My family & myself have rented properties through Perfect Stays 4 times now. We have never been disappointed. The properties are all kept to a very high standard. Everything is top quality & all the staff that work for Perfect Stays are so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.
We stayed at Sunny Seven, Polzeath Feb 2026 & this property is stunning. So well equipped with everything you would need. Immaculate in every way. 5stars definitely!

Welcome pack with local foods and drink. Very clean and tidy. Beautiful property and views. Parking for at least 3 cars, dog friendly. Warm, lovely wood burner. Efficient company, dealt with a missing item very quickly.

Always an excellent experience

Salt Spray in Porthleven is a magical property,it has everything you want and everything you need.
The sunrises and sunsets from the balcony are breathtaking.
The team at Perfect Stays are exceptional in every way, I can't praise them enough !
Their emails are thoughtful and not generic, and its always a pleasurable experience speaking to them.

We stayed at Trelorna over Christmas and had the most amazing stay.
The house was just incredible. It was set over 3 floors, the top floor being the living/dining/kitchen area with incredible views of polzeath beach.
The decor was beautiful throughout . It had 5 lovely bedrooms, all having comfy beds and 3 of these were en-suite.
The games room was great and we had lots of fun playing table tennis and pool.
The hot tub was brilliant too.
We did some lovely coastal path walks straight from the house.
With the games room hot tub, beautiful walks, the beach and town we didn’t need to drive anywhere.
The house literally had everything you could want, plenty of pots pans, crockery and cutlery. As we stayed there over Christmas Day it was amazing to have 3 ovens for us to cook our Christmas Day dinner in.
I cannot recommend this house enough, it was just stunning and I would give it a definite 5 star rating.

This is the 5th time we have stayed at Shun Lee and our 6th booking overall with Perfect Stays. We love Shun Lee as it is a very well appointed/spacious house and importantly within walking distance of St Ives. There is good car parking for 5 cars but we rarely use the cars. The house is very well maintained with plenty of kitchen equipment - plates, mugs, cutlery, glasses etc. We all enjoy large En-Suite bedrooms, the kitchen and lounge are large and very socialable. The cinema room includes a full Sky package. We have always found Perfect Stays easy and efficient to deal with both prior and during our stay. During our recent stay we had a problem with one of the dishwashers, this was resolved very quickly. We have already booked again for 2026.

Everything at Nightjar was absolutely perfect, wouldn't have changed a thing. The house itself was stunning and perfect for my family of 8 and a baby. Big open space for the family to hang out together, fantastic for a celebration. We had private chef Dez Turland come cook for us all one evening - this was amazing and recommended by Perfect Stays.
The Owners living next door was perfect, keeping us topped up with endless supply of logs.
We'd definitely return to Nightjar - summer would be amazing there to enjoy the hottub and garden even more.
P.S. Perfect Stays are my favourite property rental company to work with. Responsive, knowledgeable and so helpful. All of their properties are of the same incredibly high standard - gives me confidence when booking that the house will be super special, thanks everyone at Perfect Stays.

My one star is not a reflection on Perfect Stays as I cannot fault them at all. My holiday was ruined due to what I think is a major issue with the drains and plumbing I believe. One room was uninhabitable due to the stench. Another room was not used due to the state of one of the bed. The top was literally smashed up with jagged plywood. As a result of one family never came and another left. The issue started immediately and Perfect Stays were on the case immediately. Pebbles who oversee the place were fantastic too. My ruined holiday was not their fault. They did all in their power to rectify a situation which to be fair was out of any bodies control. Under the circumstances Perfect Stays could not have done more than they did.
I wanted a full refund and I believe it to be the owner who would only give me just over half. I had saved a long time to afford a likely last family holiday and it never happened. Basically it couldn’t sleep 10 due to the issues with the stench and the twin room only really fit to sleep one.
It’s a wonderful property but sadly I spent all the time I was there worrying about not getting my deposit back. I kept finding cracked crockery, dirty marks on walls,stains on furniture and generally it was pretty tatty and in need of some TLC. The carpets were also pretty grubby. Coupled with the fact we didn’t get a family holiday and the worry of wasting more money it was an utter disaster which has left me very sad. I must stress to anybody reading this review that it’s not a reflection on Perfect Stays. They did all they could to rectify things and I really appreciate that. Nobody could have been more helpful and kind. They even sent me a bunch of flowers which was very much appreciated. Everybody did all they could to solve the problem. Sadly it was not solvable during the stay. Not their fault. Things go wrong. I appreciate that. I feel very angry toward the owner. I wanted a full refund and got just over half. My dream holiday was ruined. My family couldn’t all stay.
Thank you Perfect Stays for doing all you could under such sad circumstances. I highly recommend the company but I do not recommend this property.

