I would highly recommend this company for brilliant service and greatly reducing my anxieties and worries when it came to my pregnancy. I have visited multiple times and every time (despite seeing various sonographers) they have put my mind at ease and been so kind whilst doing so.

Second time visiting peek baby the staff are amazing there so welcoming and very professional during your scan. Only thing I will say is allow extra time when your scans booked they don’t always run on time which is absolutely fine for me but I know some people can moan. But anytime is worth waiting for to see your baby. Massive thank you to staff at peek a baby. Also my sonographer today who was S.Y and assistant Lara was lovely. I enjoyed every moment of my 4D scan x

I have been going to peek a baby since 2019. They were amazing with my sons scans, my daughters scans but the one thing that stuck out for me, was when I miscarried. I have never felt so supported in my life. I'd like to thank all the staff for the magical experience they've given me with my 2 rainbow babies, but also the support they gave me with my angel baby. Will 100% come back if I have another in the future!

Staff so friendly and caring, scan experience was really great. They make things really special, took their time and got some amazing 3D pictures

Arrived at the clinic 5 minutes early and was waiting for 30 minutes for my appointment bursting with excitement, had my scan which was VERY rushed I was probably laying down for about 5 minutes all in all. After waited for scan pictures to find my name spelt incorrectly on my scan pictures. Really not worth the money, when I was there another couple was unhappy with the service to. Would of rather waited for my NHS scan or gone elsewhere, whole experience was very rushed didn’t enjoy at all. Wouldn’t go back or recommend.

The worst experience I have ever had. I booked in for a pelvic wellbeing scan. The sonographer I had is totally unfit for her job and displayed a sincere lack of professionalism. Her behaviour and mannerisms created an extremely hostile environment and made me incredibly uncomfortable. I came out of my appointment in floods of tears. The whole appointment was very traumatic. After reading others reviews since it is clear this individual despite having complaints made about her for over 4 years has not changed her behaviour and is allowed to continue to practise. Save your money and go to other establishments!

I visited here a few weeks ago for reassurance and it was absolutely brilliant. The NHS refused to see me despite bleeding and pain, being a first time mum with anxiety I was going crazy! PeekABaby saw me the next day and even though we got sad news they were so kind and caring. They let me sit in a private room for as long as I needed, they gave me a report which my gp read and I even called a couple of weeks later once I had recovered and they were able to give me a few pictures.
I don’t know how they have the other bad reviews but my experience was nothing short of amazing and hopefully when I am pregnant again, I will be coming here regularly!!

I had my early scan here. I have had a history of previous miscarriages so They really put my mind at ease and they were really reassuring. From Sonographer to the staff everyone looked after us and I really can’t recommend them enough. Will soon be going for my Gender scan.

Unprofessional sonography, did not explain anything, very unclear pictures. Waste of money, only staff in reception is nice thats it. But scan process is rubbish.

Looks like a back street plastic surgery, selling cans of coke and chocolates at reception, blaring TV in waiting room etc

Should have walked there and then but had booked an early pregnancy "reassurance" scan to ease anxiety of my pregnant partner so went ahead. Sonographer had no clue what she was doing, tried using external scanner when as for such an early stage only internal would do. Claimed to see nothing at all on the scan whereas the week before a foetal pole and heart beat had already been identified, and was the following day also. Wasn't particularly nice or communicative about it either which perhaps explains the need for an additional staff member to be present.

Made a complaint and spoke to the "complaints" manager - said she would speak to sonographer and come back after offering a follow up scan for free (no thank you) - heard nothing back whatsoever.

Basically aside from being a waste of money, this place does not provide the service it advertises in terms of an early pregnancy reassurance scan, whether a case of dodgy equipment, dodgy personnel or both. Either way to be avoided

Waste of money Tbh. Didn’t enjoy the experience felt gutted for booking this place. I was upset all the way going home. It’s like throwing money down the drain. NHS experience was much better and scan was longer. Thought because we are paying, it will be better experience but no it wasn’t. Appointment was at 5:45 waited half an hour to be seen. Just because one couple came late they gave them our place ( I guess it was because they paid more then us)
The scan was only 5mins and baby position wasn’t right they told me to wiggle and jump 🙄 baby didn’t move and everything was rushed. They just told us the gender and said baby was okay. Could’ve called us for a rescan.
Overall I would advise not to book this place, cos the gender scan is only 5mins long.

Peek-a-baby got to say they was fantastic loverly welcome very polite and took time doing scan it was a amazing experience can’t fault them at all heard and seen baby’s heartbeat also found out I’m having a girl pictures and gifts was loverly well with the money 😊 can’t fault the place one bit would definitely recommend this was first time using them after recommendations enjoying seeing 3D image of my baby to absolutely amazing 🤩

I was slightly apprehensive after seeing these reviews despite friends recommending peek-a-baby. Other friends had been to another nearby 4d scanning place which did have better reviews however was much more expensive for not such good packages. However, I needn’t have worried as Peek-a-baby was amazing. The girls on reception were absolutely lovely, explained everything and doubled checked information and were also ensuring everyone sanitised and were spread out. They even asked some customers who were early to come back shortly due to the waiting room being at capacity (and got a rude response despite the polite reasonable request and explanation) yet I didn’t feel anxious in there like other places which have felt overcrowded during covid, all sensibly done.
The sonographer and her assistant were also lovely and enthusiastic despite our baby being awkward with its foot in front of its face so we were asked to go for a walk and have a drink and come back in 10-15mins which worked. We were asked to re-sanitise and seen quickly and had a lovely scan. As we didn’t want to know the sex they also ensured when doing certain measurements we looked away. Very happy with the package, results and service. Such a special memory.

