it beautiful when it is closed/locked up, it fits my needs perfectly and allows me to transition from home to work efficiently.

This wall desk is a genius idea.

My work space is not suitable for a standard desk. This genius idea to have a desk that is on the wall, just saved my space and increased my wellbeing.

It took me several days to try and think of a solution. ... the best decision I have done... had my wall desk for a period of over 2 years now...

The product is better and is more than I dreamed. Searched long and hard, weeks and weeks, scoured the Internet, craft building sites, Amazon, local stores. All in all dozens and dozens of hours spent. Why? I wanted something that would allow my smaller living room to serve as an office and a living room.

Portrait mode:
When this desk is folded up people think it is just a really cool portrait! I took the photo myself and selected the fiery orange sunset colors to pair with my clay brick fireplace. Found a classy leather chair that can adjust to standing height also close to that color. The result? Guests come over, see the desk folded up and the chair sitting between my tan colored love seat and couch and think it is just another living room seat to be sat in! Absolutely loving it and i have not even gotten to its functionality as a desk (LOL).

Desk mode:
I have spent many hours using it as a desk. As, my office chair is capable of being at standing height, I mounted my desk at standing height and enjoy switching regularly, back and forth, between standing and sitting. The dual screen 4K screens along with my laptop give me 3 screens of real-estate to do my work. I always like to put my laptop below the left hand monitor and am able to see all three screens clearly with nothing getting covered up. Note, you can go into display settings and move your laptop below the two built into the desk and this will allow the mouse and computer desktop experience to flow seamlessly. All that is needed to connect and power your laptop (if you have USB-C) is the built in docking station sitting behind the monitors. You will very likely need to install the software for this but that is pretty simple.

Purchasing and Delivery
The purchasing was straight forward with a well put together website making it very easy to create your desk. I had an employee reach out to me and let me know that the personal picture I uploaded was good. They do a quality check as they don't want the end result to be dissatisfactory. When the package arrived from UK to the USA, it was in a very well protected box. I recommend having somebody available to assist with getting it carried in and mounted as it is heavy.

Support
I did have one problem with the order with a wall mounting component not being included. When I contacted support, Simon emailed me back and said it was no-problem because he took care of me. No hassle or back and forth, just solved. A few days later the part arrived and the desk was mounted.

Installation
Great documentation and high quality parts meant getting it done right and being comfortable trusting that my desk is securely mounted.

All in all super satisfied would buy it again and recommend to my family/friends. Hoping that we see a product that is rated okay to put outside on a covered patio (no rain).

Love my WFH desk from the moment it arrived: carefully packed for transport, solid material (we could notice during assembly), large enough to work on comfortably, takes little space when folded

Following my order, and delivery with ample notifications, desk was installed successfully. It has been in use every day as part of my ability to work from home. Not used with a single tech use, but full dual separate laptop setup while still allowing ample room for both laptops to be functional at the same time.

The desk is great. We put it in our tiny house and it folds up and out of way perfectly. The desk is larger than I thought it would be and it's very sturdy.

Wanted a desk for our spare bedroom but didn’t want to lose the ability to also use it as a bedroom. A sofa bed address the bed needs but how could we also fit a decent sized desk into the room at the same time? I realised that we need something that folded down, that’s when we found DropTop. Their solution was simple but effective and I could also have two monitors setup. Although it is an expensive product it is worth every penny, I now have a working office and still have a useable spare bedroom. Fully recommend DropTop.

I’ve had my desk for two years and it still works as well as it did the first day. When people see it, they all compliment the look and how convenient it is. If I didn’t tell them it folds down into a desk, they’d think it was an art piece on the wall. I had a couple questions during the ordering process, and they got back to me with answers immediately. I highly recommend Pith & Stem. You can’t go wrong with them.

I've had the desk for two years now, June 2023, to June 2025, and it has been excellent. The design and construction are first class. It's unusual as it has no legs, but my son used it for two years as an online work from home desk. I now use it as a home music production studio. It's heavy so some effort needed to get it on the wall. I'm going back to order the internal dual monitor wiring. This will save having a splitter or hub on the desk. What I like about the design is the built in power sockets. The monitor arms are strong, so strong that they need to be loosened off slightly to allow movement back and forwards. Allen key job. The available leg space is great and I placed a second hand tv unit beneath as storage. The service on the phone was exceptional, patiently explaining the wiring options multiple times! Select the options carefully. Delivery, well packaged as you would need. Two man job to get it on the wall, as before. No regrets. Doing a great job. Bought it in white and acts as a projector screen when closed.

Great Desk,
I've had it for about 2 years of near daily use now and it has held up very well. It's very unobtrusive when not in use and very comfortable overall + it makes the living room look so much nicer by just folding away. Highly recommended.

I LOVE my DropTop desk. It's super neat, has a giant monitor inside and it's perfect for me working at standing height when I'm at home without having a big desk permanently in the way and in sight.

Excellent quality product and delivered without issue.

I've had my DropTop desk for well over 2 years now, and it is still (almost) as good as new. As I have a dual-purpose home-office/spare bedroom, the DropTop is perfect to solve the split-use issue. I can work comfortably during the day and stow everything away very quickly and securely when the bedroom is needed for a inquisitive grand-child.

Despite being in daily use, the wall fittings have stayed secure and the fold-down desk surface shows no signs of sagging or loosening. It remains very sturdy and robust.

The only slight issue is that the stick-on cable tidy clips have come away from main unit, but, in the grand-scheme of things, that is not a huge problem, given that the practicality of the system is a huge bonus to our living space.

Very nice, using it since more than one year and its working perfectly.