We were there in October half term, the property was stunning, all amenities close by.

This property was stunning everything was just perfect for the 4 couples
The social space with the huge log fire in the middle was fantastic and the endless supply of logs was brilliant
No expense spared with the furnishings , linens and decor !
Didn’t want to leave - fabulous !!

Pentyak House was superb. Well appointed, spacious and ideal for all the family. Lovely view and garden too!

Had a wonderful week’s holiday. The company were very helpful with any questions I had before our stay. I did have to call them when we were in the house to fix a problem with a shower and a leaking tap. They arranged for it to be fixed but the plumber never arrived. I contacted them to report this but did not have a reply so it was not fixed. Also the duke box did not work when we arrived which was disappointing and they said they would find the key to fix it but they never did. I once again messaged them to ask about it but did not get a reply. These things did not spoil our stay at all, but we were told to report anything that we found was not working in the property and it was not followed up
Beautiful house, lovely position, indoor pool could do with being a little warmer but we would definitely stay there again

had the most amazing time this is our second house we have stayed in with Perfect Stays and they don’t disappoint. Shun Lee is so spacious for our family of 13 ages ranging from 6-61 everyone has personal space if needed and so quiet. We hardly used the car other than shopping at Lidl but Tesco is walking distance if you only need a few bits. Carbis Bay and St Ives both walking distance although very hilly so may not be ideal if you have elderly family especially if in a wheelchair.
We visited Camel Creek adventure park again this year which didn’t disappoint the whole family enjoy this place all the rides are family friendly and everyone enjoys the indoor slides including the adults.
We also visited Una St Ives for the leisure facilities it has indoor & outdoor pool along with sauna steam room and treatments if you want them. There is no time restrictions for the pools and in October half term it was pretty quiet so the kids loved it.
As it was Halloween 🎃 while we were there we had a fabulous party in the dining room we brought decorations from home and made a real party 🎉 feel to the room.
The only disappointment was we had to come home 🙈
We would definitely stay again but for now we want to explore other areas and have booked Panorama in Mawgan Porth for next year.
These houses are great for making memories with family and so much better than fighting with the problems you come across with going abroad.
Can’t wait for next year on count down already and the kids are so excited.

We recently stayed at The Hideout in Mawgan Porth through Perfect Stays, and it was genuinely outstanding. Perfect Stays has a fantastic portfolio of properties and on previous trips to the area we had always noticed The Hideout, but it was never available for our dates. This year we booked early and finally managed to stay there, and it absolutely lived up to expectations.

The property itself is incredible. The location is unbeatable and the house would honestly be a dream retirement spot for me. We stayed as a family of four plus two of our kids’ friends, and the children were in heaven. They spent most of their time in the pool room and cinema, which gave them plenty to enjoy and gave us some peaceful moments too.

The service from Perfect Stays was faultless. The housekeepers and maintenance team, Paul and Jen, were brilliant. They texted us while we were travelling down to let us know the property was ready early, which saved us from killing an hour at the services. They also updated us about a couple of very minor issues before we arrived, none of which caused us any trouble. During the stay there was a leaky tap in the spare bathroom, and I really like that Perfect Stays encourages guests to report anything like that so they can get it sorted for the next visitors.

We could not fault the property or the service. I would not hesitate to recommend Perfect Stays and will definitely book through them again on our next visit to the area.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Waders. It was well equipped, spacious, warm, comfortable and well thoughtout. Views are stunning and the enclosed garden was great for the grandchilden for a little outdoor play.

We recently spent a week at The Nook in Cornwall and, whilst we always strive to be respectful guests and keep the property tidy, our overall experience was rather disappointing for several reasons.