Really surprised to see the bad reviews on here. My experience was nothing short of amazing. I came for an Early Scan and then back again for a sexing scan and both times it was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind and the sonographers (different one each time) were very patient and explained everything in great detail. I was very nervous due to previous pregnancy complications, but the sonographer was so kind and really put my mind at ease. Baby was being a little awkward on the sexing scan so they offered me a free drink and had a little walk around, and then came back and everything worked! I will certainly be recommending Peek A Baby and I will be back again for a 4D scan.

Awful experience. Sadly was told that my baby hadn't developed and no heartbeat was detected. The way I was told was so cut and dry and sonographer's bedside manner was awful. I was told that I could pop to the loo while she was printing off report for me however when I returned to the room there was another lady in the room being scanned. I was left in reception and took for me to ask the receptionist what to do next (who to be fair was a sweet lady). No aftercare or guidance as to what to do next. I'm usually a very fair and reasonable person however I would certainly urge people to absolutely not use this service. Also not sure why they ask for cash only??

Me and my partner attended the gender scan. The staff were very friendly on arrival and we’re very attentive, however the scan was rushed and the sonographer result didn’t take any measurements of the baby which I assumed would be done in the well being check. (Maybe this was a misunderstanding on my part). The ‘well-being’ report and scan photos had no measurements so we were left unsure exactly how big our baby is and if she was on track for the gestational age. If in doubt call to double check what the well-being check entails as I think it’s quite misleading.

Peek-A-Baby is operated by Ultrasound-Care Scanning Services Ltd and provide clinical and diagnostic scans, and baby ultra sound scans, including 2D and 4D images and videos. The baby scanning is provided under the Peek-A-Baby brand name and makes up 95% of the business. It provides women who use their service with images for keepsakes and diagnostics for reassurance. Other clinical and diagnostic scans are provided under the providers Ultrasound-Care Scanning Services division and provide scans for men and women over 18 years of age.
We inspected this service using our comprehensive inspection methodology. We undertook an announced inspection on 26 February and conducted a telephone interview on 24 March 2020. To get to the heart of patients’ experiences of care and treatment, we ask the same five questions of all services: are they safe, effective, caring, responsive to people's needs, and well-led? Where we have a legal duty to do so we rate services’ performance against each key question as outstanding, good, requires improvement or inadequate.
Throughout the inspection, we took account of what people told us and how the provider understood and complied with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
We rated it as Requires improvement overall Our key findings were as follows:
• The service did not have access to an identified level three safeguarding trained lead. This was not in line with national guidance.
• The service did not routinely time patient scans and did not record those which exceeded 15 minutes.
• The service had some arrangements in place to assess and manage risks to patients, however the process for risk
assessing individual patients was not sufficiently robust.
• There was no formal risk register for the risks the service had identified.
• The service used family members to translate for patients who did not speak or understand English.
• The service did not keep records of team meetings and minutes and actions were not recorded.
• Actions following complaints were not recorded and there was no formal log of all complaints.
• There were gaps in the delivery, recording and implementation of quality monitoring.The service did not have a
documented business continuity plan.
• The service did monitor or analyse patient feedback.

During the Covid im sure a lot of Ladies have experienced that their partners have been missing out on the baby scans. So i was very excited to book a 4D scan with Peek-a-baby, the package i booked was Cuddly cub 4D scan costing £79, the package came with a loads of cool things like 10-15 mins dvd of the baby in 4d, 3 colour pictures of the baby, additional 10-15 images of the baby on a cd, and complimentary A4 picture. The staff were friendly however i noticed they had quite a few customers waiting for their scan, when we was called into the room everything felt rushed, my baby did not want to play ball and kept hiding their face, so i had to jump around and take a 20 min walk to see if they will change position, we was called back into the room and still no such luck, but once again, everything was just so rushed, 3 4D pictures of the baby was taken, and kept on file as we had to re book the scan for another day, which we did.
2nd Scan appointment: the place was not busy as it was the previous time,so i was more relaxed as i thought they it wouldn't be as rushed as before, however once we went inside, the baby was not facing the right direction, and once again things were happening very quickly, do this do that, if that doesn't work, step out for 20 mins and come back in. once back in, still no luck, they didn't even want to try at this point, they started talking about issuing a £34 refund, i tried asking if i would be given anything for the £45 which i will be losing, but they talked over me about a well being report which will cost an extra £10 on top of the £45 so at this point i would be down £55 with nothing to show for it, which i obviously declined.
so at the front desk and i received my refund, i had asked the lady at reception if they will include the free gift pack with the refund, this was also part of the package, i have concluded that if i had not asked i would not have even gotten that. all in all, don't get caught up in the hype, its not worth losing all that money for, especially if you are unfortunate to have a baby who plays hide and seek :) i strongly would not recommend.

I just had a gender scan very poor service scan was rushed and unprofessional picture that they printed are not professional either

it was ok 🤷🏼‍♀️ Had better scans else where.