Property Location and Listing Accuracy:
One major issue was the misleading information regarding the property’s location. The listing did not make it clear that The Nook is situated within the owners’ home space, essentially in their garden. You have to drive past the main house each time you come and go, and the family can be heard from the property. While privacy efforts have been made, future guests should be fully aware of this arrangement, as we would have chosen a different property had this been clear from the marketing materials at the time.

Transparency of Management:
What was described as the ‘property manager’ is actually the homeowner, which was not made clear. The attempt to professionalise the service felt a bit condescending. For transparency, it should be clearly stated from the outset who is managing the property.
Additionally, after my initial communication with Perfect Stays prior to our stay, it became apparent she was the owner only later on once we arrived.

Also completely unacceptably, I had seen that the property owner had viewed my LinkedIn profile after our exchange, which was again a very strange practice and if guest vetting is necessary, perhaps the process should be reconsidered with Perfect Stays.

Communication and Management Concerns:
During our stay, we made a genuine effort to maintain the cleanliness of The Nook. There was an unfortunate incident with the garden umbrella which fell over whilst we were out for a short while – a genuine mistake that we immediately communicated to Property Owner about. However, the response felt somewhat accusatory rather than understanding and ended up being charged an amount from the security deposit to replace.

Far more frustratingly, we were also accused of taking the pillow covers and charged £14. Firstly, there is no way we would take budget pillow cases from a hotel room. However, in any case the he charge for these felt unnecessary and insulting, especially as external cleaners are used; perhaps these should be checked before assuming guests are at fault. On a related note, my pair of Ray-Bans went missing, and despite asking, there was no communication about them being found. Again, it would be worth checking with cleaners if items are reported missing.

Other Issues:
While not the fault of the owners, the number of flies on the property was off-putting and negatively affected our stay. Being on a working farm, this can be expected, but it certainly detracted from our experience.

Value for Money:
Given the high price during peak season, the value for money we felt was severely lacking. There was no view from the property, and the walking routes suggested were poor despite the advertising of great routes. These factors, combined with the issues above, made the experience fall short of expectations.

We appreciate the efforts made to provide a comfortable stay, but overall, our experience at The Nook was disappointing. For those considering booking, we recommend asking detailed questions about the property’s location, management, and amenities to avoid similar surprises.

Red Cove
Our recent stay was absolutely wonderful and relaxing. The property is well maintained, very comfortable with stunning sea views and a warm welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. Will be back next year again.

We use perfect stays every year for our holiday and their service is excellent. This year we stayed at Tatur Du home in Harlyn Bay and wow what a house. The views, the comfort it was pure luxury. Will definitely be returning. x

We stayed at Brynia - an incredible 5-bedroom house for a celebratory long weekend, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The home is beautifully styled throughout, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The views over the sea and estuary are simply stunning — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway.

The property is ideal for families, with plenty of space for children to play and explore the beautifully landscaped grounds. The hot tub was an absolute highlight — perfect for unwinding while soaking in the scenery. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, complete with everything you could possibly need, even an ice machine!

A special mention goes to Wendy and the team at Perfect Stays, who were fantastic from start to finish — warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive to any questions we had. Their attention to detail and hospitality made our stay seamless and extra special.

We couldn’t recommend this property or Perfect Stays highly enough and will definitely be booking with Wendy and her team again. An unforgettable weekend in a truly stunning home!

Initial reaction when entering the property was just WOW! The in person experience is way better than the online images suggest. The house was very clean and yet had a comfortable feel making you feel at home with everything you could need - we could not think of a single thing that was missing! The welcome pack was amazing and if you had arrived late it would have settled you in easily. We rented the house for a special family occasion- our daughter was having a wedding blessing on the beach; so we had a mixture of family groups staying from 90 years old to 20 year olds! The house really hosted our gathering well and we were able to have the most memorable and fantastic experience. I would say that if you have family members with mobility issues the stairs going to upstairs are quite steep but there are plenty of rails etc to help you. The facilities for outdoor activities and keeping equipment tidy, clean and dry etc was fabulous and making the transition from beach to house for people and dog easy. The contact with Perfect Stays and all involved was again a 5star experience. You felt that there was nothing too big or too small to ask for help with and they were very efficient with communication; I would 100% consider using them again. We would also very much like to return to Nordhook to make more fabulous memories.
